Most of the time, it is a quick and painless process. I'm able to easily see previews of the posts my customers will see and make recommendations on copy changes. #### Cons It can be a bit glitchy if you are using any browser besides Chrome and especially if you are using a mobile device (how ironic). I have approved some posts only to find them rejected or not yet reviewed. I wish the analytics were stronger. I can capture images from anywhere on the web and make minor changes or add text with the in-built image editor. #### Cons It's difficult and time-consuming to discard drafted posts, which can be overwhelming when old unnecessary posts get mixed in with new ones. I particularly like the calendar and planner views. #### Cons The content management and library features are difficult to use. There is no reposting feature at all which accounts for the majority of one of our pages, so it's cumbersome putting together the planned content for that. They also made it cumbersome to upload media to a post by adding additional places you have to click into instead of the easier to access drag and drop location they had previously. Sked allows you to easily manage multiple social media accounts across multiple platforms: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc. They are constantly innovating and releasing new features to enable greater scheduling options. There aren't many social scheduling platforms on the market that allow you to schedule stories either and I appreciate that Sked enables this. I also think their analytics are much easier to read and reflect to clients. I've not encountered another company yet that offers the same high level of support that Sked does. They're fast and always help you find a solution. There are a lot of features on there (automated posting, automated story posting user tags, alt tags, location tags, etc.) that beat out other competitors because I always want to find ways to make it easier for my contractors and clients to work with social media. #### Cons There are times when it can get a little clunky and glitchy but usually, the issue resolves if I reach out to customer service or if there's a new software update. Because it is so focused on Instagram and Facebook, I feel that SkedSocial lacks the most in other social media platforms. We do get a lot of clients with social media accounts on LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube but it's difficult to get a whole 360-view on how well their entire social media strategy is doing without that data. I do wish there was a whole calendar view of the social media calendar that clients can take a look in addition to seeing all the posts one-by-one. #### Reasons for choosing Sked Social Social Sprout was too expensive. Unfortunately now I can no longer use that feature at all since Installing changed its swipe up links to stickers. Sked needs time to adjust to this change, but it’s very frustrating to lose this feature. #### Cons Same as above. Can no longer add a link to stories. Also I’ve found that the link in bio thumbnails do not match the thumbnail shown in-feed. Also, posting carousels that start with video is glitchy. I also don’t like how big of a price jump it is to upgrade. I manage my LinkedIn and instagram social accounts on it for my consulting business. Having previously worked on the corporate side leading the Social team for a billion-dollar retailer, I knew I was looking for an all-in-one solution to manage the content across my personal business' social channels. I love how I can preview the posts, easily drag and drop creative assets, and schedule ahead of time so I don't have to think about it. I also love the link in bio feature to easily organize links I want to highlight on my instagram channel. The performance analytics are also useful in helping me understand quickly what worked best each month. #### Cons The only wish I have to improve Sked Social, is the tagging feature for LinkedIn posts doesn't usually work. Meaning, I need to post and then manually edit my LinkedIn post to tag a person or company. The best feature by far is automatic carousel posting, as no other scheduling apps offer this. The customer service is also amazing, they are so quick to answer and very helpful. #### Cons The part I like least is the ability to collaborate as a team. I see there is a new feature implemented that allows for a client to approve a post, however I still don't find it as collaborative as some other apps. I think it would be good for clients to see calendar, grid and feed view and have the ability to leave comments with alternative images as well. I also don't love the grid view option on mobile. It is harder to use because the drag and drop isn't very seamless.
