EZOfficeInventory is a cloud-based inventory management solution designed for companies of all sizes. It offers barcode scanning, supplier management, re-order management, purchasing and usage tracking, all within a suite.

The inventory management functionality of the software allows users to track inventory levels using QR codes and barcode tags. EZOfficeInventory features a mobile app with barcode and QR code scanning functionality, which allows users to track their inventory using tablet and smartphone devices.

A key feature of EZOfficeInventory is its GPS tracking capabilities, which allow users to track items’ location. This feature helps users track all of their assets on an interactive map and easily identify lost and misplaced assets. The software also offers a REST-based API that integrates with other REST-based systems.

With the help of customized reporting and dashboards to track and monitor all the assets, users are able to analyze historical inventory data and make good decisions regarding their inventory management practices.

Pros

Ability to run reports and schedule in advance. This has been mission critical for our team here in LA and in our Sunnyvale Headquarters. I love the iOS app and use it daily. This has allowed us to truly be mobile.

Cons

Dependency on internet explorer to print. I am a Mac user and need to run boot camp in order to interface with my zebra printer. Be great if there were more label templates that I could use or customize.

Inventory Tracking

Pros

The app is easy for our employees to use and it was pretty easy to make QR Codes for our products which will save us time.

Cons

It doesn't do everything we need it to. Also the terms that eZOffice uses are not self explanatory and are jargon which is hard coming into it.
It is not clear what an asset vs the other two options are.

Be able to organize the assets

Pros

Overall this is a great software to organize your business assets. What I like most is be able to organize the Asset by group.

Cons

Although our rep has been very helpful, I'm not sure why there's not a general support phone number when you have a quick question.

Being able to track our in house inventory and being able to track our assets as well.

Pros

That I can use both inventory and assets. A lot of software companies only have one or the other. I also like that there is an app that is included with the package. There is no need to go out and buy scanners. That is a huge thing.

Cons

That every time you add inventory, that same item is recreated. I also don't like how the emails are set up when someone checks out an item.

Easy way to keep track of everything of worth for the company.

Pros

The software is easy to use and any time I have a question customer support gets back to me in a very timely fashion.

Cons

There are a few features that the mobile app doesn't have yet that would make it easier for us in the field to look things up.

It is solving our stock and asset location issues. It's much easier to use than our old spreadsheet system.

Pros

Still getting used to it but so far I love how easy it is to set up. Everything is user friendly for the most part.

Cons

I don't understand the notifications about stock levels. We have threshold levels set at 0, low qty levels set at 1 and I'm getting alerts when the stock gets down to 2 on some items. I'm not understanding why. I will keep tweaking it and see if I can get it to correct.

It's pretty intuitive and easy to use though so I can't think of many cons right now.

Pros

I don't need a spreadsheet for inventory anymore! The ability to mass import was a lifesaver, too. I also plan on using the QR scan code function for checking things in and out, which will be great.

Pros

The software is very intuitive and easy to use. It has allowed us to manage our inventory, which prior to EZOffice we didn't have anything.

Cons

It would be nice if some the features for the higher end packages were offered in the lower packages. We a small business and don't have more than 200 items to manage.

By far the best thing is the calendar option. It shows you what is checked out, what is available, and what is reserved. This is incredibly helpful for users to look at the availability for checking out devices.

There's also an option for create "packages" or "bundles" - these two options basically allow you to link together multiple device/peripherals and check them out all at once instead of individually.

There are also abilities to get as specific as you like with grouping and filtering to see what's available when.

But by far the best feature is the calendaring option. I had searched for quite a while and couldn't find anything like it .

Cons

The import of excel sheets for mass check in and out is kind of annoying, but just a step you have to build into your workflow. So it's not to big of a deal. However, if this is going to be the route for the foreseeable future, I think using the excel sheets should be able to be used for creating packages too. This way we wont have to manually enter in each item in the package.

The ability to track our own inventory items as well as use the program to track all products bought for out massive installment projects.

Pros

The program is definitely easy to use on a computer and looks good on an iPad. The ability to scan in the items and later enter the quantities for us has been extremely helpful.

Cons

I do not like that items cannot be added in through the tablet application. I also do not like that only the original creator of the application can mass delete items. I also wish that customer support was more responsive and had a phone number, which is clearly stated, for someone to call. Right now the only way I've noticed to reach out is through email.
