Do you homework, i got burnt by these guys big time. They signed me up to a plan that ended up being more than i had agreed too, the software is very very clumsy ( and I have built web sites, run accounting databases etc) and service is very slow. I ended up employing external specialists who are very expensive and beware, trying to cancel your plan with Infusionsoft took me months as they will not put you in contact with the right party to do so. Test it out before you buy, you will see that you need to invest a lot of time and money to reap benefits. I spent $xxxx in two months with them and got no return. If you test it out for your self like me you will probably discover how clumsy their software is. Little things were annoying me as I was building pipelines and campaigns as the software is advanced if we were back in the 90's. Beware to, a lot of the review out there online are from people who are affiliated with Infusionsoft.

I love their customer service, no matter my challenge they take the time to figure out the best way to achieve my goal.

The application has become very slow. Takes an average 2-3 minutes between screens/tasks, so when doing some complex building, reporting or testing I am easily losing 30-90 minutes in my day.

Recommendations

Have defined goals going in, know what you are trying to achieve and what kind of reporting you will need. This a great tool for multiple departments.

The platform seemed to have robust functionality but Infusionsoft's third party providers missed every deadline, failed to provide training, all required programming, and implementation services. Unfortunately it took seven months for us to figure out we'd been taken for a ride. We just made the decision to use our own internal IT staff to create the programming necessary to connect our new website to Infusionsoft (Our website was intentionally designed and built along side our signing with Infusionsoft CRM to insure all technologies aligned). In short, this has been an incredibly slow, frustrating, and expensive lesson.

The Infusionsoft sales person and sales tech flat out lied about the cost required to set-up/program our CRM system. We provided 100% of our specs in writing, reviewed them between a prospective web developer, my internal IT director, and Infusionsoft. After spending 10-hours over a period of two months reviewing specs, building campaigns, etc etc we signed an agreement on the basis that they could do everything we discussed. Only after you sign an agreement do they tell you they do not train or provide programming themselves. Rather, customers are forced to repeat all the same specifications (4-hours including 4 highly paid vendors & staff = 16-man hours) again with a third party provider. Infuriating! The first third party provider (Success Engine) provided a statement of work on March 2. The end date was April 2. The statement of work communicated they were to complete a total of 10-hours of programming work. Long story short, they slow rolled the build out, missing deadline after deadline, and in June (yea June - to do 10-hours of programming?) provided us with a new quote (bait & switch) stating there was an additional 15-25 hours of programming work required to complete the build out per our specifications. Keep in mind those are the same specifications that we provided and reviewed with them in painstaking detail in February. Infuriating! After receiving the new quote in June we felt we had no choice but to push ahead because we were so far behind schedule and had invested so much time and money into the project. We gave them a deadline of July 1 and they quickly turned down the work because they said they wouldn't be able to meet the deadline. Infuriating! It ultimately took Success Engine until the middle of July to complete the original 10-hours of set-up/programming. Infuriating! So back to June when Success Engine turned down the work; we were forced to ask Infusionsoft to provide us with a new third party provider which of course required us to go over our specifications for a third time (4-hours including 4 highly paid vendors & staff = 16-man hours). The first contact with the new third party provider ThinkAutomateGrow (TrickApatheticGrievance). was mid-June. Once again we communicated our specifications to our assigned programmer and the next day that programmer had a death in the family and was gone. She passed us to another programmer. The new guy was around for about three weeks, didn't do much, then was fired by ThinkAutomateGrow. The first programmer reappeared for about two week but then reported that her son broke his arm. She didn't reply to emails or calls for the next 10-days. When she did reply she said she went on her honeymoon and the auto responder on her email must not have worked correctly. She introduced us via email and teleconference to the owner who spoke to us twice briefly by phone, and replied to a total of three emails. That brings us to last Friday, August 14, 2015. That was the absolute deadline for ThinkAutomateGrow to add us to his production calendar. He failed to respond. It is now Aug 19. The decision was made to use our own internal IT staff to create the programming necessary to connect our new website to Infusionsoft. I WOULD NEVER, EVER, EVER, DO BUSINESS WITH THESE UNETHICAL SO-CALLED BUSINESS PEOPLE.

