We feel as though this product stood out from others evaluated with regards to its logical, intuitive and, yes, simple, structure and user interface. This version of CRM covers all of the essential tools (and not all options do): Contacts, Leads, Accounts, Opportunities Management, Tasks Tracking, Performance Reporting. Additionally, and critically important, is that it also has Marketing Campaign modules, which will allow us to leverage the leads and accounts database for e-mail and digital marketing campaigns for promotion of products, features, events, etc.
In addition to the user interface being very logical and intuitive, it also permits a fairly wide latitude for customizing the data fields for contacts, accounts, opportunities and reporting – which will be critically important for performance metrics tracking and reporting (there is an extensive menu of default reports, plus we can design our own custom versions). We can easily set up data fields to capture attributes for segment distributors, direct sales customers and market and product segments, for example. The straightforward and simple user interface should help as we add peer and support staff who will also need to adopt the use of the system – hopefully, reducing confusion and errors. Their customer support has been fairly responsive so far, even when you are at the Free Level.

As the owner, the manager, the sales rep, the customer service rep, in charge of returns, customer issues, I am the definition of jack of all trades. My business is just starting, but I realized it doesn't mean its not worthy of using quality software to help me save a few minutes here and a few minutes there. I was hesitant at first to go with any software because I kept saying to myself who needs management software when you are the only employee! But after getting some serial numbers mixed up with customers names one time... That was it! I needed help running my online business. I tried several different products. Started out using Team Viewer but then about fell out of my chair at the price. Used a Live Chat program for a while. But I cant always be at a desk waiting for that customer to hit the chat button. Then other CRM's were so bloated with stuff that just didn't make sense to my business. Then I spotted Really Simple Systems. The name is what got my foot in the door. I figured heck lets give it a try. So glad I did!
Has just enough information that its not redundant. I love the pay as you go approach. Instead of bogging us down with several hundred dollars worth of software we may never use, or even worse free versions that don't cover enough services to make you want to start using their products at all! I wanted a product that tells me what happened, when and how I did something, to whom and when, what the outcome was, and will then continue to bug me if I haven't done it yet.
Would like to see more third party integrations. Now days it seems like almost every app, software, smart phone, computer, tablet, printer, etc connect to each other somehow.
As I tell employees, friends, family, with anything you really got to give it time to decide if you like it, love it, or truly hate it. Give it two weeks. What do you got to loose?

I like the fact that it's free up to a limited number rather than time. As a new start business the system has helped me keep track of my prospects and successfully turning them into customers by the time I reach 100 customers I will be able to justify the subscription.
I haven't found any negatives as yet but I am only a small business and not really using to the max.
Try it. It will only take five minutes to set up and you could be richer for it!

I like the interface of this software; it's clean, readable and the interface is intuitive. I was able to customize the software on a basic level to suit my needs entirely.
The fact that it's an opensource (free) product, until you require extra services, makes it very appealing.
One thing I like about the vendor, in particular, is the tuition and the tutorial resources available. This creates a sense of a whole package and made me feel like I really had got something for nothing.
I understand that the product is in early stages, so this should be read more as a point of recommendation, but the vendor should try to enable some integrations with other software (it's suggested that this is on the horizon for RSS). This is something which is very specific to my business (accountancy), but until that stage, this is where other CRMs (even if it means paying from the start) will win the custom, including mine. Seamless workflow is almost unparalleled in this respect
On a side note, I find the colouring of the UI a little dark and depressing. The UI is easy but not very cheery (dark blue and black...)
Make sure you make yourself aware of the customizable features of this software - it's easy to overlook the utility of a product like this for your business without realising how extensively one can tailor it to suit their needs almost entirely.
You will get much more back from this product if you use it to it's full capacity and put lots into it, train your staff or users to use the software constantly to a strict set of guidelines and you can't fail.

The system is easy to use, it's flexible so you can adjust the headings and drop downs, we use the e-mail sync too which is hugely useful. It's the place where we go for all our client contact and management information now.
Tried the marketing module about a year ago, it's been updated since then but we found it a bit clunky and not significantly different to some of the cheaper alternatives, although of course, they wouldn't integrate with the client information. We would store documents in RSS too but 100Mb is not that much and at the price per month per 100Mb, our monthly cost would ramp up quite quickly.
We are quite sure this system is capable of doing far more than we will need of it. The bits we use are just what we need, they work well, we've never had any issues with it and when we've needed any help it's be quick and efficient. We've never even considered looking at competitor systems for the day to day management of client contact and management.

As a UK based company it feels better to be dealing with a UK CRM system with a UK team behind it. The price/range of features is attractive and it is easy to use.

The system itself is easy to edit and set up exactly how I want it to be. I have been able to tailor it to my own specific Sales and Marketing plan. The system is very flexible and very easy to set up and use.
Some of the integration on the marketing suit could be better. For example I would like to be able to set a task up n the sales suit on the back of a marketing response easier.
Know what you want it to do. Understand your own Sales and Marketing process, what do you want to measure, what do you need to search ect.
Use the Free trial offers! Create a short list of potential suppliers and try before you buy, that way you know what you are getting.

Integration with MS Outlook is not as good as Salesforce - but the price is a lot less!!
Try the free version, allow time to play with configuration. With a bit of effort you really can get something that has 80% of the utility of Salesforce at a tenth of the price.

The Marketing Module is no where near as simple and easy to pick up as the sales module and I would like to be able to save a list of regular contacts for my marketing campaigns instead of having to and find them using "if" statements.
Get the support team to call and walk you through the marketing module, it made a lot more sense after that

Its restrictive to us because of the cost for extra data, and multi users, yes its really helpful but the cost structure, if you have multiple 1000's of customers and 6 user could be high. (we have 3 users, just over 1000 customer, with all the marketing and bespoke tools etc etc £121 ex vat Per month. (still worth it as its a great system, just wish I could add all my customers on to the CRM, all 6000 plus.)
Just look about on line, its easy to get other options/demo's BUT non of them appear to be as easy to use as this system.

The software is easy to use and navigate through. I love the fact that it can be tailored to meet your specific needs as this was very important to me and one of the factors that played an important role in me choosing RSS. Functionality is great and there are a lot of extra options that are available that I can switch on and off as and when I require them.
The customer service/support is slow at times and this becomes very frustrating. I have scheduled in calls in the past and the client service level has been poor where on occasions I have had to chase support for help. In terms of the software it is great that you add extra features but there are some extras which I feel should be included within the standard packages.
Trial the free use of RSS and get a good feel for the system prior to committing. It's great to understand RSS and build on the services that you require from it. The fact that you can tailor your packages on a pay as you go method is abosolutely great and gives me the flexibility I need to meet my daily business routines.
