VEPRO PACS (picture, archiving and communication system) is a Web-based, HL7 compliant medical report image sharing software that allows health care professionals in standalone, mini or clinic-wide practices network to share images across the practice. VEPRO PACS was launched in 2009, and is being distributed across 18 countries.
VEPRO PACS features image sharing in DICOM 3.0 format. It is also capable of converting images from non-DICOM devices to DICOM format, which helps provide standardized archive and file structure to all the shared images. Apart from radiology, the software can be used by a variety of other specialties, such as cardiology, general surgery and endoscopy.