Recommendations

Software seems good but if the sales people lie to you about the cost of programming and the third party providers can't get it programmed anyway what good does it do your company? Don't just walk away....RUN!

It is extremely easy to use (and I am not very tech-oriented). InfusionSoft lets me contain (find and use) a LOT of different information in one place. I can access the information anywhere. The tutorials are concise and InfusionSoft lets you practice each step of the various components. The learning curve was both shorter and smaller than I anticipated.

I am not sure the cost is validated by its use for a small company.

Recommendations

If you can test run each of your options, I think you will find InfusionSoft the winner in ease and usability and options.

Infusionsoft's CRM system is build on three pillars: "E-Commerce", "Marketing", and "CRM". What I liked about the CRM system is the modern user interface and the many features the browser-based product offers. For example, Infusionsoft allows you to customize your navigation menu. You can easily drag&drop menu items/features from E-Commerce, Marketing, and CRM and build your own quick-access menu. That turned out to be very helpful during the review session.

Infusionsoft offers more functionally than a regular CRM system which might explain the confusion with the three pillars. I particularly liked the "landing page builder". It allows you to build different landing pages and analysis the success of each on individually. While it is not as sophisticated as professional A/B testing services, it offers a sufficient range of functionality.

Infusionsoft requires an internet connection at all times, which might be an issue when traveling internationally or in areas with bad connection.
The "all in one place" approach might be attractive for some people. I personally find the various pages too cluttered with information. I usually don't need all information all the time. A "business case" view would be helpful.

Recommendations

I strongly recommend to develop a set of business cases before testing this (or really any) software, especially when you compare it to other systems. It makes it easier to quickly see differences and allows you to stay somewhat objective. When comparing platforms, I also suggest to assess whether mobile access to the CRM system is a crucial element or not. A "beautiful" app can sometimes be misleading.

I love infusionsoft because of its functionality and because of how powerful the software is. I love the fact that it can be use in just about every type of business and its multi-purposes. I love their customer service as they generally try hard to help you with any issues that you have.

Take a test run first and get your feet wet. Additionally talk to others who have used the software before. Read about the pros and cons as Infusionsoft like anything else has its flaws.

It's clunky, difficult to store/find data and issue resolution from support is either poor or non-existent.

Run away! The salesmen are very good at their jobs. The theoretical functionality of the system sounds great - but my business has not been able to make it work AT ALL.

Because we are in a different time zone than the US, we are unsupported and left wondering why we paid so much money for a system that is ill conceived, poorly executed and unsupported.

The marketing automation and logic paths available in Infusionsoft are worth the price of admission. From (nearly) set and forget it campaigns to behavior-triggered drips, Infusionsoft has all the bells and whistles one needs to proactively target an audience. It has made our out-bound marketing much more effective.

The learning curve is steep-ish. Those bells and whistles take some time to master, and to get the most value from the platform, you'll need to spend time it almost every day. And, the reporting takes some getting used to.

Recommendations

Maybe it's quite obvious, but be sure to consider all the time this platform will save you. There will often be times when a campaign or drip has to be adjusted, but a well-crafted campaign can, in essence, run itself once it has been set. How will that help you and your team down the road?

The support for someone like me starting out is incredible. The staff are highly knowledgeabale, patient and willing to bend over backwards to support. The platform has already started showing me what I have been missing out on all these years by being to scared to shift. It isnt as expensive as I always imagined, and the value for money in terms of what the platform can actually do, is mind boggling. I am still a new user but in just 5 months can see the difference to my business.

Felt a little overwhelming at first but was guided expertly through kickstarter. Just had to breathe. One day when we had bad connection and it all got too much, my coach simply re-scheduled. I didnt have to feel like an idiot for not "getting it" quickly

Recommendations

Just switch now. They are always implementing new ideas. The platform is actually easy to navigate and there are great incentives fro new users. I have also just found a local user group in JHB South Africa to get additional support from people using it. I have already personally recommended this to 6 colleagues I know will benefit.
