Love it and the client managers are fantastic

PROS

I loved the full service nature of the relationship along with the knowledge and capabilities of the team.

CONS

I would have liked some self service aspects, especially when SLAs grew.

Reason for choosing Wunderkind

It was the only game in town at the time.

Great at recapturing site visitors and growing our email list

PROS

I like that the account team does the heavy lifting for us, from A/B testing new ideas, to design of onsite experiences and email contents. They bring their best practices to the table, so we don't have to figure it out ourselves.

CONS

While the on-site experiences and email delivery is solid, it's hard to understand the true incrementally of their identity graph for identifying otherwise anonymous website traffic. Their service is expensive, and they ride on this as a differentiator.

Not Worth Your Time

Their business model is to get you a guaranteed "ROAS". This sounds great but turns out to be terrible as they put most of their effort into pointing attribution for existing conversion sources towards Wunderkind. The ROAS they promise is not incremental. It mostly takes the sales attribution from the automated emails you are already running. The team is focused on taking as much credit as possible for what your site marketing already does, so they can charge you more. When trying to exit the contract, they lock you into the contract. Throughout implementation, we tried to get their tech support on the phone but was told that they did not have time to get on the phone with clients, leaving us with a messy on-site experience.

PROS

I like the concept that their technology can identify users that we cannot and increase the send volume of our automated emails, like abandoned cart and abandoned browse.

CONS

- Implementation was painful and disruptive, costing us a month of SMS capture- It slows down our site speed significantly- The volume of emails is too much for consumers- The pop-up email capture never learned to not show for users who already submitted the form. For a couple of weeks, a button that said "Want 10% Off?" appeared on our site, but nothing happened when the user clicked.
