  • Pros

  • Netsmart is constantly improving their product and has made it possible for us to move forward and successfully receive "Meaningful Use" stimulus dollars to help pay for our EHR initiatives.
  • I have used other systems and all are better. I cannot even say it is reliable.
  • I've used others so I am aware what good looks like.
  • Cons

  • To give you an idea of how bad it is, the software would often crash while in the middle of using it with a client/patient.
  • Daily despair, progressing more recently to potentially life-threatening arrhythmias. Seeing patients while documenting and looking for data concurrently is a torturous burden.
  • The upgrade from MyAvatar to MyAvatarNX was actually worse. The software is so bad that it demoralized me to the point of looking for different employment after 7 years.

  • After using numerous spa and salon software systems in ireland and overseas over the last 16 years, none compare to the quality, ease of use and superb aftercare service that Phorest supplies.
  • An all singing all dancing piece of kit!!!! Amazing. Quick, efficient, fabulous customer service, easy to use even for computerphobes.
  • Phorest can do as much or as little as you need it to with amazing customer service (and VERY patient representatives!). I'm glad I made this choice.
  • Cons

  • We left Salon Iris because the software was so redundant and complicated. It has many features but had ugly visual and rude customer service.
  • The only con I have is that if my receptionist makes a mistake with the subtotal for a client and hits pay. I can't go back and change it.
  • They charge inflated prices for simple things and hide the charges so you aren't aware of them.
