  • Pros

  • Buildertrend is an amazing tool - it helps us keep track of all of our projects seamlessly. One of my favorite assets about BT is their customer service.
  • It is very easy to access, it is user friendly and i am really enjoying learning new things each week. Tutorials are very good and easy to understand.
  • Buildertrend has been great so far and we are happy we chose to use this product. Hopefully as some of these new fixes / integrations get worked out the tool will become even more useful for us.
  • Cons

  • This went on for months before I realized it was happening. When asked them to refund the missed months before I continued with buildertrend they simply said “they can’t refund any charges.
  • The worst drawback is that there is essentially no function for schedulING.
  • Some of the accounting package link-up can be frustrating and we lost a function recently which was not particularly helpful for us and was driven by other contractors needs who use the software.

  • We enter all our AR and AP transactions into Knowify and it syncs beautifully with QB. Absolutely love the built in AIA billing format and the ability to email out of the application.
  • It's a comprehensive software solution for all facets of my business. The customer support team is great whenever I need help.
  • The customer service is absolutely superb. Quick response; helpful, clear answers to questions; quick turnaround for customization.
  • Cons

  • By far the worst thing about Knowify is the reporting. Though there are numerous reports built in, they are not easily manipulated, and they filter data depending on how it is put into the software.
  • Some times the address look up system does not work. The phone log in app tends to lag or not work at times.
  • Customers complain about the invoicing, it's confusing.
