### Most mentioned pros

- PayHOA is one stop shop for all my needs on managing HOA community, especially you can send emails and announcements to all the community member easily, also homeowner can see the latest update from payhoa too.
- PayHOA has met those expectations by providing an organized, easy-to-use platform for managing homeowner information, collecting dues, tracking payments, and communicating with residents.
- It's the perfect solution for a smaller, self-managed condo association like ours that provides invoicing, payment collection, transaction reconciliation, budgeting and more capabilities at a reasonable price.

### Most mentioned cons

- Certain transactions, such as reserve expenses, transfers between accounts, and historical corrections, can sometimes appear in ways that distort financial reports if not carefully configured.
- The website builder is not able to publish links to documents that we want to make available to the general public without a secure login.
- There are periodic gaps in transactions lost in the import. Despite reconnecting our accounts, missing transactions never show up again.

Still excellent. I would recommend any HOA check the company out. If your HOA is self- managed, the features offered will make you seem like a professional organization

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

They continually add services, most recently home resale documents through HomeWise Documents. They also added bookkeeping and accounting services.

#### Cons

As services broaden, monthly fees increase. Having said that, the fee for services provided is still reasonable.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

Some others seemed to be primarily website engines with member database features tacked on. PayHOA seemed to be built primarily with HOA management in mind, was completely cloud based and was affordable.

Robust features and the price for what we needed.

Ive been using the software for about 4 years and the whole experience is very user friendly. Customer support is always very helpful with follow-up to ensure your problems are solved. New features are being added. The pricing is perfect for a self-managed association or small management company.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The simplicity of the software tailored with the help from customer support from set-up forward, make this a very user friendly option. The audit trail for every task makes information readily available keeping operations transparent.

#### Cons

The payables feature could use a little tweaking to prevent possible double entries when printing checks as the form of payment.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

PayHOA had majority of the features that i needed with a fraction of the cost.

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

Pricing was the main factor but there were also a lot of unused and unnecessary features for what my properties needed.

#### Vendor response

Hi Amanda, We always love heading from who have been with us for years. I'm glad you're still finding that the setup, support, and cost work for your association and that the audit trail keeps things transparent. The feedback on printed checks is also helpful, as we're always looking for the best ways to improve the platform and new features that will help our customers. ### Simple, speedy, great value

Of course no software will manage your HOA or Condo Association for you. You must know your state's laws and regulations, have some familiarity with record keeping, bookkeeping, and management principles. If you at least have a mental framework for these thing, PayHOA will serve you well.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The system hits a sweet spot for self managed associations. While they recently are branching out to embrace management companies, they are staying focused on their core customers, which means keeping things as simple as possible. The interface is quick and responsive, but also a little on the simplistic side. This can be a bug or a feature, but I have warmed to it being a feature. There is basic Google Calendar read integration, limited to a single calendar. I'd love to have more robust support, but I totally understand how that quickly complicates things, too. Before you know it, feature creep can ruin simplicity, and I think the PayHOA design people understand this. All of this comes at a very low price. Yet the onboarding support is excellent. Documentation and Knowledge Base articles are robust, and maturing AI features are very helpful.

#### Cons

The documents interface is klunky. Again, is it a bug or a feature? It is a formal records storage facility and really isn't intended as a collaboration platform. Even so, only a short list of file types and name extensions are allowed, which is frustrating to a techie. Lastly, there is a 100 MB limit on the file size, too small for Board meeting video files, which in our state are part of the official Association record.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

Simpler and much cheaper without sacrificing core functionality.

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

We made the switch to self-management, and PayHOA provides the best value for the money

#### Vendor response

Matthew, this review is incredible. I love so much about it. Mostly the pros you shared, but the cons are equally helpful in guiding us on how to get better. Appreciate the time you put into this. It shows!

This has truly been a game changer for our HOA. It makes paying vendors so easy, links to our bank account. Provides multiple templates and the interface is so easy to use.

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Cons

I wish uploading documents like CCR’s and Bylaws and meeting minutes was easier. I was able to do it but getting or creating concise pathways to the folders required a little learning curve.

Absolutely Excellent!! I have had to call in a couple of times for some support and the issues were fixed immediately.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

PayHOA has been amazing to work with. I have had the service for about 8 months and I manage a small COA (condos) in Missouri. Terrific customer support, easy to use and the features are terrific. I really haven't found anything negative. Takes a bit to get used to when you first start, but the learning curve is really fast. I am also a homeowner in the complex. Excellent all around. Saves tons of time and money.

