I use Bullhorn every day. It helps my work day to flow - I can track tasks to complete, phone calls to make, emails to send, and more. I can easily track the projects that we are working on, and even track my daily performance against my monthly goals. Overall, Bullhorn is a winner.

Pros

I like the task list, fields that can be customized, and the way the work flow is set up. I'm also a big fan of the dashboards.

Cons

The only thing I dislike is the way mass emails are sent.

Advice to Others

Look into it - check into Bullhorn. You won't regret it.

Bullhorn provides a complete servicing platform for all stages of candidate recruiting. We are able to manage our client and candidate contact lists, our jobs, payroll, onboarding, and more.

Aside from minor window control and UI quirks, Bullhorn has few flaws.

With recent mergers, our company has experienced exponential growth during 2016. With that growth comes the challenge of integrating client and sales data, as well as candidate data. With Bullhorn, the integration was seamless. All of the data was easily uploaded into our established Bullhorn database and we experienced no downtime.

As a Staffing Agency, our entire organization uses Bullhorn CRM. Bullhorn is our main recruiting tool allowing us to easily manage sales leads, candidate leads, and all levels of the staffing process. It effectively addresses the time issue; this tool saves us a great deal of time by organizing each of our processes in a general tab format.

Pros

Organization - The layout of the Bullhorn interface is simple. This makes training new users easy and makes working in bullhorn stress-free.

Detail - Bullhorn allows us to enter and retrieve a great amount of detail within records. This allows for accurate reporting and follow-up.

Customization - Bullhorn is very customizable. We can easily add components and fields to the interface within each function of the CRM.

Cons

User Interface - Though highly customizable, the windows and popups can be quirky. The sizes of windows for example can sometimes be to small for the data contained and require a great deal of scrolling to navigate through.

Email Capability - Bullhorn would be better with a full service email suite which included all of the functions of MS Outlook for example.

Data speed - We all want to work faster. Bullhorn can sometimes be a bit sluggish with the transmission of data.

Advice to Others

I would suggest making sure that the CRM software you select is highly customizable. We have realized a clear, positive benefit from Bullhorn's ability to integrate with other software. We have our background check vendor integrated within our CRM platform and by doing so have saved a great deal of time and money as a result.

I use this softwear everyday to track dates and pay for consultants while I extend their contracts. Bullhorn is very straight forward and easy to use with a lot of options and customization.

Pros

I like that it keeps files secure and safe away from our internal database like a backup drive.

Cons

Not very integrative.

We use Bullhorn as our daily ATS to record all contact with both candidates and clients. The software has a lot of useful tools that helps eliminate a lot of time-consuming events, but on the same not, can often be lagging in many areas.

Pros

It's very useful to record and edit client/candidate information with ease. The software is easy to use and very functional.

Cons

The software is a little clunkly, and although it's a newer version, it seems a bit outdated. While the platform is web-based, it fails to run smoothly through a mobile platform, and often times, the loading times are a little sluggish.

Advice to Others

I would test out multiple ATS and see which work best for you. If you are comfortable using GMAIL as your email platform, than Bullhorn is most likely your best option. Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options.

If you compare the product with some of its competitors Bullhorn is over priced. Their business model seems to be Enterprise accounts are far more important and of value. As a small business their lack of account management has been a massive challenge despite numerous complaints.
We had numerous issues with S Release and trying to get an account manager to help resolve these issues was frustrating to say the least.

However despite being over whelmed the support team are great.

I have been using Bullhorn for about 6 weeks and I do not have any complaints, it works with the Virtual Interview software I have and it also works with my web page so it pretty much does almost everything I need for it to do.

BH is great except for it has many glitches. When updating ant new information you must log out and log back in to see it. Also, I at least twice a day get the error message, "Illegal Operation" when it clearly is NOT. This makes me loose documentation and my team as well.

Organized and much of the information allows you to input it

Cons

Can not write specific "TITLES" for the NOTES sections. Must edit in the field mappings which makes us have about 50 drop down. Always get error messages. Must log out and log back in instead of refresh when you update new information.

Advice to Others

take advantage of your first introduction. Try to use the tool before you have the scheduled webinar so that you understand what they are going over. We did this prelim and didn't have a lot of questions but found that we needed help as we learned the software better.

This product is easy to use, easily customizable and has a great work flow! It's also easy to learn. It also can track all of your emails with outside leads, candidates and contacts! The support staff is great and are always there when help is needed. Their help site includes instructions and videos on how to use the system.

The most confusing thing about this product is their tracks, you can have multiple displays depending on what time of placement it is.

Recommendations

Make sure you can easily customize the product for your use! Make sure the product can track the emails.

Bullhorn CRM does what no other CRM provider can do. It tracks relationship insight in real time, to eliminate having to manually track anything in regards to important client relationships. It is very easy to navigate and use & getting it up and running is as quick as ever. HIGHLY recommend to anyone wanting to increase your revenue through a CRM.

There really is not much to not like about this CRM. It is still being heavily developed which is nice, because the developers are always taking customer feedback serious.

Recommendations

Definitely go with Bullhorn if you are looking to increase your revenue with a CRM and have a CRM that you and your team will actually enjoy using.

The best part of my ENTIRE customer experience with this company was onboarding. The staff was nice and walked me through everything that I needed to make sure I was up and running by the time period I needed.

After the onboarding process it was extremely difficult for me to reach anyone for assistance. I often felt like my emails were floating around in black space.

Recommendations

Take your time during the onboarding process and get direct contact information. It is not a very user friendly platform. It does get the job done but it will take time to learn how to navigate.

The simplicity and ease of use. You can learn how to use Bullhorn in a couple of hours and learn how to use most of its functions!

Likes Least

It is a bit laggy when trying to open bigger company/candidate information. It might be in conjunction with our server's speeds, but it does bug out time to time and closes on itself.

Recommendations

Just take a couple hours to really learn how to use Bullhorn, or have colleague guide you through. Should be relatively easy to get the hang of within a week of using it.
