Navigation is easy; I like the dashboard. Being able to set up email blasts and track them took no time at all.

InfusionSoft Rocks!

Ease-of-use

Once you spend some time in the software, it is pretty intuitive.

Functionality

It will do almost everything we need it to do. On the occasion that we have needed something that InfusionSoft couldn't do, we have been able to find a workaround to get close to the desired outcome.

Product Quality

The user interface is intuitive. It is easy to get into the nuts and bolts of the campaigns and tweak things as needed. It's very user-friendly. The feedback it gives regarding tracking email marketing is great!

Customer Support

Anytime I have needed assistance, the help desk has been there with answers. On a few occasions, I have had to wait up to 10-15 minutes for assistance to be ready, but usually, it is really quick. The help desk folks have been ready with solutions every time.

InfusionSoft has really streamlined our marketing efforts, making it much easier to track leads, as well as organize and stay on top of follow up efforts. Their initial strategy coaching was super helpful in getting our campaigns up and running. Anytime I have had questions or wasn't sure about something, the InfusionSoft help desk has been really helpful in finding solutions.

The only thing I would rate poorly is the initial learning curve of getting used to a marketing software. We jumped from excel sheets and outlook calendars to InfusionSoft, and the transition was a bit uncomfortable for a few members of our marketing team.

Recommendations

Take a look at the basic functionality of the software. If that meets your needs, then focus on the bells and whistles. For us, this software has been great!

It's very intutitive and does not overcomplicate things. The basics of everyday use are super easy to find and work.

There are just a few areas that we struggle with where it could be more integrated. Some aspects are more focused on individual customers and not on institutions like we deal with regularly.

It's always up and running. Improvements are seamless, and the online university exceptional.

They are easy to contact. Support is great. Salespeople know the product and provide good information.

Having used some of the bigger named CRMs at large companies, I find InfusionSoft to be exceptional. It doesn't clutter you with data, although you can mine all you want. It also doesn't make my sales reps think they are supposed to be sitting at their computers all day updated pipelines. The integration of E-Commerce and Marketing tools is awesome for a small business. The help and support offered through online videos and webinars is really good.

Great. InfusionSoft makes it very to easy to navigate through your day-to-day tasks, as well as the design pieces.

InfusionSoft is a very business-friendly, easy-to-navigate CRM. Everything is at the click of a drop-down menu, and it allows you to add the important pieces to your dashboard. Developing email templates and creating campaigns for customers is simple and not a lengthy process. It allows you to see your day at a glance and the recent activity from contacts. Another great feature is the live chat option, which is a great way to get the answers to questions you may have.

A few things I would like added to InfusionSoft would be in the area of reporting. It would be nice to have a report for individual tags rather than the full list. Being able to pull an activity report per email template would also be helpful.

Recommendations

When we were evaluating CRMs, a major concern of ours was ensuring there would be adequate customer support with adequate learning resources and actual people behind the system. Our last CRM offered the software, but if you ran into problems, there was no one to help or guide you to the solution or resources.
Also, look for ease of use. If it looks difficult and time-consuming in the demo, it probably will be once you start using it.
Make sure to have a product demonstration from an actual person. Have them walk you through all the various pieces. If they are not willing to provide you with a product walkthrough because your company is too small, that shows that amount of customer service you will receive.

We used InfusionSoft for two years. It was a huge waste of time and money.

Ease-of-use

It was easy enough to use but not a productive use of time.

Functionality

They have a locked-down API that doesn't let the user do even the simplest things.

We get calls sporadically throughout the day. We wanted to tie our incoming calls to the files of the customers. Unfortunately, InfusionSoft had a mandatory built-in log off after every 15 minutes of inactivity. When we contacted them to change it because we were losing data. They said no and that it was there for our security. We didn't need a babysitter; we needed a product that was useful and InfusionSoft has continually failed to meet this mark.

Product Quality

It didn't work. Worse yet, they knew about problems like the lack of live shipping rates for several years. We found others in the past with this problem and a manager saying that it would be fixed. Years have passed with nothing.

Customer Support

They were happy to stay on the phone with an empathetic tone and no ability to help. More wasted time. We sent a lot of money to this company, but that is small compared to the value of the time we wasted working with them.

There is no easy way to integrate live shipping rates fro USPS or FedEx. We were sold InfusionSoft as a complete system that could integrate our digital sales and physical sales.

Their $2000 quick start program was the first sign of a train wreck for us. It consisted of several scheduled meetings to learn what the software could do. I had made it clear that I was not the person that was going to be using the software, and we should wait until our new media manager was settled in. This did not fit their boiler plate solution. I asked for the training to be recorded so that the person that was going to be using the software could at least listen. They agreed but then failed to mention that the recordings would be erased after a month.

Recommendations

Look for another system if you sell any physical products. If you only sell Affiliate digital products then consider another less expensive software that will probably fit you as well and save you money. I cringe at the hours my staff spent wasting time trying to get to real answers from this company.

