HubSpot offers a visual dashboard with a real-time view of the entire sales funnel. Users can track customer interactions automatically through email, social media or phone calls and every interaction is stored in a timeline organized by lead.

HubSpot enables users to create and manage email templates and track how well those emails are performing. The solution can also send real-time notifications for events such as when a contact opens an email or downloads an attachment.

    Great if you want to track emails. Free product so you can't really complain about it much!

    Pros

    I use Hubspot to track emails, that is the only functionality I use. I know they offer a lot but I really only use it to see when people open up my emails. Being in sales, it is so important to be “lucky” and having good timing. I create my own luck by being notified when a possible client opens up my email. I will conveniently call them shortly after they open it

    Cons

    Sometimes when I open up a new tab within google chrome Hubspot will open an entirely new tab and what i was initially searching for goes away. It's extremely frustrating and i'm not sure if there is a way to turn that off.

    Been using it for over 3 years and I can't complain. Use it mainly to supplement our Salesforce CRM instance because I can't get away from that beast. It does great and HubSpot is always improving the product. Great support and a great software overall to maintain your business' sales and leads. Easily can push contacts and work with them in the HubSpot Marketing tools as well. Highly recommended!

    Pros

    Great product, always improving, almost on par with Salesforce on functionality. More and more integrations are being added, and you can grow into it by upgrading from free, to starter, to Pro, to Enterprise, fairly easily.

    Cons

    It's cheap as free if you start, but it can get expensive if you want to use more features and grow as a business. Just be prepared to budget for this.

    Sometimes there are some bugs which can take a while to resolve. Email signatures went missing a few times but it seems the team has resolved this now.

    We did not get to fully evaluate all features, because of major security issues. If you use a team inbox in outlook, be warned that all your confidential emails sent from your personal outlook might land there.

    Pros

    Hubspot would work well for SMEs if it did not have major security/privacy issues.

    Cons

    Email security is not given. In our case emails written in Outlook that were not selected for tracking or logging (and not even addressed to a contact in Hubspot) were forwarded by Hubspot to the team email inbox in Hubspot, were the entire company could read them. So the entire company using Hubspot could no longer write emails, except those intended for Hubspot. It took several support tickets for Hubspot to acknowledge this, but the simply said that they had a backlog too long to fix the issue at the moment. We also had to solve the problem ourselves. The suggestions give by Hubspot did not work. Even deinstalling the Hubspot add-in failed.

    It allows you to create and save a template for future uses. And in HubSpot Sales, you can easily track your emails. You can see who opened and replied to your email.

    Cons

    There are some features in HubSpot that are not user-friendly. There are also times that this tool is a little bit lag.

    My favorite functionality is bcc'ing Hubspot on our emails to leads, so that we can track our communication with them. It helps when multiple people are working on a project to be able to see the communication among different teammates.

    Cons

    HubSpot can be pretty expensive if you want additional features that provide real value.

    We used to have a shared excel file tracking all businesses and deals, it worked, but we were lacking a unity in tracking and documentation, we found out about hubspot and fell in love immediately.

    Pros

    Stop using excel trackers and any double work, this CRM keeps track of all my emails, tasks, calendar and contacts, it´s crazy easy to use and it even has an email plugin.

    Cons

    Any chance it could be integrated with slack? I haven´t seen that option

    It's a great tool that utilizes a lot of the latest features that any marketer or sales professional will benefit from. Keep your contacts organize in one place.

    Pros

    I love the capability to be able to build your own pillar pages, emails, lead flows, dashboards, reports, analytics, templates Their customer service is excellent as well, but it depends who you get on the phone. I also love the HubSpot mobile app where I can scan a business card and convert it to a new contact within seconds.

    Cons

    You need to know a good amount of code like CSS and HTML in order to customize the templates.

    Hubspot has the reputation of providing a lot of helpful content and tools for free and this is one amazing tool. I use this to manage my personal CRM and the system serves my purpose. You can literally add unlimited contacts in here and improve your networking capabilities.

    Cons

    I cannot add custom fields in the CRM table. If I could add that, then the software would be complete.

    for my experience, it is a very good tracking system, for people who have previously handled another system of prospection and sales tracking, In addition if you have experience in specific markets and a good relationship with your customers, you can plan future sales lines (segments / niches), which will require or are growing in the market.

    It is very friendly and easy to understand, especially to schedule follow-ups with clients and planning sales of product lines and future market needs.

    Cons

    It was hard to learn at first. I used Pardot previously and it seemed a little easier to use but also didn't have close to the features and functionality that HubSpot does.

    Very satisfied. Made my job easy especially on sending follow up emails.

    Pros

    Love that it has an option to create templates and email sequences for easy retrieval of canned responses. Email sequences is very useful for sending pitch, just create the sequence, set the date and it will auto send. I dont have to go back and check who I have to follow up. Also has the option to personalize contacts and put in all info in one place. You can also create your own settings and labels and tags. So much use.

    Cons

    Not that user friendly. It took time for me to familiarize myself. And sometimes causes my email to hang.

    HubSpot CRM has a bunch of extra bells and whistles that you can pay to use. For a small company, like mine, I don't need that stuff. The free version gives us all we need.

    Pros

    The free version has an amazing amount of functionality. The plugins for Chrome and Windows makes it very useful. For instance, when a prospect or client opens an email I sent from my Outlook HubSpot CRM logs it in my contact info for that client/prospect. It also tells me when that email has been opened, which is wonderful- no more wondering if they even looked at my email. There was a time when an Access database for client/prospect management was fine, as I worked alone. Now that I have a team to work with I need the ability to make the information available to everyone. HubSpot CRM does just that. I also really like the flexibility of the software to make it work for our specific needs. It also integrates with MailChimp and Constant Contact.

    Cons

    I use Outlook for more than one email account. When I installed the HubSpot CRM plugin I found it connects with all the accounts, which includes my personal one. It's easy enough with a click to make sure my personal email contacts don't get listed in the CRM, but I have to do it each time I send an email from my personal account. I wish there was a way to fix that.

    With difficulty we imported a list of contacts, but if you are not very clear on what HubSpot is trying to do, it is difficult to make it do what you want. While once in a while we stumbled over some nice features many were difficult to find or use.