#### Cons

The only thing (which is very small) is if you're a homeowner and also the admin, you cannot separate the two accounts. If you try, the system will kind of lock you out because of the cookies on your computer. Basically, you have to work around that a bit.

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

Quickbooks is robust for sure. However, it's too big in a sense. It does way more than what is needed and it is about double the monthly cost.

#### Vendor response

Hi William, we're glad your Missouri COA found the learning curve to be quick and are saving both time and money. It's also great to hear that you've had a good experience with our support team. Our team is truly invested in our customers, so we're glad they were helpful. Thanks for choosing PayHOA!

It is been very good. Certainly some learning curve but the support has been stellar. Particularly in the early days when we were First Learning , we had many questions and we always got rapid response from their support team. As we progress in our skills , this of course helps us find out new things that we do not under within the system to help you seek answers is helpful about 70% of the time and when it's not we get a response from the support team. Pretty cool!

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Probably the most helpful thing on a daily basis is the ability to manage invoices and payments. With this feature we are able to send out the emails with invoices , or if necessary for those we do not have email addresses for, by US mail. Then our property owners are able to make their payments directly through the system either by a check or ACH transaction with their Bank. This is incredibly helpful for our Treasurer on a day-to-day basis and keeps us on top of who has paid and who has not.

#### Cons

There is not a lot to say here. The product is really good and is getting better all the time. So I cannot really say if something I like least , rather there are features I would like to see added.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

Their engagement was bad and it did not have nearly the functionality we need (vs PayHOA)

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

QuickBooks was raising their costs quite considerably, almost double with they had been the prior year. This set us down the road of researching alternatives , and that took us to payHOA after investigating a number of options out in the marketplace.

#### Vendor response

Pat, invoicing and payment tracking sound like they're carrying a lot of weight for your treasurer day to day, especially with mail-based invoicing for owners without email. Glad support was there early on while you were learning the system, and that they've stayed responsive as you've gotten more advanced with it. Thanks for taking the time to share this and leave a positive review. We're looking forward to continuing to work with you!

It is unbelievable how easy this is to use, how many features it has and how inexpensive the product is. Amazing value for the price.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

The ability to link all of our bank accounts into one place. We can now see all transactions and issue vendor payments straight from the system. The reporting is beautiful and so relieving. We were in spreadsheets before this. Now the system takes care of reporting for us automatically.

#### Cons

We have 326 homes so the document repository grew really fast when we started utilizing it to store individual homeowner documents. I wish it had the ability to add/assign a document to a homeowner straight from the Documents tab. I wish it was organized better in the Documents tab if we've added documents to individual accounts.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

The value. The price point for the features included seems highly valuable and it was at a price we can afford in our budget. You should know, your text box did not allow me to select any of the real vendors we were selecting from. We were choosing between: CASA LLC, Robson Property Management, PMI Green Country, Green Country HOA, and JellyBird HOA Management.

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

This text box would not let me put our real vendor which was HOA Guru. HOA Guru had hardly any features and was very difficult to use from an administrative perspective. It was also owned and operated by one person; who is coincidentally retiring.

#### Vendor response

Hi Samantha, Thanks for the review - love the title! It's great to hear that PayHOA has been valuable for your community, especially in terms of reporting and features. The feedback on document organization for a community with several hundred units is also helpful, thank you for sharing that with us. It sounds like you had a very thorough selection process as well, with a diverse array of vendors. We're happy that PayHOA came out on top and that you're part of the PayHOA community now. Welcome!

### Made Self-Managing Our HOA Actually Possible

- Overall rating: 5/5
- Reviewer: Joshua S.
- Verified reviewer: Yes
- Industry: Non-Profit Organization Management
- Company size: 51-200 employees
- Product usage: Used weekly for less than 2 years
- Reviewed: July 2026
- Review source details: This reviewer was invited by the software vendor to submit an honest review and offered a nominal incentive as a thank you.

