Review on Panda Health from HR client

Panda Health have been amazing. Mandy, Alon, Dave, Senzi and team have assisted with all our requirements. What we have really enjoyed is our Mazars partners and leaders co-facilitating "Forest sessions" with Panda. This creates live employee engagement. We have been working with Panda since June 2022. The Panda well-being app has been so beneficial for our staff. Employees like to have control over the well-being sessions that they wish to participate in. We now understand what well-being challenges are most important to our staff and can craft specialized interventions with the Panda team.

PROS

I like that we can access real-time info about our staff wellbeing. We can see the demographics (offices; gender; age; etc); frequency of staff engagement and understand the actual key issues that staff are facing. We are currently addressing the 2 key issues that the majority of our staff are battling with, and this was elicited via Panda Health reporting. We then offer focused interventions to address this.

CONS

When we required something; Panda was very responsive.

Panda Health is innovative; forward-thinking; great service and support from Panda and easy and convenient for employees to use.

Reasons for switching to October

Felt that Panda was more proactive, innovative and better suited to our staff. The average age of our workforce is between 22-35 years of age and an app is more appealing to this demographic. Panda is also proactive and good for employees who are doing really well and want to enhance their wellbeing, learn more and self-actualize. Panda app is easy to use and can be utilized anywhere and everywhere.

Panda: A game-changer for mental health and resilience of students

PROS

The Panda app, has been described by the Thuthuka students at the University of the Free State as a game-changer when it comes to orienting them in the right direction to make their academic journey less overwhelming. The students have described how much they have set their sleeping patterns in line, the efforts that they are now putting in towards their diet. They have also detailed how they are now able to better handle the stressful test weeks and how all these actions have improved their productivity.

CONS

It takes a bit of time to understand how the 'forest' works, but once you've used it once, it becomes automatic and easy.

Great App

PROS

I found the features to be extremely user friendly. I love that Panda asks how one is feeling on that day. This makes me really scale the pros and cons of my day and give an overall rating. I like how each session is relevant to every day life even when it is not specific to ones current needs.

Panda - a Winning Pro-active Mental Health Care Product

PROS

What's really great about Panda is that instead of focussing solely on reactive mental health care for employees, they focus on pro-active mental health care. The features of their product are of great use and something that people on my Team are actually using and finding helpful and interactive - instead of features that one will never use, but just look nice. The Panda Team are attentive to the needs of me and my Team and worked hard to help ensure that my Team is set up for success.

CONS

Nothing - even their support team is quick to respond to any issues that arise.

A Game changer for any responsible business MD/CEO whos staff a really assets

Huge help in dealing with personal issues within my own lifeHas been instrumental in identifying the areas staff are struggling with and understanding the many mental wellness issues staff are dealing with every day. In turn, it has allowed us to focus on where we can help and not just hope we are doing the right thing.

While PANDA is 100% autonomous to the users, there is always a challenge to convince users of this. But with a structured approach, it is easy to show all users the confidentiality and benefits
