Top Producer is a web-based CRM system suited for small companies in the Real Estate and Software/IT industries. The system allows users to users to manage their clients through all stages, from initial contact to closing and beyond.

Users can receive instant lead notifications via text or email. The countdown clock feature starts ticking as soon as an inquiry comes in, so users know exactly how fresh a lead is. The follow-up coach feature assists users stay on top of current clients through suggesting appropriate touch points. Users can create personalized emails from templates and send monthly branded newsletters whenever necessary.

Top Producer is compatible with numerous systems used by today’s agents, including Gmail, Outlook, Dropbox, Facebook, Twitter, and MailChimp. The system automatically imports MLS comparable data and photos, and the Note Stream feature allows users to create, view, and edit notes that link to contacts, activities, or properties.

Stay away from Top Producer and their products

The sales department are crooked, they have been charging me for something I cancelled months ago and they won't stop. I had to physically threaten to file suit and had my attorney get after them. What a bunch of losers. They really need a better system for handling complaints too. Avoid Top Producer at all costs.

Cons

The worst thing about them is their customer service, they are useless. I tried to cancel snap shot after their "free trial" but they still charged me and these people kept billing me for months. Then they claimed that I was under an implied contract, which I did not agree to. I did not a sign a contract or agree to anything in writing online. Their business practices are shoddy and crooked and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Do not contact their service go to the corporate headquarters of Move. That is not good business practice. Don't say "free trial" but then your customer cannot get out of being charged at the end of the period!

Top Producer is JUNK

If you're a busy professional and need contact management software that actually works, run, don't walk, away from Top Producer. The most common use of contact management software is to be able to export contacts for use in mailing. The software has 2 different means of entering addresses, which are inconsistent. The first way, you just enter the address. The second option forces you to enter the address number, street, etc. into separate fields. The unsuspecting user can easily end up with an exported file in which sometimes the address is in one field and sometimes parsed out. Top Producer staff claim this is a known bug and that their developers are "working" on it. This problem has had to have existed for at least 10 years and yet they're "working" on it. The employee, with whom I spoke, said all software has bugs, but not all software has MAJOR BUGS that go unaddressed.
If you're faced with this problem when exporting your contacts, YOU are forced to take the time to fix the resulting spreadsheet yourself. So then, why are you paying these idiots to store your contact management software?

Pros

There is very little to like about Top Producer. Their support is slow - you can sit on hold for 20 minutes while they "research" your problem.

Cons

Software does not function as-advertised. I wouldn't recommend it if it were free. It's going to cost me probably a dozen hours or so to manually fix the errors in their software.

Pros

If you have multiple deals going on, this is a must have to keep you organized! Love that it sends you reminders about dates, and when stuff is due.

Cons

Haven't been using the program long enough to have any real complaints. The inputting of back data is taking a while

Great for closing coordination and follow ups with reminders via email. Not as many features & functions in the ways of mobile notifications and access compared to competitors.

The closing coordination plans and ability to customize them as well as the option to create all your own personalized follow up plans to meet the needs of your clients depending on your pipeline and where you are acquiring leads.

Cons

The lack of mobile friendly access & functions. It would be a game changer if top producer could have follow up activities sent as text reminders directly to your cell phone with the ability to open the action with the notes directly from your phone. Most agents are on the go all the time and this would be AWESOME.

In theory, this program would provide helpful organizational features to help agents keep track of deadlines and other tasks.

Cons

It seems glitchy and difficult to use on a mobile platform. Most agents will need the full functionality on their phones, and have a low tolerance for program errors so I doubt this is something the agents in my office will utilize.

It is great hat it does a lot go things automatically because real estate agents have a hard time keeping track of everything they have going on all the time.

Cons

It seems really outdated both visually and in its functionality too. The website looks like it is still in the 90's, so it could definitely use some updates.

I like the market snapshots that get sent out to the leads in the system. These snapshots help put the home with a great picture in the face of the leads. Being able to integrate with our main CRM is a big plus as well. The leads are valid and ready whenever we give them a call from here.

It was hard to access the template library to create custom postcards and flyers. The program kept telling me I had to download data that i had already downloaded

I have used Top Producer for at least 10 years and have used several of their by products. I find them to be very effective for what I need. In ten years I only have had one incident that was not favorable and that was because of a customer service representative. Recently I was tempted to go with another CRM because it was part of a training program that I was taking. However, I decided that I would stay with Top Producer because it was more cost effective and actually offered more for less money.

I love Top Producer CRM, the main reason being their drip system for contacting leads, clients and past clients. Pre-written emails, letters and prompts for when to perform the tasks is unbeatable. Don't miss a step closing clients.

As a Real Estate Coach I have and use both Top Producer and Infusionsoft. Top Producers use the Top Producer CRM to run their entire business. It is a very powerful tool that you will need help setting up. Once it is set up there are many everyday tasks that can be automated to get you to the next level.

I am an Broker that had used TP many years ago when CRMs were first coming out. I recently went thru six months of CRM evaluations, including TP, looking for a quality system that was user friendly as well as productive. When I went online to check out other agents comments they were all over the map positive as well as very negative. First sign that I ignored! So, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and talked with their online sales person that was very friendly. He said that I could have a short term trial period. So, I signed up and started applying their product. Bottom line, the system is a cobbled together group of programs that were not developed internally together and do not function well together. When you see so many glowing testimonials on line, I have learned that means there is a large mess that they are trying to mask. Once they get your account number, they are not keepers of promises are not friendly whatsoever. Overall a very poor product, with poor customer service, feeding on unsuspecting and trusting agents. This is without a doubt the worst Real Estate related organization that I have ever dealt with in my 26 years of practice. There are many CRMs available that you can trust and provide much easier to "work with" product.