Overall, PayHOA has let our all volunteer board do what would otherwise require a paid property management company, at a fraction of the cost. The transition from fully managed to self-managed could have been a lot rockier than it was, and PayHOA is a big part of why it went smoothly. Between the community communication tools, maintenance and architectural request tracking, and reasonably easy onboarding, it has become a core part of how we operate. The bank reconciliation gap is a real drawback, but it has not outweighed the overall value for us.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

The feature that has made the biggest difference for us is the ability to send instant email and text blasts to the entire community. As a self-managed HOA, we rely heavily on our pressurized irrigation system, and when there is a shutoff or maintenance issue, being able to notify every resident right away has been huge. We have actually had residents thank us for the transparency and speed of communication, which was not something we could do when a third party was managing us. Maintenance requests and architectural committee approvals have also been genuinely useful. Instead of tracking these through scattered email threads, everything comes through the platform, gets routed appropriately, and there is a clear record of what was requested and approved. Getting stood up on PayHOA was also easier than expected. We transitioned from a fully managed HOA to a self-managed one, and onboarding was mostly self-serve, though it felt like support was there if we needed it. That mattered a lot going from a management company handling everything to an all volunteer board handling it ourselves. The platform also works well across different comfort levels. I am probably the power user on our board, while others mostly just respond to notifications for things like polls or architectural review requests, and PayHOA handles both of those use cases without friction.

#### Cons

The main friction point for us is the connection between invoices and payments in PayHOA and our actual bank account records. It does not feel fully connected, and reconciling the two takes more consistent attention than we are always able to give it. We are an all volunteer board, everyone has a full time job, and this is a side responsibility, so we are not always on top of it the way a dedicated bookkeeper would be. When we do stay on top of it, it works well and helps keep our balance sheet accurate, but the gap between the platform and our bank is something we notice.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

It had the right features/integrations, and it didn't break the bank. We are a small HOA and a management company has become unaffordable, so we are glad a right-size option exists

#### Vendor response

Hi Joshua, Thanks for taking the time to give us a review and share your experiences. We're happy to hear that PayHOA has helped in a lot of ways, especially in terms of communication. It sounds like that was a pain point for you in the past, and it's great that PayHOA could help with that and other needs, such as architectural review requests. The need to reconcile invoices and payments in PayHOA and your bank account records is definitely an area that requires more hands on involvement from boards, although we hope the bank integrations make that at least a little easier. If you're ever interested, our team can offer some options to bridge the gap with some of that accounting work, although it sounds like you do a great job already. Managing an HOA as a volunteer with a full-time job is a lot of work, we're glad PayHOA could help. Thanks for being a customer, we're happy to have you!

### PayHOA Was a Real Game Changer OUr Invoicing & Payment Processing

I have been extremely pleased with PHOA both as a program and with the support provided by its employees. Some examples: 1. PayHOA generates all of our invoices and processes all incoming payments through their system. Previously I was doing all of this myself. I actually burned up my printer. 2. The PayHOA RULES feature expedites categorizing both receipts and expenditures by automatically assigning them to the designated categories. 3. PayHOA prints and mails all correspondence to our homeowners. Previously, we paid a local office supply business to print them & we stuffed & mailed them ourselves. All our board members are volunteers and all these features have saved us a tremendous amount of time and headaches.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I am the treasurer for a small HOA. Before I located PayHOA, I was handling all invoicing and receipts myself. Each invoice had to be printed, stuffed, and mailed individually. Checks came into our post office box and then had to be sorted, posted, and deposited manually. In addition, we had no way to process credit card payments. Even though Tour HOA is small by some standards, the whole process was still very time-consuming and burdensome. PayHOA took over those tasks and also let us accept credit card payments, which many of our homeowners had been asking for. It was a real game changer for me. PayHOA also has an excellent support team. They are very personable and were extremely helpful to me when I first set up the program.

#### Cons

Since we are a small HOA there are many features of PayHOA that we don't use. Its primary purpose is processing all of our financial transactions. The only feature that I initially disliked has since been redesigned. That has to do with the initial creation of the chart of accounts, though you still have to go under the BUDGET menu option in order to set it up.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

I was using Quickbooks at the time.and I looked at several programs offered online . I don't remember what they were now . I chose PayHOA specifically because they could migrate our data from Quickbooks into their system, eliminating the need for me to have to re input everything.

#### Vendor response

Marsha, I just responded to your other review on G2. Thanks for sharing your feedback here as well. The printer comment still has us laughing! We felt that on a very real level.

### A Great Solution for a Self-Managed HOA

- Overall rating: 5/5

My overall experience with PayHOA has been very positive. As a self-managed HOA, we needed a system that would help the board stay organized without making the process overly complicated. PayHOA has given us a central place to manage homeowner accounts, payments, communications, documents, and association records. It has also made it easier for homeowners to access their own information and make payments online. There was a learning curve in the beginning, and a few areas could be more customizable, but once everything was set up, the platform became an important part of how we manage the association.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 4/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

PayHOA gives our board one place to manage most of the day-to-day work of the association. We can track homeowner accounts and payments, maintain owner information, communicate with residents, store documents, and keep better records without having to use several different systems. I especially like that homeowners can log in and see their own account information and make payments online. It has made managing a self-managed HOA much easier and gives the board better access to the information we need.

