eMaint, a Fluke company, is a computerized maintenance management software (CMMS) solution that assists thousands of businesses worldwide to manage enterprise assets, streamline workflows, track inventory and schedule preventive and predictive maintenance.

The core functionalities include tools for tracking, managing and controlling work orders and requests, inventory and spare parts, work schedules and assignment, monitoring equipment condition and supporting regulatory compliance.

eMaint’s web-based, Software as a Service (SaaS) solution can be accessed on PCs, smartphones, tablets, and any other browser-based device. Every eMaint subscription package includes a Customer Success Manager, unlimited helpdesk support (via phone, email and live chat), daily data backup, and software updates and enhancements.

Projects Maintenance tasks was a nightmare till we started with eMaint CMMS

This software its an add value for every Operation and maintenance companies

Pros

A powerful software for every day projects maintenance activities, it provide simple and easy to use functions allow full control of your task force

Cons

Just need to have more practical interface and should be easy to tailor made as per daily tasks and work demands

This system is loaded with capabilities and is user friendly

I was a bit intimidated at first switching from a basically paper / spreadsheet system. Now the more i use the system the more i realize what it is cabable of. For what the system is capable of and the support staff that they have to help ensure your success, the system is worth it.

Pros

We just got through the On Site Kick off (4 days with an implementation specialist). Definately worth it! We were able to get the various modules, screens and reports set up the way we wanted with an expert that did it for us as well as showed us how in the process. We haven't gone "Live" yet but we are already using the work request / work order module so we could start tracking corrective actions right away

Cons

Haven't had any yet,,, the support that Emaint has provided has been accurate, helpful, and timely thus far.

Very useful Maintenance Management Tool

Pros

I had very simple recurring maintenance items to track and using this tool made it a very organized process in taking care of the large equipment that needed routine services. You can schedule recurring and needed maintenance on your equipment.

Cons

It does take some learning to use, but like any software with some practice you can learn the functionality quickly.

Great reports and makes it easy to track everything

Pros

The reporting is very modifiable, and we can get all the information we need about our equipment. We know exactly what needs to be done, and what's been done. It's absolutely perfect when maintaining large tractors and other farm equipment

Cons

It is very costly, but compared to what you save in time, it's worth it.

So much functionality

Pros

-Endless customization to your needs
-Adding work orders (or work order requests) is straightforward
-User hierarchy is very useful for giving access levels throughout the organization
-Web-based so you can access it anywhere
-They will send trainers out to your site to teach you and your team how to set up and use the software
-Can connect it to monitoring tools for easier data collection

Cons

The reports themselves can be quite difficult to set up. When I called customer service, they told me they'd rather set the reports up for the end users rather than trying to train people how to set up their own reports. Once the reports are set up they're super easy to run.

Emaint Excellence

Love this CMMS.

Pros

The support staff makes the transition perfect. The main page has all the info I need to run all three of my sites.

Cons

Takes a long time to install all aspects. I would like to have a few more techs for the price, maybe balance admin and techs better.

Excellent customer service

Pros

I most liked the exceptional level of customer service I received. In managing the use of multiple facilities I found this product to be optimal for my needs.

Cons

I wish there were more applications for this software! I can't say anything bad, only that I wish I could use it more!

A good basic system.

Tracking of outstanding work orders, by trade and / or individual. Short term scheduling for routine PMs.

Pros

Able to keep tracks of labor hours for cost analysis. Able to schedule work orders effectively, for all workers, by trades.

Cons

Supply tracking and stock inventory algorithm needs improvement. Cannot research history to reference prior repairs or replacements.

Pros

Very good CMMS program. We have reduced our downtime and parts searching by using this system. Very good once you get used to it.

Cons

Will need training to learn all of the functions. Luckily, eMaint offers a lot of training to help you learn the system.

We migrated from Faciliworks CMMS to Emaint's CMMS in 2015. Emaint's customer support was the key.

