Really Simple Systems CRM is a cloud-based customer relationship management (CRM) system designed for small and midsize organizations. The solution comes in both free and paid editions. The free edition offers only sales force automation (SFA) tool while paid edition offers additional tools for marketing and customer service.

Really Simple Systems is a modular solution comprising of integrated modules for sales, opportunity, activity, task and document management. With the marketing module, marketers can organize and manage campaigns, send bulk emails, capture and segment leads, track opportunities and more.

Really Simple Systems claims to have 99.9 percent uptime with advanced data security measures such as data encryption and real-time data replication between two data centers. The solution generally caters to customers across the United States and the United Kingdom. Government agencies, law firms and financial institutes are some of the industry verticals served by Real Simple Systems.

    The freemium model is slamming considering!

    The freemium version offers a lot of what anyone in a simple on person shop could need. Unfortunately, to get to mor, you must go premium.

    Cons

    The user interface is not my favorite amongst the prime CRM systems. While it is adequate, I prefer a few easier to use systems.

    If nothing else the audibility of customer interactions, this allows us to see any \ all communications with the customer.

    Pros

    Only pay for the functionality you need. Some other CRM's include marketing, systems management, financials, etc. but if you don't need them don't buy them.
    Its a very easy system for users to pick up, comprised of a core architecture:
    Customers \ Companies = Accounts
    Contacts = the customers name, email, telephone
    Tasks = To Do list
    Activities = records the history of what you've done with that customer
    Opportunties = Won or lost sales records

    Then there's the reporting, where anything you put into Really Simple Systems can be interrogated, not just the content of certain restricted fields.

    Cons

    We're looking to do some integration and other CRM platforms easily allow this through API services, such as IFTTT or Zapier, Really Simple Systems only provide an API. You can of course code this into whatever you want, but will require time.

    It's very simple. The customers service team are always incredibly helpful and go above and beyond to help.

    Cons

    It can be a bit limiting at times. And the reports aren't as straight forward as other programmes I have used.

    Simple control of the sales process and the relationship with my customers.

    Pros

    I am still using the free version and it suites me very well, I will update it in a very near future as I need some features that are not available in the free version.
    The software is very comprehensive and cover all the main topics of a CRM system.
    I search for other solutions and this is the best that I found.
    I highly recommend it.

    Cons

    The part that I had more difficulties were in the reporting section.
    I tried to add some fields but could not do it.Maybe because I use the free version.

    The ability to customise forms and fields with ease. The reports are easy to construct and modify. It is also very easy to add and remove users

    Cons

    The format difference between iPad and desktop screeens. Sometimes the last column gets frozen when I am editing the columns on the screen

    Easy to manage our contacts across multiple departments. Great for follow ups and monitoring development staff.

    Pros

    Ease of use, flexibility of pricing. Dashboard shows your accounts, tasks (follow ups etc) and activities. I found it easy to upload our current prospects onto via a spreadsheet.

    Cons

    Haven't found any yet but I'm sure we are not using it to its full potential. System has just undergone a complete restyle and this seems much more aesthetically pleasing.

    Speed and ease of use. I've had only good experiences so far and the team at Really Simple Systems have been helpful and quick to respond. I would highly recommend them to any firm!

    None, it really does improve on anything I've used previously. This includes the big software names in the market.

    Ease of use. Simple forms to fill out and customisable. Other CRM systems I have used have been very long winded and time consuming this is not.

    Reports are difficult to customise. Wish this was a little easier to set up to get information you want from it.

    It helps us to organising our clients. We will need more help in the future as we grow.

    Pros

    Its integration with Xero accounts is what I like most. This has helped give an accurate reading of what is due to us and what is still outstanding. It allows all users to see information relating to the financial status of a customer

    Cons

    Its very manual and doesn't really let you sort with your own parameters/create your own invoice numbers. I think that the search option could be made easier.

    Easy ability to track and edit leads.

    Pros

    We use this software to track potentials leads. What I most like is the ability to add custom fields to really utilise the tool .

    Cons

    Initially, the report function didn't work perfectly for us but I contacted customer support and they really quickly solved this issue for us by adding in the requested extra fields.

    I really like the ease of use, it has simple clear functionality and can be easily customised. Top class product and great value for money.

    Mobile version could be better - a dedicated app would be good with quick updates available when out in the field.

    I like that I can keep all my account information in one safe place and I like the webinars, and support offered.

    Cons

    Reports! I find them to be a bit tedious to set up. I have been trying to see my sales in 2018 and have found it difficult

    It is really easy to use and a doddle to customise. Keeps all of my records in 1 place and I can see at a glance my workload for any given day.

    Cons

    The only real negative that I can think of is that you are unable to block holidays off to prevent inadvertently making appointments.

    I particularly like the fact that the system is easy to customise. It makes the daily use a better experience and the data more meaningful.

    Cons

    The CRM could include a customisable Accounts view to enable for example customised views that show just those accounts in a particular post code, or `My Accounts' with a particular sector or type attribution.

    Seemed good initially but had issues once we started to put it through its paces.

    We had to get IT techs involved to resolve issues and once we did they were concerned about the coding in the background and how that might affect success rate of email campaigns. All above my head I'm afraid but it wasn't 'really simple' after all!

    Good value for money given content and compared to other programmes
    Was easy to get running with sending out email campaign

    Cons

    Had issues with emails going - kept saying they were queuing
    Technical support seemed slow to respond but helpful when they did
    Felt system wasn't technically reliable enough to continue using
    Restrictive and IT guys thought it was too basic
    Needed more technical knowledge than was led in believe (we had to get IT guys involved to resolve issues with emails going)

    I think it's a great starter program. I've grown too much and need other features they don't provide

    Easy to set up. I was up and running on the first day. Appreciate the easy set up instructions with the intro email.

    Cons

    Sort features are very difficult to use. Reports can't be broken down as I need them to be. Upgrades don't really help much

    It seemed to cover everything really well (except workflow/process) a simple GUI and intuitive ideal for our non techy users.

    Cons

    We really liked this system but there is no workflow at all - which we maybe could have lived with - but with so many other systems on the market offering something and at a lower price it didn't seem great value for money.

    Incredible customer service, for sure. the sales manager who worked with me, was incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent staff! The user interface is very easy to work with compared to a lot of other CRM providers we tested out.

    A little less visual-based than my sales director would prefer. Maybe a way to graphically show the progress of each lead would be nice.

    The ability to securely store in the cloud and access my key data from anywhere as long as I have web access

    The fact that the entry-level option is free and that you still get customer support in spite of this.

    Perfect product to organise all of your customers and enquiries. Every sales business should use it.

    Pros

    Easy to use and gets all your sales enquiries organised as you go along. Ideal for a non techie person so it is perfect for a micro business of a large sales force.

    Cons

    I still have not grasped some of the terminology...like "opportunities". There is no box for email address'.
