  • Pros

  • Sage Intacct has been a very effective tool in simplifying and improving our financial management. With its comprehensive feature set, ease of use and customization.
  • The staff from start to finish on the implementation was great and all the support staff since we've gone live has been great. For a company with a very difficult business model, Intacct works great.
  • I like that you can easily save information and copy over previous Purchase Requisitions for your new ones. It allows you to save a lot of time by having your information saved for quick processing.
  • Cons

  • It is very difficult to rectify the error as this software makes difficult to go back and change the numbers.
  • The error codes don't explain if your selected budget is maxed out or WHERE the issue in the form is. The system just assumes you will review and figure it out on your own.
  • Drop downs often get stuck wasting your time clicking on random space to get out of functions. The PRs can't be organized easily and the search function is super sensitive.

  • I love that it is online based and can be accessed from anywhere. I also love the tabular set up which looks almost exactly like excel which is how every accountant is already used to using already.
  • Tech forward, upload features are good, very easy to set up new legal entities and locations. Reporting is good and getting better.
  • Great customer support with excellent reporting tools that save time and help identify opportunities to improve the business.
  • Cons

  • I lost a lot of my time and money for hundreds of hours of my time and even more my accountant that used the software to pay bills.
  • We have never been able to use other features as they are difficult to figure out and we are still having problems with clearing bank items. Everything costs money to fix.
  • No ERP which is really a bummer. Takes a longer than needed to update reports.
