UpKeep - A excellent maintenance tracking program.

Upkeep has allowed us to identify missing coverage on some equipment. Upkeep affords us accountability, and communication between all departments for maintenance concerns.

Pros

UpKeep software was easy to learn and populate using our online equipment data. This is a big help considering we have over 500 assets to maintain.

Cons

Maintenance scheduling requires attention to detail to ensure maintenance actions are not scheduled during weekends and holidays

Finally, a mobile-first CMMS

Upkeep is the best CMMS out there if the ability to work from a phone is important to you.

Pros

The app is great. The interface is simple and intuitive. The ability to communicate with employees within a work order is fantastic.

Cons

The features are relatively limited compared to other CMMS solutions.

Upkeep for non profits

I've been using this product for about a year now. Prior to this, there was a paper system for writing down things to be done. Some were completed and some, well were not. This system is easy to use and for a non-profit organization is affordable.

Pros

The ability to track work orders by individual develops an accountability system for us. Initiating a WO is easy and the ability to export work orders to vendors via an email, saves time. The most valuable feature is setting up preventative maintenance work orders and setting the desired frequency.

Cons

Would like to be able to generate a report for all work orders completed or scheduled. This actually may be available with the more robust version.

Upkeep Has Been Great!

We operate a very large facility and on a regular basis the other employees don't make it to their desks to record or request work that they need done. With Upkeep and their mobile app we are staying on top of work requests better then ever before. One major benefit that we appreciate more then anything is how easy Upkeep is to use, on top of that its accurate and through.

Pros

After using a CMMS prior to upkeep that was clumsy and hard to navigate, We really appreciate how easy to use and intuitive Upkeep has been. When have come across any sort of question the help section has been great almost all questions have a Video to help you get the answer you need.

Cons

Although, there are no real cons with the program there are a few scheduling variations that i wish were options. Right now we want to have a PM scheduled every week day, With upkeep everyday includes the weekends when we are not working. It is very easy to fix by deleting unwanted Work orders. This could also something that i haven't learned how to do yet.

Excellent CMMS for Facility Managers

It has been great using UpKeep. Our rep did a great job setting me up and getting my technicians trained has been easy as well - and that speaks the simplicity of the application. All my technicians have Galaxy Tab A 7" tablets which they use with the UpKeep app. They're able to receive work orders while in the field, see all info needed to complete the task and close it out from there. Very efficient and effective. No complaints for the team at UpKeep, they really seem like they care about their product and customers.

Pros

The way it looks. The way it works. Simple, familiar design. Easy to learn and use the interface. A lot about making an application work efficiently and smoothly, is a familiar or simple to use interface, which this meets x 10.
Great tools to utilize; from work order requests, to repetitive work, to inputting assets and added users.
The dashboard is a great tool to monitor who inputs the most work, or closes the most, to what locations or categories are being worked on the most - and thats all linked with your assets to manage life-cycle of equipment.
The support team is very helpful as well. I've had simple questions here and there, and "chatting" on the desktop site yielded very quick responses within minutes of asking.
Love the way I can create my own criteria for Assets, ex; Model #, Serial #, Lifespan, Install Date #. This allows my team to custom build the system to work for our facilities needs.

Cons

Some things still need to be thought out a bit more. A few examples:
-Consistency: between the Android app and the Apple app, both are not identical and work a little differently. For instance, the camera interface and drawing options are a lot more extensive on the iPhone. As well terminology doesn't stay consistent, even with the desktop version in an internet browser; "Dashboard" on the app is "Reporting" on the desktop, and within a work order, there are "Details" and "Update" pages on the app, but on the desktop site they're "Details" and "Activity" - but yet they're the same functions. Someone wouldn't understand this until they've used it of course.

Best CMMS

I've been using UpKeep for almost 2 months and so far its been great . Customer service is excellence and it provides more than every other CMMS for a reasonable cost. I really thing to upgrade to the business package.

Pros

Great CMMS provides extra features as inventory & checklist & mobile access

Cons

Export on csv file is a trouble if you are using other language than english ... it should be improved in the near future.

Simple, Organized, User Friendly

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use. It does not take very long to figure this software out. It helps bring uniformity to your organization and consistency. Your team will begin to learn what is expected of them and when they need to do what is assigned to them. It really helps the transparency of your business.

Cons

I would like it if I could print off the work orders and the descriptions and it would be amazing if it could synchronize with Google Team Drive and the Calendar

Makes Maintenance Requests Easy

I'm overall very happy with the program and the ability to add pictures.

Pros

We use to use a form for maintence requests but UpKeep replaced that and then some.

Cons

It gets more expensive to have multiple administartors. I'd like to review our facility managers work at a deeper level.

Did you fix that hole in the wall?

We are solving communication breakdown across multiple parties. In addition, creating systems that can grow as the company grows.

Pros

Efficiency. It takes me around 2 minutes to fill out the form and upload a picture of the project. Later I receive an email that the project has been completed. It's great to know there doesn't actually have to be a phone call or meeting but simply enter the information and wait till that glorious email, the project completed.

Cons

Every time I fill out the form I have to put in my phone number and contact information. If there was a way for Upkeep to save my information that would be very helpful and make the process even more efficient.

A Valuable Software for the Maintenance Department

Pros

UpKeep tremendously helps with audits and work orders. It’s also good for location tracking and managing inventory. You have the ability to validate check-in and check-out. After using it for over a year now, I must say that it is the best product within its category.

Cons

The software was a little difficult to learn in the beginning, but I was able to get acquainted with it after tinkering with the software. Once you get to learn the ropes, it becomes easier.

Reasonable Maintenance Management Software

If you're specifically looking for maintenance management software, this works pretty well. But if you need a lot of different types of projects and tasks to keep track of you'll probably need something else.

Pros

Great for adding tasks with pictures and descriptions. Customization is simple and and helps keep communication among the team pretty easy.

Cons

Nothing really wrong with it, but its hard to stay competitive with many other task management softwares that do similar things. Though Upkeep does focus on maintenance and construction type project tasks, its still hard to see why this would preferred over other general task management softwares like Asana. If you have all kinds of projects to keep track of, maintenance or not, it could get burdensome to run various softwares. Probably easier to keep it all in once place that can do it all.

Great CMMS program to organize parts and maintenance department

I have been able to keep track of all parts, where I can buy them, how many in stock, descriptions, what machinery they go to, and how much money is in inventory. It has organized the department greatly.

Pros

Ease of use and amazing customer service

Cons

Haven't found anything I don't like yet.