#### Cons

Some areas could be more intuitive, especially when you are first setting up the community or trying to find a specific report or function. There are also places where I would like more flexibility in customizing reports, notices, and association workflows. Once you learn where everything is, it works well, but certain tasks take more clicks than I would expect.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

PayHOA offered the best combination of features, ease of use, and value for a self-managed HOA. It gave us the tools we needed for homeowner accounts, online payments, communications, property records, violations, documents, and financial tracking in one platform. We also found the homeowner portal straightforward to use, which was important because we wanted residents to be able to access their own account information without having to contact the board for routine questions. Compared with the other products we considered, PayHOA felt like the best fit for the way our association actually operates.

#### Vendor response

Wow, thanks so much for the detailed review, Julie! It sounds like you're getting a lot of great value from the PayHOA platform. We're happy to hear it's making the day-to-day management of your community much easier, as that is exactly the point. We've got a lot of AI functionality coming down the pipe that I think will really help with some of the customization you're looking for. Stay tuned for more on that!

PayHOA is an all in one platform that helps us have control and oversight over our community management. This has allowed us to expand other services by saving our members close to $20k a year.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 4/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

PayHOA is a simple platform, but it has so much to offer. It has allowed our community to be self managed as opposed to using a property management company which was charging us an absorbant amount monthly. We are now saving close to $20k a year since swithing. The bank integrations makes transaction posting an reconciliations a breeze. We not longer have an accountant as the software is so user friendly, we are able to do the bookkeeping ourselves.

#### Cons

Nothing. In over two years of use, we have not had any issues or concerns with PayHOA. If anything, it is that we didn't find it sooner.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

PayHOA was the easiest to use and had to most features that we needed for the community. The other platforms were more expensive and did not provide the support we were looking for.

#### Vendor response

Hi Coley - reviews like this make our day. Our goal is to make your lives as volunteers easier and help you save money so you can do more for your community. We're so happy to hear you've been able to save so much and that the software has been easy for everyone to use. Glad to have you as part of the PayHOA community!

#### Ratings breakdown

#### Pros

Platform is easy to use, Excellent Technical Support, Efficient HOA Platform for a small (45 homes in our community) Self managed Community, good value of money based on the features provided by the payHOA Software Platform

#### Cons

Certain Available Features are hard to find- example creating a template for Violation, had to navigate through the Software to figure out on how to create a Template, Voting Ballot Description Text box should have formatting capabilities, finding calendar (Events) is not very intuitive, needs to be the one of the easily available option on the left side bar, I don't seem to see an electronic payment option to the HOA Vendor, wish there was one, if there is one I am not able to find it

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

Reliability, more features, large body of positive user reviews on major independent software review sites like Capterra and G2 and our own independent analysis determined that PayHOA is a better fit for our community aligning with the recommendations of the Budget committee members.

Hey Prashant, Thanks for the great review (on both Capterra and G2). We're glad PayHOA has been easy to use and a good value for your community, and that our support team has been there when you needed it. We're biased, but they're the best. Your feedback on user experience and findability is really helpful, and we've passed this along to our product team. On electronic vendor payments, that's something we're actively building, so stay tuned. In the meantime, our Knowledge Base (intercom.help/payhoa) walks through templates, and many other features at your own pace, and our support team (support@payhoa.com) is happy to point you to anything that's tricky to find. Appreciate you being part of the PayHOA community, and thanks again for helping spread the word.

I am happy and transitioning another 4 associations to this program. (especially since my former platform raised its monthly fee to $140)

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

Payhoa is very intuitive to use, and friendly for this kind of business. I used a "blanket accounting software" before but it was an incomplete solution for an HOA. Now I have all I need under one login.

#### Cons

In the interest of being truthful, I didn't complete the training. I'm sure there are tasks I'm currently doing that could be done more efficiently or more easily, and I'd be interested in learning those. I just haven't had the opportunity to finish the training yet.

#### Reasons for choosing PayHOA

Correct pricing, A local representative who can offer support if I need help with a quick question.

#### Reasons for switching to PayHOA

Price and ease to use. Besides having the opportunity to grant access to the owner's individual ledgers.

