The software is very simple to use initially, but has some fun tricks you can pick up on with repeated use. It's very well organized, and has a lot of strong built-in tools.

Overall, the software does a decent job taking information, running it through current tax law, and inputting on forms. I like how it integrates with Engagement.

I love that you usually can figure out how the software is calculating by using the F1 help function.

I have found this to be one of the best tax preparation software's that I have used and even though it is more costly than most others, it is a good value.

Tax is complicated so I get that they can't program fro everything that may come up but sometimes it is a struggle to get simple things right.

They were always working on it and adding new features. Support people were very good on the phone.

Glitches in software calculation abound. Lack of knowledge of support...if you actually are able to get to a live person on the phone.

I like that you can do more with this software than other tax programs.

This may cause the entire Microsoft Suite to lock up or freeze, which can create severe issues if the user is not diligent in saving their work.

Functionality is better than most of the other tax software out there, navigation to frequently used items is decent. Read the cons, but this is still likely the best option out there.

They even have an estimate you can do before you file that will tell you about what your looking at which was awesome.

The price is a little steep and if not using for multiple returns its hard to justify the cost of it.

We have had a positive experience with Proseries Tax.

Once you purchase the software, they automatically sign you up for auto-renewal, and don't let you turn it off. They give you a phone number to call that is available during limited hours.

What did you like most about this software is that it is very userfriendly and an easy tool for those familiar with turbotax.

I'm sure you've seen all their TurboTax and QuickBooks commercials and advertising. Those are the products they care about.

Costs and the fact that they made me pay for something I wasn't going to use until the following year.

Overall we like Intuit's software product, but as our practice grew we needed a more fully integrated product.

The professional version can be used with the Quickbooks integration which makes it very easy to use and import data if you are already using the Quickbooks software.

The software is very user friendly and easy to navigate (when it is running smoothly without glitches). The software guides and prompts you while completing forms.

Robust software that provides a straight forward easy to use interface for tax preparation across all 50 states and the IRS.

ProSeries Professional seems to be having more problems than they have had in the past. Trying to get through to their tech support is terrible.

We now use Drake for, I kid you not, less than a 1/4 of the cost. IT IS ASTRONOMICALLY BETTER.

Slow loading maybe, if I have to come up with something. Probably just for to poor networking though.
