EPAC prides itself on being a company of maintenance people, not "software people". The developers of ePAC have more than 75 years of deep-rooted experience in the business, and this provides a first-hand understanding of the unique needs of users in the halls and in the plants. In fact, EPAC won the Product of the Year award in 2011 by Plant Engineering Magazine.
With ePAC, these users have the tools to react to problems quickly and effectively. EPAC understands that maintenance is often a reactive process and that it's commonly overlooked. They also understand that an efficient, optimized maintenance department has a direct, tangible impact on a company's bottom line and that it's becoming an increasingly critical aspect of a successful business.
ePAC is a comprehensive CMMS solution that offers a positive, success-based philosophy and cutting-edge functionality. Core applications include powerful work order management, as well as both predictive and preventive maintenance and tools for complete asset and inventory management. The software was designed to be extremely easy to use, with a friendly interface that allows users to navigate quickly and easily between the modules.
ePAC can be scaled to support both single and multi-site operations. The solution was designed to be highly configurable, with user-defined fields, customizable screens and layouts that can be designed by user or by group. Data can be easily exported and document linking is also available. ePac makes it easy to track technicians as well, who can be organized by craft or trade; ePAC can even track their certifications.
We recommend ePAC to organizations in a number of industries - healthcare, manufacturing, food & beverage - seeking an intuitive, user-friendly CMMS solution.

It is easy to use, you can upload pictures for easier identification. It uses a simple format that is easy to use.
We have an older version and from my understanding the reason for this is because previously when we tried to update the software it was difficult. There experienced a lot of error messages and gave up on future updates.
Consult with your IT department, know what you expect and what you need from the software.

Ease of use in our day to day facilities operations make ePAC a smart choice of us. If I'm not here to oversee things the other techs all have enough training on ePAC to make sure service request are dealt with and PM's are not missed. ePAC and training made this possible.
Also like that I can track major assets such as Chillers, Boilers, Air-Handlers, etc. and see where we have had problems in the past to help predict when we may have trouble in the future. Along with that we are able to track warranty dates which is helpful when you are dealing with all the mechanical and other things we track here.
There really isn't much not to like about this software. It's very user friendly.
Get demo's from several companies and see how they can benefit you and your needs before deciding on a CMMS software package.
