They denied us a partial refund after paying $950 for a year and only using it a few months to find out we were wasting our time and money.

The idea of helping fundraisers have the tools we need at an affordable price-point is really nice, especially for orgs as small as ours.

They complained to me and BW, and were quickly refunded their money.

I had a few issues navigating between making donations versus creating a sponsorship through the table purchase/ticketing process. So, I had a few struggles which resulted in a few mistakes.

BetterWorld's ineptitude cost us a lot of money and was easily the worst part of our event.

It was easy to understand. It is intuitive and they clearly were able to anticipate the needs the customer has in order to run a successful auction.

I received a couple complaints about fees that the customer wasn't expecting when they were charged.

After doing some research online, I found Better World.org. The software is very user friendly and it allowed us to continue to host our silent auction.

The ease in building the online auction is great. The ability of copying the auction framework from one year to the next saves a lot of time after the first year.

It's been super easy to set up new auctions and impact campaigns, and our non-profit school organization volunteers using it have found the learning curve to be minimal.

Overall, I liked the fact it was inexpensive and not difficult to set up.

I have been working with BetterWorld for two years and it has been great for the needs of our small, Catholic school's fundraising. The customer service is phenomenal.

We had a small issue that I assumed was my fault.

The product was easy to use and very flexible. I would like to see more tutorials on how it can help non-profits raise funds at another level.

It was free for my small non-profit organization which makes it a viable option to help with fundraising for mission trips. It was fairly easy to figure out how to use.

I was extremely hesitant at first and took a leap of faith. Their products and features exceed the competition and much more inexpensive.

It can be confusing for people as to how they can NOT pay for the suggested charge when they are exiting the system and want to pay for their auction item or ticket.

I enjoyed creating with the application so much that word spread throughout our little community and the other non-profits in the area started to use it also.

We ended up having to do a messy hybrid of online and in-person bids, but this put our online bidders at a severe disadvantage.

I usually received a reply within an hour (during the day) or the following day (if sent in the evening). The correspondences were always very helpful and pleasant.

It has helped our non-profit soup kitchen raise funds free of charge. The product is super easy to use, and they have a stellar support team.

I also volunteered to help them with the set up and management as it was fun for me.

We used Better World for our 2022 event. Easy to set up, easy for volunteers to input data, great fee structure, very helpful support from the developers, and fairly successful for bidders to use.

The interface is very easy to use to set up the auction, and creates a very clean, professional and easy to use site.

I was very impressed with the access I had to get questions answered promptly. Suggestions were given on how we could have a more successful auction.

Some customers did not want their credit card info, so they could not bid on auctions without it. We lost customer's, money and denied a partial refund.

It was easy to set up initially and I thought was going to be a really great tool.

Love that it is an online system- that's what we wanted for mobile bidding for our signature fundraising event.

I liked that it was easy to use- very intuitive and user friendly. I used it for a n auction that I conducted for a client who had little extra money to use mobile bidding.

Overall, I would use Bidr again for the price. I am hoping they will continue to improve the software to help nonprofits be able to capture more information in the near future.

I was really disappointed for a couple of reasons that I feel are valid complaints, however, Bidr did nothing to rectify the issues.

Love their ticketing... super easy check-in and scan of tickets. Plus, we use it at our annual event for silent auction.

I really liked the look of the event page and how the items were cataloged. The instructions were fairly simple for everyone to follow.

Registering people in advance is only permissable via mobile, making RSVPs impossible. Credit card capture failed 3 out 4 times.

Love how it delivers a great attendee experience which is what we care about most with our events. Team continues to be responsive as they build more features.

When I was able to speak to a customer service rep they were very pleasant.

The team at Bidr is working hard and we've seen tons of new features in the last two years.

Bidr is a cloud-based auction management solution that enables users to manage auctions, auction-based fundraisers and raffles. Key features include a ticketing engine, silent and live auction management, raffle ticket management, fixed pricing and more.


Bidr's event setup module helps users to build event websites that can include registration forms, auction items, raffle tickets, sponsor logos and direction to event locations. Users can keep track of bidding, enter tickets and update item information in real time from the event dashboard. The solution automatically creates printed flyers and item cards with digital signage for the attendees.
