My overall experience with Neos is good. It provides good organization and is easy to maneuver.

Easy to use with different tabs devoted to different aspects of each case. Great organization of documents and information.

I used Needles for over 7 years, and found it to be a very antiquated case management system with a poor user interface and user experience.

I cannot imagine running a personal injury practice without Needles.

The support from the NEOS team is top notch. Pam our support team member has been with us step by step and has been very valuable in assisting us in the set up of our case types.

Additionally it is our HR and equipment management software, providing the flexibility to have everyone in the firm know and use one database product on a daily basis - and this was no extra cost.

Very easy to use and set up, i was part of the implementation team since the beginning , it was a relative easy transition from the old needles to needles neos.

This software is user friendly and it contains so many great features that makes our daily tasks much more feasible.

I like the document management, and the ease of collaborating between firms. I enjoy the Office365 integration.

I like that Needles gives you a lot of reporting capabilities, categories, and checklists to be able to manage cases better.

Once that learning curve was ventured, then it was easier to move through it, however, there were more steps. The help section and webinars are great tools and they have up-ed their game on that.

Self explanatory when you are new to using the software. Easy to understand and to input information.

It is robust in its customization options and is fairly user friendly on the front end.

The merge from Needles was easy and painless. It is intuitive and easy to use.

We believe that this was a good choice for the firm and it very practical due to the fact that its a web base software we can log in everywhere as long as you have internet connection.

Ease of use is a big advantage of this software. Integrations are very helpful with outlook and sharepoint.

If you are considering moving to Needles, though, there is no reason not to go straight to version 5.

They have a great support staff. I have talked to the same people for years.

Commonsense things are missing from this platform. The system relies on and appears to be limited by Microsoft 365, which itself can be spotty.

We have solved document turnaround (docusign), settlement memos, and case tracking with this software. It has truly been a great help to our practice.

Everything went seamlessly and the support staff was WONDERFUL and answered all our questions timely. It was a smooth, easy transition.

Of the Neos platform is bundling all-things 365 together through a sleek looking display. The other 10% that you would expect Neos to have incorporated and built-in is missing.

Overall it is a great experience with Needles and setting up easily and quickly.

Using Needles Neos provides disappointment and frustration at every turn. It is currently in beta quality, and the workflows are unintuitive and time consuming.

Great Reporting, Case Management but tricky forms customization.

I love it's flexibility, and the sheer amount of customization that is available within the program and through external connections via ODBC and now API.

We have only had this software for a year. As Needles has been unable to properly diagnose and resolve this problem, they are now ignoring us.

It allows you to collect and input whatever data you want and you are not nearly as constrained as you are with Trial Works in terms of customization.

I like the daily reminders on each case keeping us current and up to date on all our files. I like the simplicity of the calendar and the integration with Outlook.

Needles tech support took care of everything and was in constant communication with myself during the process. The whole firm also had a easy time figuring out all the tabs and how everything works.

Best Law Firm Case Management Software Out There.

It can be difficult to use data for reports, where some data does not interact usually within the system. It's necessary on our end to use other software to review statistics and to report.

Plus the higher monthly fee. I spoke to 3 provider companies and all were charging more than $5,000, and the day I stopped paying my AS subscription all that work would be lost.

It is very easy to use and navigate. I would recommend this portal to other paralegals.

The calendar is great too. This is miles above any other legal software I have used.

Options for integration with accounting and invoicing software is fairly limited. Learning curve is a bit steeper than other cloud based systems.

Catastrophic customer service and lack of common sense - too bad, it's a promising software.

Integration in our firm was somewhat difficult only due to time constraints; nothing to do with the product itself.

Wonky, outdated interface; poor email integration, and terrible customer support. Clio and Zola Suite both really outshine ActionStep by a mile.

This, in turn, will save the firm a lot of money.

Good visual layout, adding new matters is relatively simple, scratchpad feature is useful.

Search results are limited to 200, no matter how many contacts you have from that city, and you can only see 10 per page, and the results are not sortable; they come in random order.

Adding things can be difficult, it can be very slow and freeze. It is difficult to load letter heads etc if they are not the selected size.

Works from a browser and integrates with GSuite, ASANA etc. Great search and easy to use.

The salespeople were nice and I believe genuine.

Overall, our experience with Actionstep has been great and has made the office much more efficient so that our clients receive top quality work.

The ease of integration between Actionstep and Office software has been very useful. The two programs work seamlessly with each other.

The overall efficiencies of the product are brilliant. Increasing productivity of fee earners and support staff.

This software is intuitive and easy to use. It is logical, very organized and user friendly - similar to using an app on your phone.

The ability to build my practice management system my way, using tools available within Actionstep and also through the integration of other applications.

I like that it keeps all of our records easily accessible without having to pull each file.

Given these problems, we are preparing our exit. It is an economic disaster for us (losses in implementation and losses on invoicing).

The accounts package is comprehensive. The system is very good value for money and you are not locked into an annual contract.

The best feature is the ability for everyone to enter their time contemporaneously.

Having the ability to customize it via workflows is a huge advantage for us. We also use the document merge features very heavily.

We have been using Actionstep for nearly 10 years, relatively trouble-free, and it has proved to be easy to use for new employees, and has met our needs.

I cant say enough about how this software helps to organize our small firm and keeps us on track with respect to keeping track of revenue goals, etc.

Third, this is so simple I fail to understand why it isnt in place.

The support staff is very responsive and will try to thoroughly understand and address the issues for us.

The techo people are not trained in real technical problems and use the excuse of putting something to the 'development' team. I am not sure the development team exists.

The display of the program is good and some of the support team is quite responsive.

The positives far outweigh the few negatives, it's a good and fruitful process automation software.

Setup costs were restrictive to me so I did it myself and I am unaware of some features.

It's good all-in-one-place legal process management with simple ways to assign tasks to partners and associates and to set proper workflows.

I liked the price and the ease of the setup. Since this was my first experience, I don't have anything to compare it to.
