Newbie to Salesforce

Overall, Salesforce is a good CRM Marketing Software that will make your life easier which is what we all want at the end o the day.

Pros

Was quite easy to understand for novice and navigate around and had easy to use and useful automated marketing features that made reaching a large audience seamlessly easy.

Cons

From always using MS Dynamics Marketing I prefer the layout and interface, which is likely because I am use to using the function.

There is a reason everyone recognizes the name!

We recently implemented the SalesForce marketing cloud platform and have had great success. The implementation was more challenging than expected however we had very specific needs and required a lot of data transfers to make the service work they way we intended. The training was fairly easy and once the employees embraced the process, increased overall productivity. Friendly formats and personal expressions give each team member their own look and allow them to be productive on their own skill level. The team emails were out of hand and this product helped manage the interactions and keep everyone in the loop without wading through the email mess!

Pros

All encompassing product. The customizable options are amazing. Easy to access for remote and in-house employees.

Cons

On the higher pricing scale. implementation can be tricky, may need to modify your current workflow to accommodate the best use.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Review

Pros

It's secure and easy to use just like all the rest of Salesforce's software. It includes a ton of marketing tools like Pardot too which is very nice.

Cons

Steep learning curve for the software, but it's powerful when you get to know it.

Huge CRM machine wit all the pros and cons beneath that

Pros

With no doubt this is a very advanced CRM with great functionality. I appreciated possibilities of marketing automation and differenc life cycles for users depending on their behaviours.

Cons

Any changes in the system (changes in process or tha way the CRM is functioning) are extremely difficult to conduct. We had a lot of difficulties with switching from old CRM to Salesforce as the way it works was different and all the processes needed to be redesigned. However, when we needed to change anything in Salesforce to reflect our business needs, it was complicated (IT, discussions with the vendor, time...)

Salesforce: Marketing Gold

Salesforce is easy to use for people who are unfamiliar with the software.

Pros

Salesforce is extremely useful keeping an organized sales, accounts, and contacts. The opportunity pipeline allows you to foresee your company's future and plan well for your business. It is helpful that all contacts, address information, opportunities, and notes are all found in the same account. Tracking activities within Salesforce facilitates good communication with all users.

Cons

Inputting addresses and contact info can be tedious. Salesforce does not easily integrate without softwares, Procore, to transmit data.

Powerful platform needs to catch up to marketing automation leaders

It's a powerful platform and I hope they continue to increase functionality.

Pros

The ease of getting data into Salesforce Marketing Cloud was unrivalted for a long time. It's also pretty easy to reference fields with tags in emails and get the data to dynamically populate.

Cons

It's difficult for people who are not highly technical to use this. If you don't understand a whole lot about databases Salesforce Marketing Cloud may not be for you.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Review

I love Salesforce products. I think investing in the cloud solutions was one of the best decisions my team has made. We are able to manage our social channels with ease.

Pros

If you are using other Salesforce Cloud solutions this easily integrates into your overall marketing strategy. The support team is very helpful and answers question in a timely fashion. They are great to work with!

Cons

If you don't use other Salesforce Cloud solutions you won't get all the benefits of this tool. It really helps to use all Saleforce products if you want synergy among all of your initiatives. It is a costly investment, but if you are willing to spend the money the cloud solutions can really help grow your business and make your team more efficient.

Helps let you know where prospects are in sales process

Pros

This program is great for letting you know where prospects are in the sales process. For instance, I can generate a report that details who has opened most of our company emails; accordingly, it gives insight as to who to market to further because he or she likes our brand/service offering. Consequently, as a marketer I can focus more efforts on converting those leads.

Cons

The program has a lot of functionality, including bells and whistles that can seem intimidating at first. To really maximize the value of the program, I will need some additional training. Salesforce does provide some when evaluating the product but not enough.

Great system to streamline marketing initaitives

If you sign a contract, look into any consulting services they have. This will help you get up to speed on the platform and help configure some of the triggered messaging.

Pros

Great usability for email. For more robust functions, you will need a team assistance. The system is great at sending mass amounts of transactional messages.

Cons

You must have a developer to assist with API calls. Most of the functionality will need set-up. There will need to be integrations with your website and database for triggered sends.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud for customer connections and engagements

Pros

What i really like about this product is that there are many marketing tools that helps the user make recommendations, advertisement and services related to customer engagement.

Cons

I dont see any negative about this product except for the complexity of the product, but it is tolerable since the Salesforces Marketing is very useful and you get what you pay. A must have App.

One of the most popular CRMs, but poor support and bad UX

Pros

It's one of the most popular CRM, so most people are familiar with it. As such, it integrates with several other software tools out there.

Cons

The UX/UI isn't very good, unless it's all you're used to. Also opening a ticket with customer support is a pain, especially if you don't have a Salesforce login (I've tried both with and without.). The HubSpot integration has also been a huge pain, at least in my personal experience.

Quickbooks of CRM platforms!

Using SalesForce was one of the best decisions our company has made.

Pros

I love that I can work with team members, sharing the same information, while at the same time, the information is stored securely. The security is excellent. Salesforce have every tool and fields and many of them can be customized to work with one company's service type

Cons

I have to refresh alot of times to get the updated information. It will be nice if the information is being live streamed.
