This product is so multifaceted it can feel overwhelming. Once, you learn the different functions and you are over the initial learning curve it is wonderful.

Recommendations

Look at the content and the support. A support team is usually not as well advertised and can make or break your experience. The support team for Infusionsoft is phenomenal.

The support for someone like me starting out is incredible. The staff are highly knowledgeabale, patient and willing to bend over backwards to support. The platform has already started showing me what I have been missing out on all these years by being to scared to shift. It isnt as expensive as I always imagined, and the value for money in terms of what the platform can actually do, is mind boggling. I am still a new user but in just 5 months can see the difference to my business.

Felt a little overwhelming at first but was guided expertly through kickstarter. Just had to breathe. One day when we had bad connection and it all got too much, my coach simply re-scheduled. I didnt have to feel like an idiot for not "getting it" quickly

Just switch now. They are always implementing new ideas. The platform is actually easy to navigate and there are great incentives fro new users. I have also just found a local user group in JHB South Africa to get additional support from people using it. I have already personally recommended this to 6 colleagues I know will benefit.

Infusionsoft definitely has a learning curve. I know I have to put in effort up front to learn the system and best practices, but the customer service is top notch and is making every step as easy as possible.

I was one of Infusionsoft's first 300 customers, so I am a long-time user. I've trained my staff to run the software and it not only runs the marketing but also a lot of the internal workings of our law firm. I like that Infusionsoft has invested heavily not just in their software but in the entrepreneur. They aren't just a "software" company - they are a company dedicated to the success of the entrepreneur.

It can take a little while to wrap your arms around all the software can do. I personally have not found this too difficult, but others have reported that the software seems complex. Infusionsoft does have great training materials and today there are any number of "gurus" who can help you implement it for your small business. The only other thing that is sometimes frustrating is that they change a part of the software so that now I have to go look and find where they "hid" a feature. A call to customer service usually gets the answer quickly

Recommendations

You need to understand that this is not a purple pill. You can't just invest in Infusionsoft and think your life will change. You need to understand marketing in general and "Lifecycle Marketing" in particular. They will teach you but this software will do you no good if you don't have some basic understanding (or are not willing to learn) of what makes for good marketing. Whatever your business is you can probably find another business owner in your industry who is using Infusionsoft.. try to track them down..sometimes they are featured at different Infusionsoft events or in some of their marketing materials. If you can get ahold of Infusionsoft's "marketer of the year" materials, get them.. they are golden as they show the inside story of how other small biz owners are using the product.

When I first stepped into the glorious world of email marketing, I got a cheap, $19/mo service, assuming it would help us automate our email marketing to generate more subscribers, and ultimately, sales. Boy, was I wrong. For 3 years, I used low-end softwares that yielded a couple consultation requests PER WEEK. After setting up our campaign funnels in Infusionsoft, our consultation requests went to 3-5 PER DAY. Infusionsoft's sales automation tools, lead scoring, 'if this, then that' functionality, and tagging ability has turned our small email list of 1,300 to over 4,700 in 6 months and thousands of dollars in sales. Infusionsoft? More like, SalesSoft.

Although Infusionsoft has a plethora of tools, integrations and features, it can be difficult to use IF you don't have proper training or the right people running it. I've heard it a MILLION times: "Infusionsoft is Confusionsoft." It's true.. ONLY if you don't try. I'm not a consultant or specialist and even I was able to effectively build out our company funnels. If you're going to join the best CRM out there, make sure you dedicate the time to do it right.

Recommendations

Stop using Mailchimp, Aweber, Constant Contact, Get Response, or any other cheap software that only 'does the job.' Every minute you don't have PROPER, effective campaign funnels in place, you're losing out on potential sales, customers and referrals. Join the 20,000 of us doing it RIGHT.

I don't like that they automatically log out so quickly (feels like every 20 minutes) b/c I need it open all day so pain to keep signing in again. I also don't like that they make you recreate password every 3 months b/c it's a pain. My bank doesn't even do that!

The Infusionsoft software is incredibly robust, and although we are running several active campaigns with more in development, I know that we have a lot left to do! The help features have been fantastic - we've needed support on a couple of issues, and the online chat cleared it up with us very quickly. We've been thinking of ways to incorporate IS into many facets of our business, and can tell already that there is value in doing so.

Infusionsoft is great because it brings together all the functions you need under one roof. From sales to marketing and fulfillment.

Getting new features in the product and bugfixes often take a long time or simply unanswered (even reproducible bugs.) They just get dropped. They didn't used to.

Recommendations

Figure out exactly what your target situation looks like; then see if Infusionsoft can automate your existing processes. Definitely talk with other Infusionsoft users first who have been using it 2+ years before making a decision.
