My institution purchased Altru for its strong philanthropy functions, and required all departments to use it. I use it for scheduling school outreach programs.

From what I can see, this software looks like it could be a great tool for some applications.

The interface is intimidating and confusing for my staff, and requires a lot of training to use.

The financial and revenue setup can be intimidating, since there's a general ledger behind all the sales and revenue transactions.

Altru has a wonderful feature of copying appointments and holding them for you to reschedule. I love how there is a database of clients and you can easily search for them.

We have been with Altru for over three years and in that time have seen constant improvement and updates to the product. Their support staff is the best I have ever seen with any software company.

Ease of use for an entry-level user. The system has an incredible ability to capture and relate data.

We now have the ability to get a true look at all the ways our constituents are interacting with our organization.

Because the Altru community is very responsive and the fact that the developers listen to the client's concerns, I am confident that Altru will become greater than it is now.

I think the navigation on Altru can be a bit tricky.

The two main issues I have is there is no exchange process, only a refund with a receipt. That is not exceptable in.

I love the amount that you can do on Altru and that it can all be done in one place.

Altru is direct and straight to the point. It has a places to include a lot of information which can be good for creating thorough profiles.

The canned reports aren't always easy to manipulate when downloaded while the queries can be difficult for those not using them on a regular basis.

For frontline staff, the user interface for ticketing is easy to use and very intuitive. Training staff is so much more pleasant with this software.

We are still learning which is great. The capacity of the system is rich.

I also really am impressed and appreciate the customer support. Since I'm fairly new to Altru, I have a lot of questions.

I enjoy the ability to navigate different ways to get the same result, it helps with training people who learn and think in different patterns.

Completely cloud based, and allows unlimited user licenses at no extra charge, so you can sell tick.

I also don't like how when you check in a group it automatically submits their payment (box is checked automatically). If you don't remember to uncheck it there is no way to undo it.

Sales Orders are too rigid - need to be able to edit and add appeal codes.

Altru is a very detailed system and it covers so many areas that have so many intertwining cogs that it can be difficult to navigate for some users and it can be a bit cumbersome.

I love that Altru is constantly receiving updates and that the customer service team really does listen to feedback from the customers.

I also think the customer service is wonderful and always available - which is great. I also really appreciate that the system is very intuitive.

As I mean it is great for the money if you are looking to have a tool to maintain unlimited accounts, but that is really the only true good aspect of it.

Some integration with on-line banking is not yet working well. Sometime the processing seems slow but this could be our internet.

It is a great all around management program for any organization.

When pulling results, it only pulls primary information and if the information is not loaded correctly, it can be a problem.

There is so much functionality. I love that rebooking is so easy as are refunds and amending bookings and payments.

Above all, I want to reach an international audience, which has been improved by fareharbor in an attractive way.

The product more than delivered on this aim and has given some added value boosts through integration with the likes of Google, TripAdvisor etc.

So far so good, happy to use it and great team behind, helping us to improve our business online.

The ability to save a portion of each payment to cover refunds is especially useful.

Now Fare Harbor is single handedly destroying what we worked so hard for. I have spoken with several representatives of the company.

It's a great benefit to having three different departments' events processed through one system. The biggest challenge we face with it now is wanting it to speak to other systems.

We do receive some complains from our customers about extra fee using FareHarbor, but that has nothing to do with the overall experience.

I can not cancel the whole tour, but need to cancel every customer singular. That means if I need to cancel a tour with 40 people I need to cancel every single customer.

There is also the inability to delete several bookings for the contact during the same Order. This is annoying and time consuming when the order has 10+ bookings.

The team at FareHarbor made the transition to their product super easy. They listened to our requirements and configured the product to accommodate everything required.

They made a awesome website. Besides that, they gave good advice and were always very kind and helpful.
