Celerant is a very good POS system that provided a quick and easy way to track sales and inventory when used correctly.

The integration is great as many of our customers shop all of our stores so having access to accurate customer data allows us to better serve our customers.

Metrics suffer from an identity crisis, with different labels scattered across the system, causing confusion between barcode variations, product styles, and inventory classification.

With them still owing me a module for the website and another for a mod I had to prepay for to get the pricing I did, I walked away and took the loss.

Celerant provides amazing multi-channel capabilities for less than other companies with similar software. The integration with Amazon and Channel Advisor set Celerant above the rest for us.

Once I was used to it, I certainly enjoyed the ease of use of the system and the ability to network in our stores from around the country.

Like any major investment, do your homework which if you are on this site you likely are already doing.

Sometimes the program would crash when trying to pull reports and wasn't multifunctional while performing transactions.

The service and post install add-ons that you thought were part of the original deal are really frustrating. Not so much in cost as install delays.

The customization of the pos screen is great. Super easy to navigate and change if need be.

Customer support is expensive amd doesn’t get the issues resolved. Mostly band aids assuming it gets fixed.

To be fair, this issue probably only arose due to the items being entered wrong on our end.

We needed a great web platform, a mail order web interface, and a very robust amazon integration.

It is slightly counter-intuitive when learning how to use the system. At times, it can be confusing why certain actions weren't as easy to un-do or go back.

Great user interface easy to use. Easy to install, great customer service.

Hard to compete due to a high price tag for the software though I understand why there is a high price tag.

The simplicity of implementation is what sold us. Yes, it's easy to use for the line staff, but the initial setup was so great.

This POS is great for our restaurants. It provides good reporting for revenue centers and also a good labor tracking report.

Maitre'D can do a lot to help a restaurant be successful: inventory, time and attendance, accounting, scheduling, and real time reporting.

Service and reliability have been awful, with frequent crashes, the need to pay for every single issue from day one, and an inflexible setup that is killing our restaurant.

I will say when i needed to get that unlock code there were no hold ups or waiting like when I needed tech support. They answered right off in person and were very eager to take my payment.

We used to like the optional features and interface possibilities, until we found out that most of them don't work as promised.

Screen navigation disign is poor. Inventory management screen designs are poor.

It is so bad that we will dump the system well before the three year lease is up. This POS isn't Point of Sale, it's a Piece of.

Very stable and robust software. Very flexible can be adapted to any type of rerstaurant.

Problems with interaction for room charges in the hotel...not always a problem with the software though but a hardware problem on our own end.

It had good functionality and layout, but it was outdated.

Outstanding new version, easy to upgrade and it's what our chain accounts want and need.

If you swipe a card to start a tab, that information is useless to close the tab with, and the system can't access it.

Easy to ease, easy to program, extremely stable software.

It's a user friendly and training waitstaff is very easy. Big bold buttons and colors on the screen.

The system does not easily integrate with different systems, so you are limited due to compatibility.
