Originally, we had a developer that was supposed to set up InfusionSoft for us. He has disappeared, so help support has been helping us utilize the software to it's full potential.

Functionality

It has organized our contacts, and once the system is fully in place, it should allow us to move away from other software to have everything all in one place.

Product Quality

So far, the quality is great. There have been a few small things we would like to see changed, but overall it's a great product. There are still sections we are learning.

Customer Support

They're awesome! I don't think they could do a better job than they are right now.

I like the help support. They have been simply wonderful. We were left high and dry by our developer, and help support has made the transition easier for us. We have been learning as we go, and they have been nothing more than professional and helpful.

I dislike the email functionality. I would like to see the email have settings to adjust the timing of "get mail," and I would like to see a similar setting to adjust the timing of the email sync with InfusionSoft sync for Gmail.

Recommendations

It may seem a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but tech support is there to help you through the set up and as you expand your use of the software.

Excellent product support, education, and service!

Ease-of-use

Everything is in a place that makes sense. There's a lot of transparency, and even as a new user, I didn't have to waste time hunting for things. I watched the getting started videos and participated in the beginner webinars, and that's making a huge difference since our initial training didn't happen (not InfusionSoft's fault). It's super flexible and can help users in every business.

Functionality

I'm still discovering new uses every day, but so far, so good.

Product Quality

InfusionSoft is a dedicated and passionate company and it's evident in their commitment to help their customers and their generosity with their knowledge. It makes all the difference.

Customer Support

There are so many channels of support. If you can't find help, you're not looking for it. Either way, their support should win awards. All support staff I have encountered have been knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. Their educators are thorough and helpful. They have been extremely responsive and have gone above and beyond without asking for a penny more.

I like the commitment of the company to educate the user. It's gratifying to know that there's probably a webinar for whatever you need help with and that tech support is available for those who aren't necessarily visual/tactile learners. It helps to know there's a safety net if you get stuck, as opposed to other softwares that may have a "well, you bought it-you figure it out" approach.

We went through a third-party consultant who was supposed to build and set up InfusionSoft for us based on a referral. The individual dropped off the planet mid-install and we received no training. We would have saved valuable time and saved ourselves frustration instead of thinking we had to go through that individual to get set up, and could have converted our system to InfusionSoft months ago.

Recommendations

I have had experience with three other CRM/RMS systems, and InfusionSoft blows them all away in terms of looks, ease of use, intuitiveness, and support. The openness of the community makes it easy to help yourself when you need it. Don't expect to run right out of the box. If this is your first CRM set-up, take your time and be patient. It's worth it to do it right the first time. And sign up for the webinars. You won't be sorry.

This product is good for small companies

Ease-of-use

The lead management side is very easy to work with, and I love the tie into our outlook email account. Putting together the follow up sequence email chains was a little more difficult due to the variety of sources we receive leads from and how our business operates.

Functionality

This product has provided the necessary follow up and lead management we were looking for in a CRM tool. We have also taken advantage of the mass marketing portion as well to reach out to the many leads we get through tradeshows and contact lists.

Product Quality

The product has been good. It's fairly simple to use with regards to most issues. The phone app could use a little more functionality.

Customer Support

I have called in several times to request help with doing things. The customer service reps were very knowledgeable and able to help on the phone and also provided email information to help me in the future.

We as a small company love the benefits of both managing leads as well as the opportunity to mass market under the same system. Both are very easy to do which is great from a time management perspective. The customer service is excellent. I have been very satisfied with the support I get when I call about issues or questions.

Some issues I have are the mobile app from a lead management standpoint could have more options. It allows you to add contacts and look up contacts, but trying to manage those contacts from the app is not an option. I do believe they are working on this and if they add managing leads and contacts from the app it would help for those that are more mobile in their daily schedule.

if you are looking for an all in one package, this is a great tool. We evaluated several products and felt for the size and scope of our company this was the best fit for both managing leads as well as the mass marketing and follow up scheduling capabilities.

I'd recommend using an ICP, like me! The software is easy enough at face value for anyone to use, but more technical issues need to be addressed by a specialist.

It's not working well with Chrome. Reports are a mess. The campaign builder is too complicated and scary to use.

I am impressed with InfusionSoft!

I like the way InfusionSoft is laid out intuitively, and there are little help bubbles everywhere to walk you through processes. I'd definitely take good advantage of the initial Kickstart training so you get the most out of InfusionSoft from the beginning.

It meets all of my needs, and I haven't even tried all of the bells and whistles yet!

I really like the quality not only of the product itself, but also the quality of the email templates, the look of the sales page, and so much more. It's definitely high class and professional.

Customer Support

My Kickstart trainer was awesome! He answered every question we had, and was flexible when I needed to change an appointment at the last minute. Their training options in the form of webinars and videos is outstanding.

