An extra step isn't bad when I'm only doing a few changes. But, with many changes it is frustrating.

Our IT attempt at the church lost the December backup off the flash drive, but there seemed to be 223 KB data base on Version 6, where as we had installed Version 7.

Servant keeper does a great job like most church data management softwares at helping integrate all of your needs into one program.

Very limited functionality. Especially with the search functions.

Sometimes forget where to look for something, just frustrating.

If you use a Mac you can find ways to make it work but you will have consistent headaches in doing so. Limited features compared to its main competitors.

Something I was trying to delay until after the new year because of all the work I had done that was saved in SK and other non related files pertaining to donations and expenses.

It is true to its name and very easy to use. Overall, I recommend this product to any church organization in helping to build God's Kingdom with ease.

Several weeks ago, I spoke with someone on the help desk and she was very pleasant, one of the only times, I have experienced  such a delightful experience.

I personally like the overall way the program performs. The ease of use of initial setup and the week to week use is fairly simple.

We LOVE using Servant Keeper at our small church. I have worked with several databases at other locations, and this one is the best for your money.

In the almost seven years I have used it, I think I have called for technical assistance only two or three times. My issues were resolved in a timely and helpful manner.

One thing I would suggest, when you offer training is to offer a discount for those who have purchased the help desk, cloud. Or at least offer it for the first year of purchasing a software upgrade.

And the help desk is great in explaining my needs.

Sarah was very helpful in locating hidden files that we would not have found ourselves and will be sending our data in an email for Version 7. She also made me a short cut for my desktop.

It's ease of running reports and I am super excited about its integration with eventbrite.

If you have any problems when installing the upgrade from Version 6 to Version 7, I recommend you call Sarah at the help desk.

Easy to enter financial donations. Easy to generate reports to track donations by categories, as well as progress in meeting pledges.

Running reports is easy. Overall, Servant Keeper provides a nice sampling of features for church management.

So many features for census software for a catholic church, you can build keyword reports, financial record keeping is simple and customer service is so easy to use when you have on demand.

Absolutely love it - very easy to use and learn.

The reports are absolutely the worst. There is the capability to run reports, but the process of selecting fields, building, and running a report is terrible.

It has built in accounting and I can schedule liturgical ministers. It helps us to organize members and donations.

Other than a data base this software does not do much more. Pulling a report is hard and sending emails is not easy.

Sometimes it freezes up - not sure if it is the internet or the program since I use On Demand.

Good for Catholic parishes, but needs some work to stay relevant.

Planning Center Online is the top contender of all CHMS I have looked into - with far more functionality, customizability, and features of all kinds beyond what PDS can offer.

The reports are terrible. There are literally hundred of fields to choose from, many of which are the same field worded differently (i.e. Father name, Father full name, Head name, Member 1 name...).

It is slow, out dated, does not optimize with updated versions of Windows, it is difficult to use and the systems do not collaborate with each other.

It can get the job done only if you have a very low bar set for what you want the software to accomplish.

Want a program that was cutting edge for Windows 97.

I felt like the easiest thing to do, to be really honest was logging into the system.

Notes tracking is lacking. There is no way to insert a note that will stay without it having the potential of it being deleted.

It is organized by family, rather than individual (like Catholic churches organize records). If you have questions, someone is available by phone to help solve issues.
