iKnowMed EHR Software

iKnowMed EHR is a best-of-breed electronic medical records system built specifically for the needs of oncologists and hematologists. Developed by McKesson Specialty Health with a “by-oncologists-for-oncologists” approach, the system is in use by almost 1,000 physicians across the United States. The program is continuously updated and improved by an oncologist-led Product Development Committee that suggests and prioritizes the development of new product features.

In addition to straightforward EHR functionality for tracking patient demographics, patient histories, e-prescribing, charge capture, and SOAP notes, iKnowMed supports all of the oncology-specific requirements that their customers would need. These features include detailed cancer staging and diagnosis content, clinical trial support, evidence-based Level 1 pathways, and an extensive cancer regimen library.

iKnowMed EHR is a web-based electronic medical records system that can be accessed via the Internet, even when away from the office. The standalone EHR integrates with Lynx Mobile and can interface with a number of practice management, laboratory, radiology, pathology, dictation, and notes systems, providing customers the oncology-specific features they require without requiring them to replace their existing systems. iKnowMed is very scalable and suitable to practices of all sizes, ranging from solo private practices to large cancer care facilities with hundreds of doctors.