#### Vendor response

Hi David - we love that you're doing the training, but are already using the platform. Our goal is for the software to be easy to use, but provide all the features you need, so we hope you continue to get things done more and more efficiently as you learn the platform. If you ever need any help, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team. They're here to help. Welcome to PayHOA!

PayHOA gives our small beach community a value added, saving us thousands of board member hours dealing with minutia and helps ensure positive accounting. The platform is a total game-changer for our self-managed community, making daily operations less stressful. This software works so well for us in several ways including: •Ease of Use & User Interface: The system is incredibly easy to use. The clean user interface makes finding tools and navigating menus simple for everyone on our board. •Property Management: Routine property management tasks are now completely automated. Tracking maintenance requests and sending out community announcements takes just a few clicks. •Information Access: Homeowners have 24/7 information access. They can view their balances and community documents anytime through their private portals. This centralized information means board members no longer waste time hunting through scattered paper files or private emails, which dramatically drops the number of daily administrative questions for the board. •Bank Reconciliation: Doing a bank reconciliation used to take hours of manual work. Now, the bank syncs automatically to keep all our financials aligned. •Customer Support: We are new to PayHOA and when we encounter obstacles, the customer support team is helpful. They provide clear, rapid guidance to get thing resolved. Having less than 30 units means a reduction in what was a massive administrative burden. Once initial community data is uploaded, PayHOA transformed our SOPs – allowing the board more time to address bigger issues. When board roles change, the next volunteer instantly can inherits a complete digital history. Every board member has identical, real-time visibility into finances, keeping everyone aligned without manual reporting. This seems to be a game changer to bring this small, outdated community into a new era.

Overall, our experience with PayHOA has been very positive. As a self-managed homeowners association, we needed a solution that would simplify our day-to-day operations without creating additional work for our volunteer board members. PayHOA has met those expectations by providing an organized, easy-to-use platform for managing homeowner information, collecting dues, tracking payments, and communicating with residents. The automation features have reduced administrative tasks and improved the consistency of our processes. While there is room for improvement in customer support and the addition of a mobile app, those shortcomings have not outweighed the benefits. We would confidently recommend PayHOA to other HOAs looking for an affordable and effective management solution.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 3/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

We've been very happy with PayHOA since implementing it for our homeowners association. The platform is intuitive and easy for both board members and homeowners to use. It has significantly reduced the amount of manual work involved in collecting dues, tracking payments, and maintaining homeowner records. The online payment options and automatic reminders have helped improve on-time payments, while the reporting tools make it easy to monitor our finances and prepare for board meetings. Customer support has also been responsive whenever we've had questions. Overall, PayHOA has streamlined our administrative tasks, improved communication with homeowners, and made managing our HOA much more efficient. It has been a worthwhile investment that has saved our volunteer board a considerable amount of time and effort.

#### Cons

While we've had an overall positive experience with PayHOA, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The biggest frustration has been customer support. When we need assistance, it can be difficult to reach someone in a timely manner, and resolving issues sometimes takes longer than we would like. Another drawback is the lack of a dedicated mobile app. Although the website works on a mobile browser, a native app would make it much more convenient for both board members and homeowners to manage accounts, make payments, receive notifications, and access information while on the go. Adding a mobile app and improving the accessibility and responsiveness of customer support would significantly enhance an already solid platform.

#### Vendor response

Hi Brian, Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. It's good to hear that your overall experience has been very positive and PayHOA has helped streamline your administrative work, improve communication, and increase efficiency. We are sorry to hear about your trouble reaching support in a timely manner. I realize this response is also delayed, but if you continue to have issues, please don't hesitate to reach out to me directly at julie@payhoa.com. Slow responses is not the experience we want any of our customers to have. A mobile app is also great feedback and something we've heard before. We are consistently trying to improve the platform and hearing these requests from customers is important in building our roadmap. Thank you again for sharing your experience, it's helpful and we hope PayHOA can serve you even better in the future.

