Pros/Cons
Pros
- This is a great company and they are always available to help with anything which is great to have.
- It's great to be able to block off certain posts and blog categories that I want to keep only for paid members. I love how it helps members upgrade their plan and have the cost applied retroactively.
- I would highly recommend MemberMouse to anyone looking for a quality membership platform. Their Support Center is rich with resources, and when you need personal assistance, they're the best.
Cons
- I have had all manner if error including customers recurring billing just stops, double payments we've had to refund, and other errors. It is a gigantic plugin so updating can cause issues.
- My biggest complaint with Membermouse is the way it handles 'Cancelled' or 'Expired' memberships.
- I hate that they use their own billing schedule when they could easily use the payment providers.
Pros
- I am a big fan of paypal and the fact it gained trust within all major merchants. Would be good if it worked with amazon too.
- I use PayPal for business, as a payment processor, and personal, for transactions and sending money. Their security is outstanding and the ease of use is very good.
- It was overall really a good experience to use such a nice application which does what it promises.
Cons
- I don't like the dispute process for disputing charges for orders not received. I have had many times when i did not receive product or received not of quality product and was unable to get a refund.
- It sucks, too many issues, too poor customer service, not enough accountability with the partnered apps and businesses such as eBay.
- My only complaint is the customer service aspect. It's done through an email template so there is a delay in getting answers which is frustrating.
