Offering an intuitive, easy-to-learn and incredibly inclusive fundraising system, Abila Fundraising 50 (formerly Sage Fundraising 50) is a fully integrated solution for nonprofits in need of complete coverage of their fundraising and development efforts, from contact relationship and volunteer management to payment processing and event organization. Its built-in core functionality allows nonprofit organizations to control costs by simplifying and automating daily repetitive tasks related to donor acquisition, fundraising results and administrative operations.

The tools and features in Abila Fundraising 50 work in tandem with nonprofit staff, strengthening and supporting outreach efforts. With its intuitive, simple interface and navigation shortcuts, users can access comprehensive profiles and complete communication histories. The software also provides complete payment processing, capturing donations via the Internet and maintaining PCI compliance, as well as streamlining gift solicitation, entry and acknowledgement. Every facet of the organization's current and future development needs are covered.

All of this data can be collected and reported with the 100+ default reporting templates that come standard with the software, that can easily be customized to create dynamic campaign progress reports and results or performance analyses.

Abila Fundraising 50 can be maintained on-premise or it can be fully hosted by Abila, allowing remote access to the organization's data and both alleviating the potential IT burden and lowering the cost of ownership. Value for Money

Pros

We were using another donor system to process our credit cards and record them. It was very limited in its usage and difficult to get information reporting. Then we got Sage Fundraising 50. This system is easy to understand and use. You are in complete control of the coding and interface between it and your accounting system. It has so many standard reports that help you to find what you need quickly. I love this system and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a high-value donor management system that is priced right for the small to medium organizations.

Cons

Having used several database programs over the past 19 years, I find Abila (was Sage) 50 to be difficult, non-intuitive and definitely not user-friendly. It is a struggle to pull information into a report, and if there is one small mistake, the program does not indicate what the specific problem is so you have to go back and rewrite the whole thing until you get it right. In other programs, you can change an item, then just hit run without having to rewrite it again. I also don't care for using color dots to categorize certain data.