Our experience with PayHOA has been extremely positive from the initial onboarding through day-to-day use. The platform is easy to use, the customer support has been exceptional, and the savings compared to our previous management solution have been significant. It's been an excellent fit for our self-managed HOA.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 4/5

#### Pros

We recently transitioned our 12-unit HOA to PayHOA after moving away from a traditional property management company, and the experience has been excellent. The onboarding process was smooth, well organized, and exceeded our expectations. Whenever we had questions, the PayHOA support team was quick to respond, scheduled meetings when needed, and provided personalized walkthroughs to ensure we were comfortable using the platform. One of the biggest benefits has been the value for the money. By switching to PayHOA, our HOA is saving more than $5,000 per year while still providing our homeowners with features such as online payments, an owner portal, financial reporting, document management, and community communications. For a small self-managed association, it's difficult to find another solution that offers this level of functionality at such an affordable price. The software itself is intuitive and easy to learn. Both board members and homeowners have been able to navigate the system with very little training, which made the transition much easier than we anticipated. Tasks that previously required manual effort or assistance from a management company can now be completed quickly through the platform. Overall, PayHOA has delivered an outstanding combination of affordability, ease of use, responsive customer support, and comprehensive features. Based on our experience, we would confidently recommend it to other self-managed HOAs looking to reduce costs while improving efficiency and homeowner engagement.

#### Cons

As a new customer, we really haven't encountered any significant drawbacks. If I had to identify an area for improvement, it would simply be that the platform offers so many features that it takes a little time to learn where everything is located. Fortunately, the onboarding process and responsive customer support made that learning curve very manageable.

#### Vendor response

Hi Kurt, thank you for the review! We love hearing from new customers and are so happy that your experience has exceeded your expectations so far. Our goal is for the platform to be easy to use with all the features you need at an affordable price. We love that we can help you save money with PayHOA while receiving everything you need. You've already reached out to support, but please don't hesitate to contact us again if you need any help finding features or capabilities in the future. We're here to help and hope to work with you for many more years in the future. Welcome to the PayHOA community!

We switched from a HOA management company to PayHOA and not only saved several thousand dollars, but found that accessing information and getting things done was much easier.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5
- Functionality: 5/5

#### Pros

I appreciate that PayHOA is much more economical for our small community compared to the HOA management company we initially used. As the treasurer, I find it solves critical problems like keeping accurate accounting for each household, sending annual invoices, and tracking late fees. I also use PayHOA to pay vendors and to create 1099 forms during tax season, which adds great value. The most valuable aspect for me is the reports and reconciliation features, which make it easy to show the board how money is being accounted for. Additionally, I love their responsiveness whenever I have a problem or question. The setup was pretty easy, even though I'm not a finance person. They offer a lot of assistance to get started. In addition PayHOA has a lot more to offer with features we haven't utilized yet.

#### Cons

I access PayHOA on a PC which works great. There are times however whereit would be convenient to have a PayHOA app for taking a quick look at a household account or a vendors payment status.

#### Vendor response

Mark, I just responded to your other review on G2. Awesome to see this great feedback in both places. We love seeing our previous testimonials show up again and again. Thanks for all you have done and continue to do in sharing the good word about PayHOA. -Earl Laing, VP of Marketing

It has been extremely positive. The issues that we had with our management companies have been eradicated since we went to self-management, and that wouldn't be possible without a good, all-in-one platform like PayHOA.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5

It was very easy to onboard, to get our residents to buy into using the platform, and from there to use the platform as a self-managed HOA board without any misses. We were also able to find long-standing billing errors that our previous management companies missed.

#### Cons

The user interface is a little clunky and feels a little dated, but not so much so that it's an issue. The mass communications tools can be tricky for some of our users, but we've also used it effectively.

#### Vendor response

Brad, It's great to hear that PayHOA has been a part of your journey to self-management and it's been a solid all-in-one platform for you. While AI is helpful for simple questions, having access to knowledgeable live support agents who understand the nuances of HOA management has been invaluable.

The software has made almost all of the HOA's processes more efficient and effective at a reasonable cost. The Financial tools have simplified the Treasurer's tasks the most, but all Board members duties are less burdensome.

#### Ratings breakdown

- Ease of use: 5/5
- Value for money: 5/5
- Customer support: 5/5

#### Pros

PayHOA’s financial tools have made annual dues collection, budget development and expense tracking far more efficient than our previous methods. These tools clearly have made the Treasurer’s job much more manageable, while also allowing the budgeting process to be far mor collaborative. The request tools have greatly improved our process for home owners to submit special requests such as Architectural Committee Review and Reimbursement Requests. This process is simple, but provides excellent tracking of all submissions and their current status.

#### Cons

There is a small learning for new Board Members to become proficient in using the software. The general communication tools allow only one way communication (Board to Residents)

#### Vendor response

Hi Phil, thanks for the great review! Our mission is to make a difficult, volunteer job easier, and it's always good to hear from customers who have had a good experience with the platform.
