EZOfficeInventory is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed for companies of all sizes. It offers barcode scanning, supplier management, re-order management, purchasing and usage tracking, all within a suite.

The inventory management functionality of the software allows users to track inventory levels using QR codes and barcode tags. EZOfficeInventory features a mobile app with barcode and QR code scanning functionality, which allows users to track their inventory using tablet and smartphone devices.

A key feature of EZOfficeInventory is its GPS tracking capabilities, which allow users to track items’ location. This feature helps users track all of their assets on an interactive map and easily identify lost and misplaced assets. The software also offers a REST-based API that integrates with other REST-based systems.

With the help of customized reporting and dashboards to track and monitor all the assets, users are able to analyze historical inventory data and make good decisions regarding their inventory management practices.

Control over all the inventory items on my event based business.

Cons

I am still implementing the system and I haven't got into full production mode.
The label printing feature works works better on Macs than on PCs and my office has PCs. No big deal though.

Our inventory tracking was abysmal, but this software allowed us to import from previous excel sheets and got us rolling towards proper inventory tracking almost instantly for a good price. We've just begun rolling it out at all of our facilities.

Pros

I like the ability to categorize different types of inventory based on use or location. That gives us the options to have multiple like items in multiple locations.

Cons

I wish there were way to add serial numbers for items in bulk\consumable inventory. We have multiple SSDs that are used and need to be tracked.

Pros

Photographs of products, important info at a glance, QR scanning, mobile app and computer based system, ability to select other users if your helping someone out.

Cons

information updating is a little confusing, transferring stuff and checking stuff out can get confusing.

Using EZ Office has helped us organize and catalog our equipment. It has provided ours office with a clear path to collect and record revenue generated from these assets. It has also made the sharing of our equipment in our company easier.

Pros

The assets list very helpful when selecting multiple items for check! Being able to separate equipment by different locations is also very helpful.

Cons

I would like if the calendar was larger and provided information inside the cells about assets checked out.

Allows us to track equipment throughout the company

Pros

Easy to find most equipment once entered. Being able to search by item serial number or our assigned barcode ID makes find assets simple. Barcode scanner via the app is awesome

Cons

It seems a bit dated in its functionality at times. The custom reporting functions are very clunky and not real intuitive. You have know your search criteria exactly or you get nothing when you do the search. If I highlight some assets and try to do a report it should recognize this and not report on the entire database

Ability to run reports and schedule in advance. This has been mission critical for our team here in LA and in our Sunnyvale Headquarters. I love the iOS app and use it daily. This has allowed us to truly be mobile.

Cons

Dependency on internet explorer to print. I am a Mac user and need to run boot camp in order to interface with my zebra printer. Be great if there were more label templates that I could use or customize.

Pros

The app is easy for our employees to use and it was pretty easy to make QR Codes for our products which will save us time.

Cons

It doesn't do everything we need it to. Also the terms that eZOffice uses are not self explanatory and are jargon which is hard coming into it.
It is not clear what an asset vs the other two options are.

Pros

Overall this is a great software to organize your business assets. What I like most is be able to organize the Asset by group.

Cons

Although our rep has been very helpful, I'm not sure why there's not a general support phone number when you have a quick question.

Being able to track our in house inventory and being able to track our assets as well.

Pros

That I can use both inventory and assets. A lot of software companies only have one or the other. I also like that there is an app that is included with the package. There is no need to go out and buy scanners. That is a huge thing.

Cons

That every time you add inventory, that same item is recreated. I also don't like how the emails are set up when someone checks out an item.

It is solving our stock and asset location issues. It's much easier to use than our old spreadsheet system.

Pros

Still getting used to it but so far I love how easy it is to set up. Everything is user friendly for the most part.

Cons

I don't understand the notifications about stock levels. We have threshold levels set at 0, low qty levels set at 1 and I'm getting alerts when the stock gets down to 2 on some items. I'm not understanding why. I will keep tweaking it and see if I can get it to correct.

Pros

I don't need a spreadsheet for inventory anymore! The ability to mass import was a lifesaver, too. I also plan on using the QR scan code function for checking things in and out, which will be great.