It only runs on Firefox. It is very complicated, and while the support staff will assist you, the only in-depth, detailed, hands-on training is very expensive.

Recommendations

Unless you have a dedicated person or a great deal of time to commit to learning the complete program, set up campaigns (some for additional purchase), and perform daily maintenance and building out, this may not be the software for you. Don't jump on any deals you find at seminars until you have the time and resources to see this through.

Otherwise, all the training will end, and you won't have anything done. The subscription is a lot of money, and it's a complete waste if you don't have collateral to send out.

InfusionSoft is the cake! It helps to unlock the subconscious sales mind in its users. We have become more creative and cost-effective with our sales strategy within just 6 months of working with InfusionSoft. The Sales Automation feature, with its campaign building facility, not only makes sales efficient, but it's also a fun way to build the structures themselves.

The support desk is the Icing! What I like the best about InfusionSoft over any other supplier we use is its amount of support via the training hub and the superb help desk.

In the early months of having InfusionSoft it can become a little overwhelming. Perhaps more included support in the first two months as opposed to having to pay extra for it would have made for a better experience.

Should name it ConfusionSoft

It's user-friendly after the learning curve. It is not designed for Real Estate and tracking properly after the sale. For example, you cannot not track a customer having more than one property.

It doesn't meet my needs, as it didn't do several basic things needed for real estate. Again, it's designed for traditional businesses selling products on the internet, not real estate.

Product Quality

It does some basic functions, but it's not thought out for real estate. For the NADA add-on, we spent numerous hours fixing and solving their problems, and we still had to pay each month. NADA should have paid us or at least not charged us until they had the add-on system 100%

Their customer support is pretty good.

I can customize the flowcharts for followup and marketing.

It's designed more for websites that sell products online, and everything that is an add-on (which is a lot) has a high cost associated with it.

Looks are very deceiving. It's fancy and clean-looking, but it's actually far less comprehensive, connected, and intuitive, as well as more complicated, than a variety of other options.

It's older, slower, and less intuitive with more moving parts.

Customer Support

This is the worst part. They acted nice, but they did not seem to be based on the needs of people seeking this type of solution. For a product this critical to your business, you cannot afford to partner with someone who doesn't really seem to care about you, especially when there are better options available.

There's nothing I like. It's more expensive, more complicated, and less user-friendly by far than so many other quality companies and software options. There is nothing to like here, if you are one who actually shops for options. Their customer service is horrible.

They don't see to care about actually delivering honest business value. It's amazing they charge the prices they charge. Only non-shoppers would choose them. I made a big mistake starting down that path.

Recommendations

The upfront promises did not match with the back-end experience, and we felt like we were slowly trapped into dollars and time which would have been far better spent toward other products and organizations.

Beware of fatal errors

Ease-of-use

The navigation is confusing. There are a lot of dead ends, meaning things you can't do without buying some add-on product once you get into building campaigns, landing pages, voice, text, etc.

Functionality

The database was corrupted, which makes it not very functional at all.

Product Quality

Most any top-tier solution will at least get you back to the last save, regardless of what kind of error you encounter, but not this one.

Customer Support

They are good people, but it took days to hear back on a situation that was critical.

InfusionSoft is a great idea. They have a good approach for a basic CRM solution. Unfortunately, they do not have a proven backend database to support a cloud-based solution.

There exists the possibility that you will lose everything and the circumstances causing this issue cannot be explained other than "there were too many windows open at the same time". This, according to InfusionSoft support, is rare, which is fine unless it happens to you. Also, once they have your money, they are not going to give it back. We were in production for 30 days before a catastrophic error. So it ended up being a very expensive trial.

Recommendations

Only consider it if you can handle the risk of losing your campaigns and other customization. Also, response time for support is extremely slow. This cannot be a mission critical solution. They are growing faster than they are able to support the solution. I would encourage you to look at other, more mature solutions or give them a couple years and then take a look.

When you realize what they were building with this, you soon realize it is a very powerful product with significant effort being made constantly to make it more user-friendly.

Every time I have had a question or problem understanding how to use this tool best, the people at the company have always gone above and beyond to support me. The people I have spoken with at this office have been professional, friendly, and clearly focused on helping me stay on track.

While I checked into how long it would take to become proficient in this software before I purchased it, my time to utilization was fairly long. It reminds me of the first time I ever used WordPerfect. It took forever just to get started and get beyond a blank screen. Then, as I got proficient at it, I hated giving it up. InfusionSoft is very similar. Thinking of it as marketing software may be underserving your own expectations. It is really more like a marketing operating system.

Recommendations

They will offer you - or even insist on getting - professional help to start using the software. See if you can't negotiate attendance at the InfusionSoft University instead. Maybe it was just me, but my capabilities increased dramatically at the University.

Pay attention to two things when evaluating this product. How does it mold to the way you market today? Secondly, how much does your business need to rework its marketing to meet the advent of the internet and the predisposition of buyers to find you online before ever contacting you? I believe InfusionSoft is one of the best at converting people searching for information online to people who will buy from you, but it is not necessarily a simple process.
