Pros
- Ability to access patient information--demographics is easy to use and so is scheduler.
- The software is simple to navigate for the new employee, yet offers complex reporting and analytics to help us evaluate our continuous improvement.
Cons
- It doesn't put the account overview in date of service order. It puts in order that it's entered which makes it hard to find specific dates without scrolling through the entire chart.
- Secondary claims that need to be sent to insurances for some reason never go automatically. I am not sure what exactly I am doing wrong or if that is just how it is.
Pros
- Adding assays is quite easy and being able to program different rules in order to customize our client's experience is extremely important.
- Orchard Harvest is an easy to use LIS which makes training new users to its functionality much easier than other LIS systems. It is a reliable platform with a high quality interface.
Cons
- Orchard has jury-rigged many solutions over the years which can cause problems with stability. It is not uncommon for us to have to restart their LIS server due to hiccups.
- For example, we choose an accession, there are no results yet, then move on to the next one which is also empty, and then maybe ten below it, there's data to look at.
