My overall experience with Camtasia was definitely positive but the software was too complicated for me to invest time into learning it.

It provides many functionality to users to edit videos immediately and add effects and filters on it. I believe Camtasia studio is well worth the cost software due to its many options and simplicity.

Camtasia comes with a Screen Recorder that is integrated with the editor. After recording, you have the option to auto create a Camtasia project and add the recorded video to it.

It is a very robust and stable product. You can create awesome videos with Camtasia.

Overall, I've had a great experience with Camtasia. I've used it for a few years now and really don't need anything else to create the videos I need for customers and our support teams.

I love the integration with PowerPoint and it makes my work creating videos for my e-learning site so much easier. Screen recording is great as well as recording from PowerPoint slide shows.

I like how camtasia has an easy-to-learn interface, it's very uncomplicated to do a good video editing.

I do not use it to produce blockbuster movies but simple instructional videos and recordings of lessons. For this purpose, it is easy to use, has enough options, and is quite stable and fast.

Some instructors are hesitant and get a bit frustrated when trying to learn the platform theirselves.

It is extremely hard to use and I felt like I needed a encyclopedia in order to figure it out. Loads of little buttons that have no direction.

The cost-benefit ratio seems very good to me. I definitely recommend it.

The result is very large files that I have moved to external hard drives. Importing them from there was cumbersome but feasible.

There is limitations of Text templates there is no professional transitions for videos and images. There is no lower third templates.

I have been able to make awesome videos for my youtube channel thanks to camtasia and my overall experience has been great.

Camtasia studio is easy to learn and it has simple user interface. It is very popular for its screen recordings feature because it provide neat and professional quality result.

And a bank of free videos and sounds that make intros and outros very easy. Integration with PowerPoint is fantastic.

Camtasia has a limited keyboard controls and also they missing many commands which make their keyboard commands weak and poor.

Make a video like a pro with all the fancy trasitions and effects, annotations and transitions. Record your screen in an awesome way with just the click of a button and edit them easily.

Sometimes I need to be exact when cutting and splicing a video or audio and I miss one or two steps of zooming-out the media. The software was freezing on a laptop without a graphics card (rarely).

In that case I wouldn't have to create a preview of the video to find out if the sound is on sync with the different clips.

How easy and fast it is to create a good enough video and with som design skills and good content you can make it great.

That the intro-slides don't have the option to choose smaller font sizes and more characters. Sometimes (in certain languages) intro-slides are hard to use since words are too long and will be cut.

Sometimes hard to get own photos in as I dont understand sizes I should use.

Easy to use and great stock of images and templates. Great customer service and continuous development of new features.

Love that you can drag and drop assets into the asset library and that you can use parts of videos/sequences as assets without having to cut the video before you drag it into the asset library.

It is easy to use and easy to get started. You have the option to customise and choose your on assets to create branded content.

Using Storykit is one of my favourite tasks at work. It is  fun to use and the result is usually great.

We have had some problems with the publishing feature, from time to time.

Great way to produce fast and high quality content for all channels, including inhouse office screens. Great team and nice people at Storykit (eg good customer service).

You don'n need to be skilled in video creation. They have easy guides to get started, many templates to choose from and the support is fast in responding if needed.

Time-saving, easy to use, fun, cost-saving. You don't need to be a video expert or a digital native to be able to create videos.

And maybe there could be a membership that allows the user to upload custom fonts without haveing to send them in to Storykit and pay for it every time. Another con i typography adjustments.

The second thing is that you have a generous music library though it takes quite some time to find good free music and download yourself.

The onboarding and the support are 10 out of 10 and together with an easy to use product I would recommend anyone with a message to share to go with Storykit. You will be up and running in no time.

It is easy to get your story out with both text and video with Storykit. It is also cost effective to do it inhouse.

Super helpful staff, a lot of inspiration and learning included. This tool makes it very easy to create videos, and also inspires to more content creating, even beyond the video format.
