A Realtime professional Marketing tool(Pinterest)

I generally really like and appreciate that Pinterest has made content marketing and promoting really simple and aesthetically pleasing.

PROS

Using the Pinterest Business account, I mostly appreciate the analytics provided for all pins created. As a content manager, these analytics offer me with insight into the pins that are doing well and the amount of engagement received by the created pins. This has helped me grow my audience reach even on other platforms since Pinterest allows for seamless integration with other social sites.

CONS

I don't like that the recently introduced idea pins do not have provision for adding links to products or websites.

Reasons for switching to Pinterest

Pinterest had a better integration with other social media sites.

Pinterest is going through an identity crisis

I'm hoping Pinterest revisits what made them unique in the first place. They were a visual search engine that benefited the content creator and the user. Now, both are exiting the platform.

PROS

Like most content creators, we loved Pinterest because if you created quality content with the right image dimensions, descriptions, keywords, and were on the right group boards, you had great traffic to your website. Well, now that's been taken away. Most content creators will tell you that their traffic went massively down with the new changes in Pinterest.

CONS

It feels like they don't know what they're doing anymore. Pinterest used to be a visual search engine. Now they're trying to be Instagram by having stories and trying all different routes instead of what made them popular in the first place. Due to this, content creators don't want to waste as much time on Pinterest and users don't either.

a good visual discovery engine

For me Pinterest is a personal platform, one that you go to in order to take time for yourself and not for the sake of connecting with your loved ones. Because of this, influencers are discovered differently on Pinterest, it is primarily by their content that users identify them, not by their reputation or identity. Indeed, a Pinterest user will not spontaneously search for influencers in the application's search bar but will discover inspiring content created by professional content creators as they use the platform.

PROS

Pinterest has a beautiful visual aspect, and it's also a very intuitive tool to look for inspiration on many different topics: interior design, hairstyles, recipes, tattoos, sports exercises, etc. You search, you organize, you select products, you take info from the platform to plan your future projects. It allows you to get many new ideas.

CONS

I don't like the constant ads and algorithm changes. Nevertheless Pinterest is an interesting social network for businesses and brands that have a target audience of women or children. Companies targeting a more male audience will have a hard time leveraging this social network for their digital communication.

Good program for small business and personal use

We solve the problem of expensive ad programs that drive customers because Pinterest is free to use.

PROS

Pinterest allows you to use their platform for free to introduce your business or e-commerce store as well as your items for sale to the users which drives traffic to your website.

CONS

We actually do not see anything negative about the website and we use it every day adding items if new to our website.

Reason for choosing Pinterest

Because it is free. What have we got to lose?
