It has been awesome to know I can track staff, device but not use active directory. It's only took a few days to learn the software and the documentation has been awesome.

The product is quick and responsive. Streamlines and adds AD like features to small businesses with no need or desire to implement AD.

JumpCloud has helped Octane solve so many issues that I didn't even know I needed to solve. And on top of that their support team and our account manager are the absolute best.

Its a good solution for user management, makes work easier and provides good security solutions.

This has a great integration with Google allowing the ability to manage resources outside of the office environment.

It allows single-sign-on (SSO) across a variety of systems. For me, of particular interest was having Linux and G Suite SSO, for which JumpCloud provides an excellent solution.

10 free licenses for life - great for custom jobs and adhoc deployments. These licenses are feature rich as well.

The SSO integration is a great feature which is included in the standard plan, and allows us to save money and resources on having an additional solution in our tech stack.

Also, setting up the RADIUS server is difficult because there are so many different kinds of networking devices.

Great integrations with other apps (we use Office365 for most clients). With JumpCloud a small company really doesn't need a Windows Active Directory server on premises any longer.

Customer on boarding is superb and there are new features added all the time.

I like using the commands feature mostly out of the all of the modules. It allows me to automate my environment and support my helpdesk effectively from behind the scenes.

Its ease of use for integrating into the infrastructure was very easy.

Once I got over the initial installation and understanding of the install process we have been successful at setting up a handful of computers.

I like the integrations and synchronizations to other applications. Specifically, we use a hybrid AD approach.

Older features don't have reporting enabled where new features all have logging in mind when building. Often falling back to REST API to perform tasks which not available on admin gui.

No MDM support for Linux and there are lots of features missing for Linux OS.

I have been very happy with the price and reliability of the services that I need from JumpCloud. I don't use them all, but what I do use, I use extensively.

Their technical support has been very helpful and responsive in the few (maybe two times in two years?) I've needed to call them.

The Groups should be collapsible. Exports should be able to contain everything (the group field is missing) and there's no filter/modification/selection on group view.

The tracking unfortunately stops working if the app is deleted.

SimpleMDM has been a lifesaver to manage our large amount of devices deployed to customers.

What tipped the scale for me in the end was the friendliness and willingness to help that I experienced with the SimpleMDM staff.

Relatively easy to use, responsive support staff.

Sound library of features and they appear to continually improve the app. Once I got the hang of the app it seems to be quite solid.

I work with this software about 3 months, it is a very good service, easy to use and i think also very complete.

The process to get pricing was also a pain. Meraki: Much like Airwatch it was painful to get pricing.

We're using SimpleMDM for managing about 20 kiosks which works great. Support is very responsive and helpful.

When I first starting enrolling devices I was a bit lost and enrolled a few devices incorrectly. I had to some searching of my own to finally get the devices to enroll correctly.

Their pricing was also competitive, though really, I'd pay a premium to use them because they were the only solution that was really easy to use and worked for our requirements.

We previously used Meraki's complex MDM system and were continuously faced with problem after problem because of issues on their side. Not to mention the over-complicated interface they use.

Using this software made us save a lot of time when deploying our iPads to customers, and gave us the ability to lock down the device so they could only access the things we wanted them to.

It's a solid product, but a few small changes would make it awesome.

Airwatch: I can tell there's a lot of functionality here but it's such a pain to use. I had to make so many clicks just to get to what I needed to get to.

Their staff was extremely helpful in resolving the issue, offering to retrieve old data backups they had to recover a certificate I had deleted.

I had a hard time finding the features I wanted.

The interface quickly became unruly and the configuration options too general and limited as we got going.

I loved the fact it basically provides all of the functionality of a JAMF setup without me having to own and manage a server.

SimpleMDM is much better than what else we've come across. It's a combination of well designed software and is easy to use.

Customer service is responsive and more knowledgeable than we are used to.

Not to mention Simple's price point is less than half of that of Meraki's, and the customer service is fast, friendly, and intelligent.

SimpleMDM has been a fantastic tool to use to manage the thousand of devices we have deployed in the field. The features to customize the different components required for our deployment are amazing.

I like SimpleMDM because the price is competitive, it just works and I feel that I'm using the best in breed product in the MDM space. Just make sure you don't need to support Android.

Bushel: Much easier to use, but I had problems with it not always working. Sometimes devices wouldn't update.

SimpleMDM is a mobile device management solution designed to help businesses automate, manage and deploy updates, licenses, applications or installer packagers across Apple devices. Administrators can set up and enroll employees' personal devices via Apple configurator, email, weblink, SMS and more.
