It is a slow, clunky mess. It is just beyond words how bad it is until you use something that actually works.

The Accounting tab is wonderful it allows the user to check the the status of the jobs and where the budget is. It links with date trackers and lets you know how long before a lien is due.

The software is deep and had a lot of functionality. The more we use it, the more it helps us and the more valuable it becomes.

The app for our field team was HORRIBLE. Lacked integration other than Quickbooks.

Dash has glitches sometimes, and customer service can be a little difficult to get a hold of sometimes.

Easy to start projects/files, easy to upload photos. I do appreciate the interface that allows me to check on my projects with ease.

We are forced to have this in order to report our sales.

You have to press enter in order to be able to write your notes and see what one is writing, cannot upload videos ,  mobile version is hard to see any documents, always getting error messages.

I like that they offer training through DASH University and they break it down by job title/role.

The Mobile App is hit or miss when it comes to photos.

Like that you can write notes and upload pictures, you can only upload 10 pics at a time, like that it lets you know if it uploaded correctly and if it didn’t the job will turn red.

And there are days were u can log in but it just sits and spins while the person next to them is on and working. Creates a lot of frustration with the employees in the field daily.

The time it takes to load pictures, the complexity that it has in terms of finding info, and also the log in is not normal has bugs we have complained and its yet to be fixed.

They had an old version out which needed alot of work so instead of fixing the problem they replaced the mobile software with something worse. Its honestly not good at all.

Also they are money hungry. When I cancelled they charged me an extra month.

Customer support is friendly and helpful. We should know as we are in regular touch with them.

Taking pictures through the application kept crashing as well and often pictures were lost. Alot of lagging on the online platform, happened frequently.

So far the team at Next Gear Solutions has been very helpful. They have been willing to help with setup and adapted the system to the way we do business.

When it works it can provide a good amount of help to all.

The poor method in which this program is written is unbelievable for this day and age.

Cost, user issues constantly, the fact it wont track equipment as a primary part of the platform is ridiculous.

I finally lost it with them when they sold out to the insurance companies.

DASH was built by consultants to the restoration industry. It has comprehensive functionality, an easy to use mobile app and great support.

Working with xactanalysis to report to and complete tasking within the two programs has been nice.

I have been using this software for at about 10 years. I was on board when they first started and at the time it was a good product...because nothing else was out there.

You find out later when you cannot upload anything. Then everything you entered is lost to turn it back to the online setting.

We have employed estimators that have used other competitors products, such as HCSS in the past. Once they use Sharpesoft, they are amazed with how easy it is to use and how powerful the software is.

We have yet to come upon a feature or service that we feel the need to complain about.

So far no real cons on this program however I am only 4-6 months in using the program.

Ease of use and training required are bigger cost factors than the software cost.

We have acquired over $500 Million dollars worth of work using Sharpesoft Estimator.

The scope of work report and formatting is not the easiest to use.

The ability to build crews and assemblies for recurring items of work.

The personal and live demo that SharpeSoft offered was very helpful for us. Their training was and continues to be top-notch.

There's no program for diary/timecard tracking against estimated/budgeted costs.

Analysing changes and alternatives is quick and accurate. Easy to archive estimates for quick crew and cost retrieval.

I have only been using Sharpsoft for less than a year, however it seems user friendly and the customer service is great as well.

What I particularly enjoy is the trench profile program within the estimating software.

Allows you to do estimates quickly and efficiently. Easy to print out reports.

The developers of the software understand our business and have consistently responded swiftly with meaningful updates.

A great tool for estimating and project management.

The time and heartache that I have witnessed trying programs that I was promised worked together has lost my company and other's, employee time and lost revenue.

We were doing all of our estimates by hand originally and this has saved us so much time in all of our bids and we are now able to get out a lot more and stop missing out on bids due.

The ease of building your specific crews and material lists and always having them at the ease of one click is extremely productive.

Way to go SharpeSoft Estimator Keep up the GREAT work.

Ease of use and outstanding support. I believe this software is tailor made for the dirt / heavy civil industry.

I find Estimator easy to use. The support is top notch, I never have to wait for help.

It is a user friendly software and provides everything you would need whether it be the basic or a more complex estimate.

I use Sharpsoft after the estimators have set up the job and prepare the bid to be sent off. I mostly use this for tracking the cost of the job and mark up percentages as well.
