Bullhorn

Pros

Bullhorn is one of the most simple (but effective) recruitment tools i have ever used. It allows you to set up a cadence of marketing messages and "blasts" to ensure that you are reaching your audience appropriately and on a schedule that you wont have to think twice about.

Cons

As long as you time your content appropriately, it wont be too repetitive.

Wonderful system for me

Pros

Definitely, I'm glad I started using this application. The local search system is well developed, there are no unnecessary details. The productivity of work has increased due to the careful management of the task list - this leads to the possibility of exercising complete control over the processes. Also list of features formed very well. I have everything I need. I manage all the processes through the application and I am quite pleased with this work. All the information that interests me is before my eyes and I am able to make amendments if they become necessary, as soon as possible. I feel that I can solve any problem.

Cons

I don’t like here that, with regularly updated updates, no obsolete data is cleared. I often have to do the cleaning myself, which consumes a large amount of my working time. If this is not done then there will be an extra load on the system. The problem is very unpleasant and I hope that in the future this will be corrected, because, as I noted, during updates, errors are often corrected that may occur. Otherwise, I have no complaints about the work of the program and so on.

Premier Recruiting Software

Bullhorn has really helped us reduce our time to fill and post time to interview ratios.

Pros

Bullhorn is a recruiter's best friend. It can handle everything from the Job Post, the applicant tracking, candidate communication / scheduling as well as on-boarding. For a large team working on the same position, it allows us to all be on the same page and keep the process moving forward. The customer service is awesome!

Cons

Some of the reporting features aren't as robust as other platforms and Bullhorn isn't one stop for HR, we use other software for benefits, performance evals, etc. With that said I'd rather have the best ATS and work with industry leaders in other areas, a la carte HR!

After a little getting used to, this is great.

This is a great advanced tool for recruiters.

Pros

There is so much functionality for recruiters in here. It makes it so much easier to track communication, know what the team is doing, and share information.

Cons

There's a bit of a learning curve, we had someone on the team who has used it before and helped set it up and train us internally which was really helpful.

Excellent Recruiting CRM

Bullhorn is a great CRM - especially for recruiting. It is the best one I have used.

Pros

Great workflow solutions. Easy to use and functional. Always coming out with new updates and ideas.

Cons

My experience with the mass email function was not as easy or functional as a mail merge in other systems.

Excellent tool for recruiting!

Pros

Excellent support for recruiting workflows. Makes corresponding with candidates far more efficient the other systems I've used. Tearsheets are fabulous tools to group similar candidates and

Cons

I'd like more out-of-the-box operational reports. It'd also help to streamline the data structure for notes and emails - we've struggled to create effective reports to monitor candidates falling out of contact because correspondence history lives in two places (notes and emails).

Overview of Bullhorn experience

Bullhorn is a great CRM system, it's easy to learn and use and it has served us well so far. Our staff have picked it up easily however the odd technical glitch can be quite frustrating.

Pros

I like that the contacts, clients and candidates can all link up so you can keep track of everything and i love how you can track your recruitment process as it's happening.

Cons

We have had a couple of issues with latency in the past which has been time consuming. A lot of this happened when Bullhorn transitioned to the S Release

Bullhorn

We used it to track candidates and clients. The system does let you store a lot of good information about each candidate, as well as multiple versions of the resumes.

Pros

Very fast searches. Easy to use pathways to information. Good volume of information that can be stored and saved on each entry.

Cons

We had to change our company terminology to fit the software.

A perfect tool for communication with the target audience

Pros

Bullhorn is a fully functioning service that designed for sales management and brand promotion. This cloud-based software helps to find a target audience, communicate with this audience and introduce to them your brand. In addition, it has an automated data capture and customer insight technology.

Cons

There isn't too much that I don't like. With various Bullhorn’s features, our team is qualified enough to provide a productive workflow. Moreover, it helps us to stay organized due to special dashboards. In addition, all activities and ideas are putting into life and everything gets its act together.

Cloud-based brand promotion service

Pros

We have a strong idea that Bullhorn is a very useful and effective software. It has a lot of useful tools and features that help greatly in working process. It is very beneficial and convenient that you can synchronize your Outlook calendar with Bullhorn. It helps keep handy all important meetings and tasks. In addition, there are many different tasks lists, which simplify the work itself and are very practical and useful.

Cons

Unfortunately, Bullhorn has some drawbacks that should be improved. It should be noticed that the price of the service is quite high. It requires a big sum of money from a company, but not all companies can afford such expenses. It seems that this software is designed rather for advanced companies than for small businesses or startups. In addition, there are some problems with data refreshing and it is a little bit annoying.

