Timesheets.com provides cloud-based time tracking for small and midsize businesses. The service allows employers to track both hourly time for payroll and project time for billing.

Employers can also track reimbursable expenses, employee schedules and human resources (HR) documents. The mobile version allows users to track time and expenses remotely.

Time off and accruals can be managed through time-off requests, a time-off calendar, usage tracking and reporting. HR features include document management and communication tools. Time can be exported to QuickBooks and other payroll and accounting packages. Other integrations include Paychex, ADP, SurePayroll, Ceridian, Gusto and more.

Pricing is per user per month. Timesheets.com offers phone, chat, email and text message support.

Pros

What I really like best about Timesheets.com is how accessible and user-friendly this software is. I have had no problems using this software for business use. I also really like that the Customer Service is very helpful whenever we have any problems or delays. It's not that common to have Customer Service representatives go out of their way to help and support you when encountering an issue with their software, but the customer service reps at Timesheets.com go way above and beyond to make you feel like an appreciated customer--even after the issue has been addressed and fixed.

Cons

There wasn't anything we disliked, and our company decided to try something else based on a recommendation from them. If we have to say something that wasn't helpful. I would have to say that it did not correctly track vacation hours. But it is possible that it offered that option, but we were unable the option. I really just done have anything negative to say about it.

Saves time, keeps track of things in an easy to view way.

Pros

The software is easy to use, very intuitive, and has all of the pieces I personally need to track my time, as well as the functions we as a team need for all of our team members time tracking and payroll.

Cons

This software doesn't have a mobile app which is bad when you forget to clock out and just want to be able to quickly get on your phone and do it.

My employees are able to very simply clock in and out, but I can do almost anything with the information their time punches provide. Many reports to run. Timesheets.com can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be as the administrator/payroll.

Pros

It's really simple for first time users and people that haven't used a time clock before. I love the interface and how easy it is for employees to punch in and out.

Cons

There are a few functions of the software that haven't been intuitive to me in the user process. Running custom reports, entering in employee schedules, setting up holidays, for example. However, I've always contacted customer support and they help me through my question within minutes. The answer is generally quite simple, but if I hadn't contacted support I wouldn't have gotten to the answer nearly as fast.

Our users find the software easy to navigate and use. The software is also easy for our administrators to set up new users .

Cons

When we run monthly payroll and employees are paid for a portion of a work week, they can no longer see how many hours they worked that week. This makes it more difficult to track overtime.

We like the geolocation aspect, shutting outany log ins from other locations. Alert system for the supervisor to know when employees need correction on time entry.

Cons

Pulling in late time entry in the current pay period, the way the date comes in, covers the whole time period vs the current pay and the day that is being included.

The customer service is excellent. They spend time working through questions and assist in finding simple solutions. The program is easy to navigate and has loads of options and information.

Cons

It takes a bit of time to go through all of the information. With limited time to "learn" a program it is a bit intimidating.

Reducing time on admin, increasing management and project time.

Pros

Being able to manage leave accounts by staff instead of manual company submissions.
Having a team dashboard showing work status of each individual
Using work calendar - we replaced our Company calendar with Timesheet scheduling
Easy expense logging - we replaced using another app for this with Timesheets
Brilliant support with a real person to discuss how to best use Timesheets

Cons

Being a strongly rules based product, a list of rules under Tools would be great. Mobile entry can be quicker and faster. Having a total project cost report (time+expenses) to close out projects upon completion would really add value.

Was speedy in getting results and easy to understand! I am trying to be supportive and respond to this feedback but a turn off is the 100 word minimum. If I am asked to participate in another and it has the same requirement, I will most likely opt out.

I complete payroll and track employee/contractor volumes by form reviewed.

Pros

I like that there is always help when I do need it. Very problem-solving oriented support team! I have only positive experiences every time I have either a simple or complex question. They take the time to try and understand my business and the underlying goal that I'm trying to accomplish.

Cons

The only thing I don't love is that we use the supervisor feature so that our contractors can see their rates per piece - but that leaves me a little vulnerable. Since they are input as supervisors, they can also change the rates on me. I bet we are unique in requiring this feature for non-supervisors, however.

I have just finished my free trial with Timesheets. I was very impressed by the customer service. I had put some items in wrong and they were extremely helpful. I had a rep call me 3 times to make sure I had everything I needed. She walked me through the changes. I wish all companies operated this way!

Cons

I have just started so have not found anything wrong. This is a technical thing but I wish the IP address was for each specific computer and not just the companies address. I know I could get the camera security to take a picture but we don't have cameras on the computers for that option. Otherwise, no cons!