I love that it easily handles in one place all the bits and pieces I need to keep my business running (i.e. e-commerce, mailing lists, campaigns, customer surveys and tagging, etc.) - The tutorial webinars and videos couldn't be better. I also love using Customer Hub to store my data and give membership clients reliable access to my educational materials. Thumbs UP!

Devil in the details, product module inaccurate for PNL reporting.

Ease-of-use

It's pretty basic to just fill in the blanks. For the automation responses, either hire some one or dedicate a staff person to design it.

Functionality

Again, it's as great as any other system, but bad for financial reporting due to the lack of extension in the decimal field and the refusal of InfusionSoft to repair it.

Product Quality

It's really as well made as many other CRM software. Again, it falls short in the product management module. Also you cannot change costs or pricing across the board (i.e. if you had a yearly price increase or if you have a sale on a certain group of products).

Customer Support

The response time is good on the CSR side. They just can't do much if there is anything the system doesn't do. They are great about helping you with the structured functionality, but can't change the system if it is buggy.

It is great as long as you do not use the product module to keep track of your profit and loss. The product is priced well if it worked the way we need it to in the manage product module.

The product has a few shortsighted issues. For instance, the cost field only goes to 2 decimal points. Many manufacturers charge to the third or fourth decimal point on parts or products, so this makes any reporting you do inaccurate. The system automatically "Rounds up" for you, so if your manufacturer charges $0.0651 for a product, you can use either $0.06 or $0.07. I'm unable to use it for Profit and Loss reporting, useless as it is for us. We cannot get help from them to change this and they will not credit anything back for this type of issue.

Recommendations

Be sure to check the details between the CRM you are using now against the InfusionSoft module for module and field for field.

If you are prepared to do a lot of email marketing but not a lot of blogging and social media, this is definitely your tool. If you plan on doing a lot of blogging and social media, you will have to supplement it. That is not necessarily a bad thing, just the reality.

I've used many systems in my career, especially since I've spent my entire career to date in the software industry. InfusionSoft quickly proved to be a small business platform that can truly automate your business. Whether you need to get up and running fast, or your business is complex and needs to be highly configured, InfusionSoft is still your best bet. It's so easy to setup everything from workflows, opportunities, email templates and even campaigns. The marketing automation and campaign creation was very new to me, and I quickly found out how easy it is to setup goals and the workflow needed within InfusionSoft.

My only dislike is that when you search for something, you have to specify whether its a contact or company. Many other systems don't require you to specify that information and just do a search all for you.

There is a learning curve that is not hard to understand, it just takes some time to get used to what you are looking at and understand how all the pieces fit together.

We were told it could be used as a marketing and scheduling software and keep track of our database. We found out that that was not the case. It is strictly an email marketing software that automates all your email marketing and follow-up.

Product Quality

Once you have it set up, you don't have to do anything to continue to market to that prospect.

Customer Support

Once I purchased it, it was hard to nail down training times with my success coach. He claimed he was very busy and I could only book at his convenience. He had an agenda for training and avoided answering specific questions that he knew were going to be a deal breaker till after the 30 days of training.

Infusionsoft is a very immature company. They over promised and under delivered. They offered a money back guarantee and when we got to the point in their training where it was obvious their product was not a good fit for our company, they refused to make good on their guarantee.

It is a good product if you rely heavily on an auto responder to drive your marketing. It will take a dedicated person to get the product up and running. Infusionsoft as a company is chintzy with their training time. (I suspect that is part of allowing the training to go past 30 days so they don't have to refund your money.)

The whole idea of automating a sequence of communications with prospects and customers is relatively new. Thinking through the strategy is difficult. Although, InfusionSoft makes it relatively easy to implement once you really know what you want to do.

It really does everything I need. The marketing automation and the e-commerce really work for me.

The software works and is constantly improving. I have not found anything that does not work as it is supposed to.

They answer the phone and respond to online chats. I have had all of my issues resolved.

I am able to organize all of my information about clients and prospects, but most of all, I am able to automate the process of keeping in touch with them. I have lead magnets on my homepage that links to a sequence of emails that qualify prospects and help me develop a relationship with them automatically.

This is a relatively new category, so it is kind of difficult to evaluate. I recommend figuring out what you really need and then see if InfusionSoft fits. I used their Customer Lifecycle Workbook and identified some valuable things that I could implement.

There is a learning curve, but they are doing everything they can to make it easier.

I still need SMS and responsive layouts for everything my leads will see. Most of my traffic is mobile and I'm embarrassed to send them to the pages and forms I create in InfusionSoft.

There have been some glitches that have been really scary for me. Sometimes little things that are changed in an update aren't notated in the release notes. One in particular cost us a lot of money. Had we known about it, it wouldn't have been much of an issue.

It is hit and miss. Some of the support people know their stuff and some seem to be reading from an instruction manual that I've already gone through.
