Used for a few years - Switched to something better
I think the initial presentation and set-up went well. Someone came to our location to help us get started with the software - but it was expensive , not included in purchase. Once software was implemented, the customer and technical service became very poor. We typically only ever heard from 1 or 2 different people from the company, which lead us to believe they did not have enough staff to help with technical support - which is what they told us they did have.PROS
The price point of the software was what really caught the attention to purchase. It seemed like we were getting the same amount of features for a much better price.CONS
The service/follow up & quirks in the system. We were sold on this being a system that came with customer service that was easily available. This did not turn out to be the case. We would have issues that would not be resolved for weeks to months at a time. Often we thought it was because they (customer service/tech) did not know the answers to resolve the problems. Near the end of using the software, it would not be uncommon to go weeks without even a return call. Very frustrating as we were then in situations sometimes with customers of ours and unable to explain certain things.
Reason for choosing WallacePOS
The price point. But we ended up going with the more expensive brand after about 4-6 years because we had no help with major issues.
