ADP Workforce Now is a human capital management solution for companies with more than 50 employees. The core capabilities of the solution include human resources management, payroll, benefits, talent management, compliance, time and labor management and analytics and benchmarking.

The fully integrated suite is built on a single database, which automates data synchronization across different components and helps users to minimize manual administrative tasks. The platform also integrates with other HR and business applications via the ADP Marketplace and APIs.

With ADP Workforce Now, clients also receive self-service tools for employees and manager, such as the widely used ADP Mobile app, to access paychecks, W-2s, timecards, benefit information and more; proactive compliance and regulatory alerts; external perspectives on making HR and business decisions with the help of ADP Benchmarking, the ADP Research Institute and ADP Professional Services; and access to a client community with more than 50,000 peers.

Customer service operators are always patient and friendly. More often then not, they tried diligently to assist.

Cons

Very difficult to extract information for one time reports. Also, difficult to know what was filed with agencies.

We previously used a different payroll provider, and I am in love with ADP! As a payroll specialist, it is important to have a payroll system that is integrated with HR as well as just payroll information. We are able to keep all of our benefits, HR, payroll and employee information all in one place. It is very easy to use and provides us with more features with every upgrade !

Pros

I like that everything is integrated and it is easy to use.

Cons

Support can take a while to solve an issue, but is overall knowledgeable about the day to day use of ADP WFN.

I find that even though the product can apparently offer a lot, it seems to lack a lot as well. I believe that there is more that ADP can offer us for our HR and Finance department.

Pros

It can be very user friendly
layout is decent

Cons

The customer support is lacking. It seems that whenever there is an issue with ADP and we call in for support we seem to get he run around and no one on the ADP end of things can fully answer our issues or it takes them a while to get back to us.

Customer Support, no one seems to know the product. You call in four or five times with the same question and can get four or five different answers.

I use the payroll, Time & Attendance and HRB. I have been a client of ADP for 30 years+!! My Mother started with calling in the information to ADP every week! Then I came into the business and we went from manual phone calls to a computerized system. It was called PC Payroll. A great payroll package. Then approx 1 1/4 years ago, we were told that PC Payroll is being discontinued and we made the switch to WFN. We started at Version 2 and we are now, we are at Version 13 - with Version 14 soon to happen. A very happy client.

Pros

1. I am the admin of the payroll dept. it is my responsibility and i run it weekly. Once I learn how to do the functions, it works very well.
2. Customer support is second to none! Truly excellent!
3. The program does a lot - with many features. Upgrades are starting to be more frequent - which is a good thing.
4. They have support system which is called "The Bridge". all users are connected to it. you can ask a question and it will be answered by another user or even am ADP employee.
5. Wish list: It is very powerful program. There are very many features. Many of them i know and many of them, i don't even know they are there. I wish there was a document available that goes through the whole WFN and lists and describes ALL the features available - whether they are standard or offered only as on option. Just let me know about it!!!

Cons

During the December and beginning of January, the hold time can be very long. i have been on hold for over 45 minutes. i am really hoping that it will be corrected.

Our holding corporation has numerous companies reporting to it. This makes for complexity that ADP has done their best to help us mitigate.

Pros

The best thing about using ADP Workforce Now is that we don't worry about inaccurate payroll processing. All compliance reporting for Federal and numerous States is filed timely. Additionally, we use New Hire Reporting, Wage Garnishments and Essential ACA. That saves us time to devote to moving our company forward. Our Executive Relationship Manager and District Sales Manager are very responsive to our inquiries and are partners in helping our company achieve its goals. We generally have good success with Customer Support and like the flexibility of on-line training.

Cons

It takes a long time to learn all the features and options of the system. During certain times of the year wait times for Customer Service are excessive.

I believe this to be the best option for payroll and will help reduce time spent on trying to figure out reports.

Pros

I like the ease of use how it is setup for viewing the different functions and screens. I like the new feature for employee pay stubs with the app to download to phone and being able to view schedule and request vacation etc. The employees can create their own ID and password as well as reset themselves which saves a lot of inquiries in Payroll.

Cons

The time and attendance could use a little boost in comparison to what is available with Kronos time and attendance program. If Workforce Now could drill down to include time spent on multiple projects for any given employee or group of employees.
