XMission is an Internet service provider (ISP) that offers a cloud-based business phone system known as XMission Hosted PBX. Additionally, XMission offers SIP trunking services for businesses that want a single-vendor VoIP system. XMission SIP trunking supports unified communications features.
XMission provides customers with a free router when they sign up for hosted PBX service (with some restrictions). Businesses can use their existing Internet providers to connect to XMission SIP trunking and hosted PBX services. XMission also offers fiber optic Internet connections for businesses in Utah.
XMission Hosted PBX offers a number of PBX features, such as auto attendants, hunt groups and call forwarding. Receptionists can transfer calls by dragging and dropping them in XMission’s browser-based call manager. XMission also offers users an “anywhere” extension, to which calls can be forwarded if they’re out of the office. The PBX system can be configured to use any pre-existing phone number for this extension.
XMission Hosted PBX integrates with Microsoft Outlook to provide click-to-dial functionality.
