The Jobvite solution supports every stage of the recruiting funnel from sourcing to on-boarding. Hire is an applicant tracking platform. Brand delivers career site experiences across desktop mobile, internal, and social platforms. The Refer module offers a way for employees to share open job opportunities across their social networks. Jobvite's Engage is a Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) system that provides sourcing and relationship tools to find, track, manage, and grow talent pools. Jobvite Video is an on-demand video-screening tool that’s built directly into the platform. The software's Java-based open architecture provide security and scalability.

That, if used to its full extent, it can be a one stop shop for all recruiting needs.

I sometimes have issues searching for a candidate's name if they are assigned to multiple requisitions, and will have to do a search within requisitions to find the role i know they applied for.

Recommendations

Really spend the time getting to know the software and how it will work best for you, coupled with existing HR software. We don't use Jobvite to its full extent, but are still pleased with the functions it does provide.

Jobvite is quick to respond and resolve any issues or questions that may arise. Easy to use product and easy to train our employees and managers as well.

Likes Least

You are unable to edit or stop some of the communications from being sent as they are sent from the system automatically. Also, since we have two subsidiaries under once account, some things get mixed up and emails list the wrong company. Hopefully that will change as more revisions of the product come out.

Recommendations

Always review back to the notes/training's that your implementation manager sent you.

Jobvite is great for talent acquisition. it helps with all levels of recruiting. it provides option to manage all data for jobs and even for candidates when they apply online. Easy to use system with good features.

Good for hiring. I don't see any issue with this system as of now. Works fine fro HR department.

Things aren't always as "intuitive" as I think they should be. Also, there are things that only Jobvite employees can change or edit that really should be changed by us.

Recommendations

Evaluate the full functionality of moving someone through the process, do trial runs before you commit.

Recommendations

Following Jobvite's format of their knowledge center where they take the recommendations of its customers and allow other customers to vote yes/no for them and take that into consideration is critical. This is a fantastic way of listening to their customers.

It is easy to retrieve past requisitions and past candidates. Also, most of the people I have spoken with from the customer support center have been helpful.

While it's nice to be able to customize things, I wish there were more options for templates/processes that we could just use, instead of having to create it all from scratch. Also, I wish there was a way to edit/revise things as I was working on them, rather than having to go back to a certain page. For example, when I'm sending a candidate a message and pull up a template, I wish I had the option to make a change and then apply that change to the overall template.

The ability to integrate with other systems, especially the interviewers' calendars to see availability.

There are glitches *everywhere*, and much of the time when I capture the background code and screenshots and do everything I can, tech support seems to be unable to replicate an error even when it happens consistently for me. There isn't enough customization ability, especially with things like rescheduling, auto-filling data into messages, and the widgets. It needs to have a better general UI and give more options to present the information in an intuitive and useful way.

For example, a recent candidates list. And a list of all of the interviews you've scheduled. The ability to pin specific candidates and reqs to the dashboard. Basic customization that I feel isn't that difficult to write in unless you have really bad base code.

The emails are also awful. 928369645981374981@jobvite.com is unprofessional and it might be my biggest pet peeve.

Recommendations

Honestly, you won't know what you need from a software like this until you're using it to schedule or manage reqs and candidates. The basics are candidate data, sourcing, interview scheduling, and offers. Ease of use from there up depends on what you're doing with it.

What I enjoy most about this product is that nearly everything you would need is available in one location. The tasks feature is also useful when working with initial candidate contact.

Managing tasks essentially requires another system, electronic or otherwise. There is not a built in feature where you can update your progress on completing a task and it can be difficult to stay on top of tasks without a better tracking system.

Recommendations

I find that the best way to use Jobvite is to be very hands-on with the program when first learning. You have to be willing to explore the options that are provided as all the features will be readily visible.

In addition to the features, I really like how the company is forward-looking and insightful on the state of recruiting and issues companies face. The product itself is a collaboration tool that engages the entire company in solving talent acquisition challenges which makes it ideally suited for our needs.

I do like the new integrated LinkedIn feature, but there isn't too much that stands out. The customer support that I've received is always really great and the employees ensure that they've helped with all my issues.

I don't like that it doesn't have a mass emailing function or that when you send out an invitation to an interview, the candidate does not receive a calendar invite on their Outlook or Gmail calendar.

Recommendations

If you are looking for an easy to use reporting function, this is not your product. If you are looking for a basic ATS, then this could be an option.

its tracking method and workflows! I like that other users can be tracked in the workflow, but don't have to log into jobvite to do so. They can approve a candidate to the next step without logging in.

It was very easy to use. The product is intuitive and after a little training you can start using it pretty quickly.

Their customer service. I used them for two years and when it came time to decide on a new service I chose another ATS.

Recommendations

It is cheaper and the software does have a good UI. However if you have any problems don't be surprised if their customer service team takes days to get back to you or if you call multiple times about an issue they are not on the same page.

user-friendly, has a lot of potential, but many features are not active. Haven't had much interaction with the vendor directly.

It doesn't synch completely with our back-end system for HRIS. Synch time is set at three hour intervals; at times it doesn't even synch, especially on weekends. I've heard that it's been difficult to reach a live person to assist us with our needs.

Recommendations

Customer service is key and would encourage you to really do a deep dive and understand your user's needs and recommend the best possible product for them. In my previous job, I short-listed Jobvite as a possible ATS for the company. However, decided to go with the other company instead, due to customer experience.

pretty intuitive for the most part. Now if we could integrate Workday and Jobvite better it would be better for us.

Searching on JV can sometimes not produce good results. Pages will often revert back to a former req even though you are in the req looking at candidates.

Recommendations

Go to the front line users...just like this and keep taking notes. Get your UX team involved more by visiting sites that use the product.
