iCIMS has the best thus far reporting generator and capabilities and features. This program is very user-friendly and customer service is awesome as well.

I am an iCIMS Administrator at a company with 1500 employees and the ability to customize all aspects of the system is great. I'm able to put locks on what hiring managers can see and what different login groups have access to. The reporting capability is robust however, we would like more visually pleasing graphs for the hiring managers. iCIMS is integrated with our payroll software and it's seamless. I really don't have any complaints about iCIMS.

Easy to use, Customization, Help Desk is always helpful.

Cons

Reporting should be more visually pleasing.

I have been using iCims for about a year now and I'm not really impressed. The software is not very user-friendly and hardly any of my hiring managers can figure out how to use the product. I am limited on how many hiring managers can be set up with log-ons which isn't great for us. I wish there were opportunities for us to come train in person because I'm sure there are features I'm missing that just don't stand out right off the bat. This product is also really pricey for what we use it for.

Cost, ease-of-use, lack of training opportunities

Advice to Others

You will need to have several training sessions for your hiring managers unless they are computer-savvy; in which case they may be fine with a quick tutorial.

iCIMS has been great to work with from day one. Although we do not use the software to its full capacity due to being a smaller company, we really appreciate how it can accommodate a smaller (100ee) company. Their reporting is top notch and although they need to improve some small functionalities - they are working constantly to always improve and they Listen! to your recommendations.

Does not integrate with SEEK, app doesn't work on iTunes Australia and consultants/helpdesk struggle with providing support with the time difference - would not recommend progressing if you live outside of the USA bubble.

This product is extremely user friendly, very easy to use. Evening getting some computer lacking hiring managers trained on this software was extremely easy. if you can use an android phone or apple, this is just as easy to learn.

The product does what I need it to do but isn't all that efficient in functionality

The "job posting" piece that is claims to have produces almost no candidates for me. The views are not user friendly.

Advice to Others

Its an okay product if you have a small operation like ours but if you have a ton of open positions and need to fill stuff quickly it will not be the best option. It is cheap so that is always good but you get what you pay for.

I will say iCims is probably one of the best talent platforms I have ever used. It takes functionality to a whole new level. It helped speed up the process from checking three different sites (Application, background and video interviews) I will say that using this tool in sync with Ultipro is awesome! All the things you need to have all your application and new hire paperwork are in one spot. The backend items spoke with Ultipro and everything just went to a smooth transition. I will say working with this system is a system I would push to use at any company I am doing talent management with.

We recently implemented iCIMS at NYU a few months ago as our recruitment software for staff and administrative positions. So far, I am really enjoying using iCIMS. It integrates with our current HRIS (Workday) seamlessly. The customization, reporting features and search functionalities are great, there's so many things you can do. I also love that you can schedule interviews directly on the iCIMS platform.

Pros

iCIMS is cloud based so you can access it from anywhere, user-friendly interface, helps differentiate internal and external applicants, all the on boarding paperwork we used to do via email or manually can now all be done directly in iCIMS which helps keep everything organized and consistent, it's great you can customize job postings since we have different Schools within NYU each with their own branding, and lastly it's great that you can group people together and mass download applications and send them to hiring managers.

iCIMS took a long time to configure, but it was well worth it. Everyone on their team is available for answering questions and troubleshooting and have been extremely friendly and responsive since Day One.

Pros

Ease of searchability, excellent email templates, huge libraries of files and questions.

Cons

Emails sent through the software often get sent to junk or spam folders.

Advice to Others

iCIMS is definitely more expensive than a lot of other softwares we researched and does not have the most attractive platform - however, it is a very powerful tool that can be harnessed with more ease than its competitors.
