Pros
- BackBlaze is easy to use and is integrated into JetBackup, which I love. Their pricing gives me the flexibility to store more backups than S3.
- I bought a new laptop and was able to successfully get all of my backed up documents, picture, etc from Backblaze. It was super comforting to know that my information was all there.
Cons
- The after-hours back up is a bit confusing to me. I try to do my backups in the background when I'm working during the day.
- When I had a major failure, I needed to back up several TB of data.
Pros
- I like that iDrive is affordable and does not backup only certain types of files based on your tier of membership.
- Drag and Drop facility is easy to use and helps to manage the files very easily. Features of IDrive backup is great, and the search function is helping in searching through a large set of files.
Cons
- Fails from time to time, not sure why. Have to leave the computer on all the time and takes a long time to back up a small amount of files.
- Tech support was no help in retrieving the files. Overall, the program feels constrictive, frustrating, and difficult compared to other cloud storage I've used.