A little bang for a lot of buck

Pros

The platform is current, dynamic, mostly modifiable and user-friendly for someone that is comfortable with CRM programs

Cons

Bullhorn wants to be great but they are getting a bit too big for their britches. Their customer service is not intuitive and they outsource many of their other client service offerings. They should have stayed small. The group that does the importing and transferring of data is not impressive and dropped the ball numerous times.

Great ATS (Application Tracking System)

Pros

The ATS piece of Bullhorn is the best in the business. The way candidates are managed and organized there is nothing better. The tool has a great way to track candidates from the applications to the placement stage and is very user-friendly. The tool also integrations very well with tools such as Broadbean and Daxtra which makes searching for candidates even better.

Cons

There is not much ability to customize the platform. IF you can keep you business to as close to 'out of box' as possible, you will be thankful.

Also the true CRM piece of bullhorn does not comapre to competetors such as Salesforce

Clean Product that Facilitates Communication for Sales and Recruitment

Pros

Bullhorn is a Customer Relationship Management tool with a clean-and-simple design and many useful functions. Syncs well with Outlook. It can easily handle as many contacts as you need to manage with good sorting and searching capabilities, facilitating communication between Sales and Recruiting. When searching for a client or recruitment candidate, ALL of the available information is returned--so instead of just contact info, there is also a history of all their activity, including emails. Bullhorn CRM is also great for new hires because the interface is intuitive and doesn't require a lot of training.

Cons

While Bullhorn CRM is an easy to learn and use product, with the exception of the Pulse feature, it's not particularly innovative and doesn't offer any features that stand out as far as I can tell. Reloading pages and refreshing appointments can take longer than it seems like they should. However, they are making consistent improvements to the product so this could change quickly in a future version.

Good CRM with a couple of exceptions

I think it's a good CRM option if you're looking for something other than Salesforce.

Pros

-Great place to log and track customers company-wide
-Saves time
-Helps tremendously with organization
-Exceptional customer service
-User friendly for the most part
-There is a "Task List" that is really beneficial for helping you keep track of what you need to do in x amount of time

Cons

-Not a fan of the app - it's functionality is poor
-Not all the tools that we use integrate with Bullhorn
-They're constantly making "improvements" but the improvements are not easy to keep up with

BullHorn: Is it worth it?

Overall I love BullHorn without this I don't know what would my recruiting life would be. I highly recommend this product to all the recruiters out there. A great tool that has everything.

Pros

The interface is very user friendly, easy to navigate especially for first time users. It has great features such as mass email, saved list where I can track all my candidates, planner where you can put special updated on your candidate such as interview schedules and also a great platform to source for candidates. BullHorn is my bestfriend since I started recruiting and it is a great help, I get a lot of candidates here.

Cons

The only problem I have with BullHorn is sometimes it is slow and it will log you out if you are inactive for around 1 hour.

Clean CRM Design

Bullhorn is definitely one of the better CRM softwares available on the market. It has a clean, well-designed interface with plently of features for the average user. The support team a Bullhorn is great; we always had a very good experience with them. As your company grows, this CRM can grow with you but it can get expensive.

Pros

Bullhorn is a well designed platform. The User Interface was my favorite aspect of the design. The functions are easily located and navigable. Everything has a clean, organized appearance with intuitive design.

Cons

Bullhorn lacks some of the functionality of other CRM platforms. For smaller companies, it should be adequate but as our company grew, we found the need for functions such as integrated email and forms building which Bullhorn couldn't offer at a reasonable rate.

Bullhorn, straightforward

Cost wise you only pay for a CRM solution but you also get a job board something that is gold for recruiters, an extra job board is always welcome. It does also save time, something that most of us fail to realize it takes a couple of minutes to parse a candidate to any crm system with all the information in a resume, Bullhorn solves this by automatically parsing candidates to its system, specially if Monster.com is linked. You can save precious time and get more time to reach candidates vs parsing them.

Pros

Bullhorn is one of those software's out there that are pretty straightforward in terms of use. Great specially for those starting out in the recruiting world. What makes bullhorn great is that its not only a good end to end application tracking system but it also serves as a candidate pool of all the candidates that all the users within the company has ever entered in. Not only do you get a CRM but you also get a Job board. For recruiters like me another Job board to source on is another mine of gold. Its also great that you can link Monster.com to it. Makes parsing candidates form Monster a lot easier and saves time.

Cons

Nothing really , I just wished they had like a night mode or a livelier color scheme.
