It is easier to build pretty reports without installing extra software such as SSRS and licensing is cheaper than SSRS.

Setting up the initial data connections is tricky. However, once that's configured there is not a lot of maintenance needed.

The reliability of the Google Sheets integration is quite bad. Especially huge queries tend to fail quite often and sometimes incremental refreshes are screwing up.

When you sign up for a service, you place trust in a company that any issue like this will be solved easily and fairly. And with many SAAS companies that is the case.

Can take some time to learn how to use the software. If a query errors it does take some time to investigate why.

Supermetrics is like the Clickfunnels of reporting software. Eeryone is spruiking it to claim that sweet affiliate kickback money but is it the best solution.

There are occasional bugs and glitches that can make it a little frustrating. Date ranges can occasionally jump around.

It provides built in integrations from most known marketing tools (Facebook, Google Ads and Bing Ads) directly to Google Sheets and Excel.

The initial set-up is rather awkward and it can be very difficult to work out what to fix if it stops working for whatever reason.

The setup is comprehensive, there's a bunch of handy templates, it makes reporting a breeze.

I am routinely frustrated to find that my daily queries have been failing for a week or more without notifying me. Twitter, Youtube, and Instagram all give me issues with this.
