Pros
- Avast is user friendly softwaare but home page notification better then custom ooption.
- This does tremendously simplify management and saves as so much time. We've got a few VPSs and the ability to manage their protection/security without having to login to each of them has been great.
Cons
- The amount of space it took up on the computer was insane, everything went slower than ever before.
- I believe the software couldn't handle huge data needs. As our company is growing we are upgrading to their more premium plans which are quite costly.
Pros
- The ability of SEP to integrate well with other Symantec tools like DLP, CASB and the other entire suite is great.
- Symantec Endpoint Protection is one of the best security software (anti-virus/malware) in the internet. It has lots of useful features and it is easy to use.
Cons
- No software is full proof, because people are always coming up with new ways to create harm and be malicious. Since using this software we have had only one case of being attacked by a virus.
- If any issues come up with encrypted machine, possibility of losing all data on hard drive was very high. The bypass screen for encryption login would often not work.
