Designed for real estate brokers, Boomtown provides marketing and sales automation specifically for the real estate industry. Through Boomtown, brokers can select and customize a lead generation website, track and nurture leads, monitor team success and sales, and more.

The automated marketing tools create a way for brokers and agents to stay in touch with prospects and clients, so that agents can nurture leads without having to manually track all interactions. The system automatically sends notifications regarding listing updates, so that agents can be as up-to-date on their market as possible.

Boomtown also features advanced website analytics, allowing users to track a prospective buyer's or seller's movements and interactions across the site. Sales analytics include dashboards that can help managers monitor their team’s engagement. I like the ease of seeing the to-dos and knocking them out. The drips are great and the format is easy to use.

Cons

The phone app wasn't great (yet). Many of my calls and notes while on the road were lost but I expect they'll iron that out soon. .

I love how easy it is to use. The staff at Boomtown has been AMAZING. I still have not even used all the features of the CRM but I am slowly but surely learning what they all do.

Cons

I would not know it its a negative thing but it still is pricy even though I got it on special. For a new agent starting up having a legit website is key. I would like to see them offer a cheaper version for starting Realtors.

Not what they claim it to be. Poor communication, poor results and overcharged us. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Pros

They seemed like decent people when we signed up and we they said they would provide good support for us.

Cons

They did not keep their word. They overcharged us multiple times on billing. They were told not to continue buying large amounts of leads fro the required PPC and they ignored our requests and charged us anyways. They return was nothing like they said it would be. No one from management would even return our call. Very poor business practices.

This was VERY hyped up to me!!! I was told it does EVERYTHING... well I don't really love how it's organized. It's harder to sort through my leads and I wish I could create different lists for vendors, investors, etc.

It's relatively easy to use. There is a lot of class you can attend to really understand the product.

I am starting to figure that the emails I sent out to my clients through Boomtown go directly to my client's trash or spasm box.

Recommendations

It's a super expensive product. Luckily, the lenders in our company pays for this service for the agents to use. Not sure for how much longer.

Great software for generating leads and tracking them. You can call, email, and text directly through the CRM and start an automated drip campaign to your prospects.

Likes Least

There is not an effective post transaction mechanism to keep in contact with clients once you have closed a deal.

Recommendations

Its great product for lead generation but it can be expensive. They have many add-on features and affiliation like Rok-r-box for ISA services or you have to hire your own if do not want to wade through the bogus leads that come. You also get many tire-kickers.

The software is user friendly, easily used, and even when they update the system, I do not feel lost. They don't reinvent the wheel, they make it easy to your job. Once a lead signs up, the system helps to alert you when the prospect is using the website. You can see everything a client is looking at, you can text them pre-done templates in text messages directly from your computer, and set up automatic emails, and so much more. You can have a client signed up for years before they are ready to buy, but once they start showing interest Boomtown notifies you.

I dont have anything negative. Every time I need help, they are diligent in working with me.

Recommendations

Dive into it. Let the system work for you! Don't use tons of different programs, put them all here, and make your life easier.

It's a great lead generator. The Boomtown team is constantly innovating and improving things in order to help us generate more leads. There are lots of IDX lead generations solutions out there and I truly believe Boomtown is the best. What really sets them apart is the back end of their site. It gives us great transparency into our prospect's search habits, enables us to follow up effectively with leads and allows me to hold the agents on my team accountable.

Likes Least

It's an expensive tool and you have to be willing to follow up with a lot of leads to determine which buyers and sellers are legitimate. However, if you're looking to grow a big business this is part of it.

Recommendations

Make sure you have the capacity (# of agents) to handle the volume of leads and understand it takes a while to build a pipeline and start to see a solid return on this investment. This is a long term business builder not a quick fix.

The product is easy to use, easy to train employees on, and serves the purpose of what it was designed for. The vendor is always in high levels of communication with us, their clients. They're always working on improving their product with features that are most asked for by their clients. The product itself is designed with real estate in mind and utilizing in-house real estate professionals so they can build out the best product possible.

Likes Least

Though they have a suggestion area where users can submit ideas on how to make the product better, suggestions are ranked upon how many votes they can collect as opposed to advanced users being able to communicate directly to the development team. It would be nice to have more of a liaison in that area rather than hoping users vote for your suggestion. I don't feel like it's the quickest way to get really good suggestions in front of the people that make the decisions on what to work on next.

Recommendations

To keep in mind that this software product is a tool and not necessarily a lead generating system. The product is only as good as the people's willingness to ensure they're using the product to it's fullest potential.

the Phone App is easy and convenient to use - makes logging calls and memos etc super accessible. The Tagging ability makes keeping track of search areas convenient as well as other purposes.

Cons

No scheduling for text messages and auto pop ups for SOI when called for personal reasons. No Category Label on the ToDos...this would make it easier to prioritize on a daily basis.

I want a team calendar attached that we can all use....Please make it a tab. PRETTY PLEASE. It would make it so easy for a team calendar on all contract dates to put on it.

A good place for the database to live and like the auto functions for the new leads. Gives us the time to get to them quickly without having to be monitoring the system 24-7. Love the integration with the mojo dialer.

I like the new BT app. It gives insights into things that I don't see in my regular database. I kind of wish that I could get that same information on the regular database. I like that it links to Mojo and does the e-alerts.

Cons

There is something way off about how the hotsheet determines Best-Fits. They are wildly off-base. I wish I could refine the search criteria for e-alerts a bit better.

How easy it is to keep track of how often you've touched clients, when you got in touch with them last, and the method of communication.

Cons

The Android app is pretty buggy and not super functional. It's slow to update with fresh leads that come in, so sometimes it's almost an hour after they sign up with our website before the lead hits my phone. I always get the email as soon as they sign up though.

I moved to Charleston SC in 2010 for a team leader role with KW. While searching for houses I noticed this website with the Casina Group that was very easy to use and was the best looking website available. When we moved back to Indianapolis at the end of 2012 to help with Amanda's parents we had to have this website for our business. Our first year using Boomtown coming back to our market after being gone for almost 3 years we called Boomtown. In 2013 Amanda and I closed 87 deals all from Boomtown. We hired buyers agents and have continued to grow our business every year. With the help of Boomtown we grossed our first million last year and are on our way to 2 million GCI this year.

I came from another Brokerage that did not have this system in their favor and started rough.
