I have used a lot of project management software between different jobs and Active Collab has by far been the easiest, most straightforward, and practical. I love how streamlined it is.

Ease of use, very similar in concept to Facebook. The price is super reasonable.

There are MANY other project management tools out there and I've used a number of them. Active Collab is the best in my opinion in light of the integrations and ease of use.

Convoluted structure is a hindrance to workflow.

Second, the price per user is very affordable. It would be a great tool to use if you want to spend the time on the API to customize it to your needs.

It does these with ease. Then it layered great collaborative working.

While it is perfect for managing many different types of projects, this is still not the perfect tool for managing software development projects.

Its a powerful, yet simple project management tool. It has user friendly interface which is the best part of this product.

We tried many alternatives, but the simplicity and the ability to self host won us over. Task lists, Kanban Style boards, Time tracking, Notifying and Assigning all work well.

The only reason for that would be, there is no (or that was not back then) an integration with Git or other version of control system. It was simply a missing feature back then.

Time logging was difficult compared to the software we moved to later.

Overall I cannot recommend ActiveCollab enough. The application is extremely user friendly and the support staff is extremely responsive and very helpful.

More and more its becoming a part of my workday. Loving the ability to click on activity on the left to see the company wide activity for each day.

Active Collab gets the balance right between offering lots of features and keeping the interface user friendly.

It's been buggy lately and the issue with images not uploading has been awful.

ActiveCollab is one of the best, if not the best project management tool that I have ever used and I have jumped from one to another tool for different projects and project types.

I like the rich features for project management, and the ease of use. As well as the ability to manage billing.

Two things stand out about Active Collab. First, it has a fully customizable API that can be installed on premises.

Sometimes I struggle with the organization, but overall it's a decent tool.

We ended up transferring from ActiveCollab to Teamwork fairly quickly because it caused some business problems for us.

The only thing I have found that I dislike about ActiveCollab is there is no due date for overall projects.

Super easy to use and i did not even have to read how to use it! very user friendly and easy to communicate with others.

Used this in a big corporation nationally and is a great means to communicate with multiple departments and ensure everyone has the same information.

It's a simple and cost effective way to give employees a portal for expressing certain things - think of it as an internal social network.

Being able to communicate with many organizations in my company is great and useful. It is easy to use and organized.

It combines professional work with a fun side, where I can share ideas with my colleagues, as well as, any other things from my daily life that I may want to share with them.

We liked that this software gives the feeling of community and allowed us to broadcast side comments during a live stream.

Yammer is good for housing commonly asked questions & solving them in a group setting. Learning from each other is helpful.

The way it displays/sorts the feed is just confusing and unintuitive. Makes it hard to find specific posts.

This platform is almost like the social media platform we use in the workplace. It allows us to communicate better and share ideas and recognize those that do good deeds within our organization.

It is more general or light-hearted news that is shared here, such as community service activities, industry trends, inspirational words from upper management. It makes us feel connected.

Communication method is better than sending emails. User friendly interfaces.

A simple UI and easy daily usage, great to share news to teammates, the content segmented by channel and topic subscription.

There is a lack of consistency when tagging people. Names display first/last and last/first which can be annoying.

I am restricted by way of my company access. I am unable to start a new yammer blog from a remote computer outside of the company that I work for.

The ease of use and user friendliness makes it easy to use inside the organization and lets you spread the word quickly like any other social messaging sites but perfect limit ability.

The ability to stay connected to large company updates is fantastic. Its also a great tool for projects.

Interesting features and awesome idea. The user interface is not just an exactly nice one.

This application is easy to use and integrate into Microsoft products. I like how different groups can customize their topics and yammer page.

It's good to be on Yammer and check what is happening with the business and an excellent platform to network with your peers.

What i like the most about Yammer is its User interface, it is easy to navigate and we did not need any training to operate it. The best feature is that it can be integrated with Office 365 as well.

The interface is user friendly and very easy to use. It has all the best features like photo tagging.

The lack of integration with much of anything except Microsoft products. I'm not in that ecosystem so it makes no sense to use Yammer anymore.

Projects are split into tasks and subtasks. Tasks can be filtered by the due date, assigned users, or custom labels. Dependencies between the tasks can be set, so there’s always an exact order of tasks. Automatic rescheduling allows for the child tasks to follow the change made to the parent task automatically.
