Pros/Cons
Pros
- We migrated from TeamViewer and one of the best business decisions we have made as a young growing company. We are very happy with the product.
- Very good overall and would recommend. Their partnership with BrightGauge needs lots of improvement from the reporting side, but ScreenConnect itself has been very good.
- Overall I have been pleased with the use of screen connect. Its a great mostly reliable tool and would love to use it in the future and recommend its use.
Cons
- However the fact that a large portion of my machines have lost connection and had to be manually reinstalled was very frustrating and ultimately is why we left that platform for RD.
- Sometimes i accidentally X out of the screen, I click out of the wrong window.
- The worst part, which is minor is the amount of customisation and branding.
Pros
- This software is a lifesaver for any kind of tech support. It's a super easy and secure way to help my clients with their computer IT problems without needing to be there physically.
- I love when clients have access to this software because it it a great way to have remote meetings and can be accessed on various workstations. Perfect for my hectic schedule and on the go lifestyle.
- I like the possibilities and simplicity. It's an excellent software to help collegues and customers.
Cons
- Unstable internet connection: some times the connections are lost. I can not control other devices in my local network without an internet connection.
- There are several features that could be dangerous if in the wrong hands. TeamViewer is often used in Tech Support Scams.
- Sometimes it lags and cause interruption while using this. And also there are some other software which gives more functionality than this.
