The other difficulty I will mention is their method of verifying the software registration, which has caused us some problems.

I only kept it because I had to pay for it and could not get my money back.

Our store gets extremely busy on Fridays and holidays, and it is critical that we have a reliable, fast and easy POS system to keep our lines moving and our loyal customers happy.

It's quirky to run as a stand alone product for CC processing on OTC transactions at the Front Desk or cafe.

Price is not everything, and looking for a solution that is flawless is not realistic.

Navigation is very simple, and my favorite part is the ability to know stock levels and prices with a quick few keystrokes. Saves tons of time, and in retail settings, time is very important.

Integration with Quickbooks. It looked good on the demo.

It also integrates with and stores data in QuickBooks which provides a powerful, mature platform for product entry, inventory management and reporting.

Customer service support is not available on weekends and should you have an emergency with the software that is a negative.

All around great system and a great company definitely worth giving a look.

My biggest struggle with this software was accurately tracking cost of waste. The only other issue was getting the printing system to work correctly.

When it works it is easy to use. In theory it is a great program...in theory.

Its great for restaurants because it enables communication between the different points.

It has a nice feature to connect directly to your Quickbooks for a small fee, which could also save someone countless hours of work.

And when you did, you were lucky to get one that understood the software enough to help with it.

PC's crash, they hang, and always at the worst time, of course you need to choose your Credit card processor carefully too.

I recommend taking the demo if you have not, it's a great system. The touch screen and receipt printer are amazingly fast, and well worth it.

I like almost all parts.it's very nice design. Also, it has good functionality.

Any errors just happen, the zero process simply fails with no indication of what the cause might be.

Also, at our location we have redundant, load-balanced Internet connections and there have been ongoing problems with our registration being validated to a specific IP address.

Once you have made your selection, be aware that implementation of the POS system is going to be a challenge no matter which one you choose.

Customer service is great, very helpful, and easy to get a hold of.

With every sales import, the database integrity got worse by a few cents. A bug in the integration software messed up our accounting.

But this still does not eliminate a Receipt transaction in Sage 50 to apply the payment. AccuPOS messed up our accounting.

It’s like moving from a Prius, (tried and true) to a Ferrari which is slick perfection. A POS system must be logical and intuitive.

Easy to use application and follow through, also retrieval ability.

ARMS changed all this through excellent software and a proven management philosophy developed by a successful jeweler. There is a reason it's called Advanced Retail Management Systems.

Love the technical support. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Tricky to make corrections. Only about 2 1/2 years into the software and it is still a bit overwhelming with all of the things it can do.

You can monitor your sales and corresponding margins on a dailey basis. An excellent tool to help manage the business.

The software is really easy to use and implement. No doubt customer support is always there to help as well, a reliable software with EMV compatible.

Terrible for your pocket book, training was weak, they changed the software to gouge customers.

Impressive in the ability to customize each module ensuring that the solution is easily adaptable to the organization.

After training, we found out we had problems on the inventory side of the program. We were then told to do a whole different process after a week of onsite training.

There is not much that I dont like about this product.

Powerful  reporting allows us to fine tune our business. Simple easy to use screens.

I'm trying hard, but I can't think of anything I don't like.

The software is over priced, hard to use, complicated, and I have not got to the worst parts yet. We paid a tech to come to our location for a week and train our employees.

We have reduces aged stock by 80% and our stock takes are very easy to complete and the results amazing. We use all reports for analysis, incentive bonus's and trend tracking.

It also allows us to keep an eye on our slower selling items so we can be more proactive about turning this stock over before it starts costing us money.

Excellent reporting and ability to save to excel or pdf.
