Great system to streamline marketing initaitives

If you sign a contract, look into any consulting services they have. This will help you get up to speed on the platform and help configure some of the triggered messaging.

Pros

Great usability for email. For more robust functions, you will need a team assistance. The system is great at sending mass amounts of transactional messages.

Cons

You must have a developer to assist with API calls. Most of the functionality will need set-up. There will need to be integrations with your website and database for triggered sends.

Difficult to use ESP

Pros

Super powerful enterprise-level marketing platform that has a ton of features

Cons

The trick is figuring out how to make things happen in the poor UI. Even things like email list management are complicated.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud for customer connections and engagements

Pros

What i really like about this product is that there are many marketing tools that helps the user make recommendations, advertisement and services related to customer engagement.

Cons

I dont see any negative about this product except for the complexity of the product, but it is tolerable since the Salesforces Marketing is very useful and you get what you pay. A must have App.

Pros

I love that it integrates fully with the Sales Cloud and that there is a lot of cross functionality between the two systems

Cons

I did not like that it frequently disconnects from the Sales Cloud

One of the most popular CRMs, but poor support and bad UX

Pros

It's one of the most popular CRM, so most people are familiar with it. As such, it integrates with several other software tools out there.

Cons

The UX/UI isn't very good, unless it's all you're used to. Also opening a ticket with customer support is a pain, especially if you don't have a Salesforce login (I've tried both with and without.). The HubSpot integration has also been a huge pain, at least in my personal experience.

Quickbooks of CRM platforms!

Using SalesForce was one of the best decisions our company has made.

Pros

I love that I can work with team members, sharing the same information, while at the same time, the information is stored securely. The security is excellent. Salesforce have every tool and fields and many of them can be customized to work with one company's service type

Cons

I have to refresh alot of times to get the updated information. It will be nice if the information is being live streamed.

Buggy Buggy Buggy!

All in all this solution has a long way to go before it's a good product. There are much better alternatives in the marketing automation space. I have faith in this solution long term because it is owned by Salesforce.com.

Pros

Features are good in concept. Support takes at most a day to get back to you on cases. Support can usually help you, but not always.

Cons

Documentation is poor and almost always not descriptive enough and outdated. The system itself is very buggy. The typical response from support is "Just start fresh" in regard to whatever you're working on. We have a Sales cloud integration which does not work well with Marketing cloud. The connector is antiquated and it's impossible to leverage synchronized data extensions in journeys and other marketing content.

Makes building and evaluating marketing campaigns much easier!

Pros

I love how this product was able to grow with our company. The marketing team started off being very focused on our own brand awareness goals, but we gradually became more aligned with the sales team and this is one of the few products that still met our needs. We were able to go from simply doing general email marketing (a basic feature) to utilizing more advanced tools allowing us to track communication through the buyer journey and build upsell campaigns. I would recommend this product because it's helpful at every stage of marketing.

Cons

I wish the interface was a little easier to learn or had educational pop-ups when you use a feature for the first time. Even though the features were there for us to use as the company grew, there was definitely a learning curve that we had to power through in order to understand how to use this product on a more advanced level.

Salesforce Functionality

Pros

Salesforce CRM lead generation and data gathering features provide a wealth of information useful in successful customer management, from point of sale to payment.

Cons

Salesforce CRM lead file creations, linking and documents uploads can prove cumbersome and confusing when there are customer name or other data file changes, such that some leads can become a labryinth when not set up properly at the outset.

World Class Marketing Communication Platform

Creation and distribution of marketing newsletters to our customers as well as journey building to measure the success of our tradeshows.

Pros

You don't have to be a web designer to create marketing newsletters and promotions. Before this tool, we used to have to rely on our marketing agency to create all of our marketing newsletters. Once the template is created, it is easy to modify its contents and tailor the design for our various communications. We have also be using this tool to identify leads gathered in tradeshows. With the journey builder, we can identify hot leads and measure the success of our tradeshows.

Cons

I have no dislikes for this software as it has greatly enhanced our ability to communicate effectively with our customers and enables us to measure the success of the communication.

Centralising customer communication

There are other content management software but not quite as integrated to CRM landscape

Pros

Pretty easy in terms of configuration and can handle complex business rules. It is quite a flexible software for business needs.

Cons

It is cumbersome for the support resources to get started. Hence the learning curve is quite steep and the same way for the support team. But once they are accustomed to the changes it is quite a flexible software for your needs.

Salesforce is a great CRM for Big companies

Pros

I like the way that they can create a CRM according to the business needs. Just tell them exactly what you want done, how, and what you need.

Cons

It's just very expensive compared to other CRM. They even partnered with Hubspot so some best features are there too.