We are able to organize all of our data in one place. Including PMs, work orders, calibrations, equipment manuals, floor plans & service requests.

Pros

This software is very user friendly and flexible. We are able to have production personnel create work requests, add pictures if necessary. I have all our machine manuals in the document storage section. We use the software to track equipment PMs and Calibrations. It is really a well rounded software.

Cons

Because this software is continuously updating software versions, we sometimes experience bugs or bug repairs. Emaint is very good about publishing the reports on what has changed with the new version of the software.

Has the bells and whistles, but mobile use is frustrating

Pros

eMaint offers all of the features you could want with a CMMS. Forms are customizable. System is reliable. Customer service is excellent.

Cons

The mobile functionality was a deal breaker for us. They do not have an app. Instead, they have a mobile browser based version. It is clunky and difficult to use, especially for people with limited tech experience.

Wonderful Experience

We are almost done with the 4-week implementation process, and with each new step we have realized more ways this software is going to streamline our day-to-day processes to greatly increase efficiency, as well as become a powerful reporting tool for that will provide us with far better data than we have ever had.

Pros

Customization, fantastic service from sale through implementation, excellent training that results in ease of use.

Cons

No complaints - it is a LOT to learn and a LOT of data to transfer, but that's to be expected with any software change (especially if, like us, you're pulling the data from a variety of sources), AND the implementation specialist and the online training have really helped us with both.

I did want to learn more on You Tube of developing the app for my business better. I like to do it alone when I can.

Pros

Most of it is self explanatory. I always get follow ups from the support staff to be sure I have what I need.

Cons

I haven't found any yet. I would say I would like more instructions available instead of going to support so much to figure it out.

Using eMaint was great and it aid me in my maintenance planning and scheduling. It has saves me time

Saves time to generate work work and planning. It effective tool for planner in maintenance jobs. It has help me know the total number of items on store and when to reorder.

Pros

The features and functions of the program such the planning and purchase re-order.
When ever an item is running out of stock, it automatically send alert message to you informing the need to reorder but it run out of stock

This product actually works.

I'm coming from Bigfoot CMMS and my organization made the switch over to eMaint. eMaint made a data transfer template because enough customers were switching away. I think every user we have has gave two thumbs up on that decision. I've only heard a few times during the transition/development process "oh that's hard-wired into the program, we can't change that" You can change almost anything you want. You want a drop-down menu here instead of freeform type field, done! The load times between pages are actually reasonable. To me it's lightning. Rarely see error messages, too!

Pros

SPEED! Data Dictionary. Almost fully customizable forms. eMaint University provides training right there for end-users. Development/customer support communicated during the hurricane that hit Florida last year. It actually feels like a finished product, and your organization can work with eMaint to tailor it to your needs. Requestors are available to not have logins, submit requests through a website and receive automated emails on progress.

Cons

Every once in a while you encounter bugs (taxing twice on invoices, random stuff), but I'm willing to look past that because the development team seems competent enough to fix all the problems we have had so far. I'm told eMaint licenses/how we are using licenses costs more than Bigfoot, but I haven't seen the invoices to give particulars.

eMaint has proved to do everything I have ask to this point

Pros

That it is web based and can be accessed from any where. Also like that most everything I have ask of eMaint representative they have been able to accommodate.

Cons

Often you have to click on menu several times to get the list to show. For example if you leave PM and go to asset. You end up clicking on Asset menu. If one had been selected you close it then blank screen appears. You then have to click on Asset again to get the list.

Overall experience is very good. we only use a fraction of the capabilities though.

Scheduling of preventative maintenance has saved us time and money

Pros

Flexible enough to allow to be used for a variety of projects not only maintenance. We actually use for Environmental inspections and H&S

Cons

Navigation at times can be a bit cumbersome especially when adding multiple records.

Initial implementation can be a bit hard. Ie you must follow a certain syntax when entering data into fields.
