The latest version is more attractive and It has a lot of features

Pros

It has a lot features and tools to organize, keep track, measure and have reports of what is going on with your leads.

Cons

Maybe I need more time to keep using the tool but is not as easy to use as I thought it would be, is promising and I like the new UI design that they did with this latest version.

Costly digital Marketing automation software

Pros

This software is ideal for digital marketing automation for small and Mid-sized companies. Easy to use & user friendly.

Cons

Cost is too high compared to the similar application in the market. They need to improve the analytic page in much more detail manner.

Easy marketing help

Pros

fine in the overall terms , it is attached to my salesforce platform and gives me some information about what the prospect did in the website

Cons

qualification is not very accurate, although that depends on the settings of the platform itself, says some are hot leads when they're not

A powerful marketing automation tool if you know how to use it.

Pros

It has a lot of bells and whistles to use if you know how to use them within your business

Cons

There is a steep learning curve. It takes a bit to get used to how to use it, but then it becomes a lot easier.

Amazing tool but cumbersome to learn

Pros

Marketo is generally GEM in managing contacts and communication, managing leads and prospect and tracking growth.
Awesome community support is the major thing I can say marketo has going for it

Cons

Not easy to learn- so cumbersome
the email builder needs to be further simplified by integrating real and simple drag and drop.
marketo is expensive and not designed for small businesses.
Doesn't offer free trial so small businesses ng a feel of the product prospective users can't get a feel of what they want to put their money on before investing in it

Not very intuitive

Pros

Marketo offers lots of features and I don’t think it’s lacking in functionality, compared to other vendors.

Cons

I don’t love the user experience. It was not very user friendly or intuitive (in my opinion). Seems a bit clunky and I do prefer other platforms.

Marketo Web is Solid

All in all, I used it towards the end of my time operating the business, but I only wish I had found it sooner.

Pros

It was very easy to set up and customer support was very helpful with any integration we needed to make

Cons

Customer service was almost too aggressive in offering support - but they do a great job nonetheless.

Best Marketing Automation software available, but only because competition is weak

We are running marketing campaigns for our clients with Marketo, but we run into walls at every turn.

Pros

Easy to send emails, track opt outs, email regular reports, connect to Salesforce. Huge, helpful community of users.

Cons

Anything custom tends to be tricky and require hacks plus a visit to customer forums. Requires significant training before use, not intuitive at all.

Alright analytics

Pros

If you are looking for basic analytics, then Marketo could be a good option. It is very easy to use. Adobe is also planning to acquire Marketo. I’ve always been very pleased with Adobe, so it should be a good change, hopefully for the better.

Cons

Unfortunately, the analytics is one of the things I like least about Marketo. They have a lot of other great features which does help make up to for.

Marketo comes highly recommended

Pros

Drag and drop features makes Marketo very easy to use. Integration with social media tools like Facebook and CRM tools like SalesForce make it particularly great.

Cons

No free trial and you need to contact them for a customised quote. This makes it difficult for smaller businesses that are looking to find a proof of concept before investing in a tool like Marketo.

Great at automation, good community support, needs a better email and landing page builder

Pros

For email automation, Marketo is a very robust platform. For creating engagement programs and smart campaigns, I have never had any limitations from Marketo. If it can't be done via the GUI, you can script it using Velocity. The Marketo community is very helpful and you can typically get answers for almost anything there.

Cons

The landing page and email builder needs to be better. I find myself spending a lot of time in html even when I use the packaged templates for emails. A true drag and drop email editor would make building emails much easier.

Major learning curve

Marketing automation is a misnomer. There's nothing automatic about drip campaigns.

Pros

Marketo is an extremely powerful tool, and a great way to manage both your communications and your database of prospects. Provides a score for leads based on certain activities.

Cons

There's a major learning curve. At one company we literally had to hire an entire person just to manage Marketo. Expensive and not good for the casual user.

Marketo Connects To Customers Like No Other!

Pros

Marketo has been such an amazing integration playing a critical role in creating a cohesive environment between all our applications. It's been amazing to see the growth we've been able to accomplish with Marketo.

Cons

It was a overwhelming experience when on boarding with Marketo. There are so many different angles to create your growth strategies. My advice, pick one and stick with it!

I love Marketo as an Marketing Automation Tool

It has been great

Pros

How easy it is to automate your marketing campaigns and programs, there's nothing you can't do with Marketo.

Cons

I love Marketo but what I like the least would be their tech support, they take a long time to answer and once they do they don't solve anything

Powerful Lead Scoring System

Marketing automation and lead scoring

Pros

Lets us score leads based on actions that they take. We can assign a unique value to different things, and it'll join users across sessions.

Cons

Outdated interface and clunky UI makes it difficult to use sometimes. Workflows are built well, but look like their from early 2000's

Marketing Automation salvation (....at a price)

Helpful and essential to our business but not always user friendly.

Pros

We use Marketo as an essential tool for the Marketing automation side of our business. We have a variety of nurture email streams and Marketo enables the automation of these repetivie type activities, sending a large number of comms at ease. We also utilize the forms section linking it to our website and connecting our database to Salesforce.

Cons

It's a very difficult tool to use. We have a specialist in the company, but for new members of the team that need to use the tool in their day to day jobs, equipping them with the basics (if they have not used it before) takes a long time.

Marketo as our B2B Marketing Platform

This is a reliable tool.

Pros

It does its job as a B2B marketing platform. The best thing about this software is its integration to SalesForce which makes tracking easier.

Cons

The set up stage can be stressful. Also, the interface is not user-friendly so it will take a bit of time for the user to be familiar with its environment.

Our Experience with Marketo

This is quite a good platform with its powerful features that get the work done.

Pros

It is convenient to use as it gives full tracking of leads from the prospecting stage to sale. Integration with a variety of applications is also a huge convenience.

Cons

Setting up might take time especially if the user does not have any background about it. Their customer support isn't always responsive and reliable.

Marketo for Marketing Teams

Marketo for Marketing Teams

Pros

This is absolutely a good lead management / marketing platform. It Salesforce integration is also one of its best feature.

Cons

The tool is working as it should and that is really good. The only thing I can say a con is its price compared to other marketing platforms. It is a bit pricey.
