As I've used DynaSCAPE throughout the years, I've only come across a few things that were mildly frustrating.

The software is good and the customer service has been great as well. I would consider it the best, or certainly the top tier, of what is available.

When I have a question I contact our sales manager and either he will help resolve the issue or he sends my issue to the support department and they are pretty quick to help with the issue.

Excellent extension into supporting programs, colour, sketch up, etc. Fantastic customer support.

Great company to work with. Very responsive to tech support.

The Best Professional CAD software for the Landscape Industry.

An advantage to our business is that time spent on revisions is greatly decreased, which helps with time management.

Good integration with SketchUp and a fantastic 3D library. Tied into Manage360 for quick and accurate estimating - a system that allows you to properly recover overhead.

The ease of use and the finished product. I can quickly put together a plan and have the confidence knowing I can present a high quality plan to the client.

Just because a program automates some processes, if you aren't paying attention, it could get you in trouble if you don't realize a glitch in the system.

I like that landscape designs can be colored and are very impressive looking to clients. I also love that the designs can be imported into Dynascape Manage and automatically create a proposal.

Back yards are more expensive and should be for a reason. We had a hard time estimating this before.

The plans I design always come out looking crisp and clean. There are so many great things about this software, I highly recommend it.

One feature I like most about the software is the measuring tools. It's very quick and easy to calculate square footages on patios and walkways for estimating purposes.

My favorite part, and what impresses others the most, is the aesthetic of the final product, particularly with DynascapeColor.

The plant symbols are good and make the drawings look tailored to the landscaping. We only use Manage 360 for pricing and estimation purposes, it works well and the kits are a huge time saver.

Job tracking is dreadful. Not at all flexible and very confusing.

Dynascape has helped me to provide my clients and installers with clear, well-labeled, and aesthetically pleasing designs to both help sell and install my designs.

Once you have used the software for awhile and have gotten past the steep learning curve it's a great software. There are tons of figures in the library that are already scale to your plan.

Cannot easily integrate pictures through M360 to generate plant photos automatically.

I like the integration of a comprehensive plant database and auto generation of plant lists. The color add-on is also very beneficial for presentations.

When a revision is necessary being able to quickly make that change and print a new sheet is so nice and I am thankful for having that capability.

It still relies on technology that was first used in the early 2000s. There is no intuitive interface, and it shows it age with the inability to seamlessly edit or modify any of the layers.

It’s very easy to build templates and pallets of plants to shorten design internally. The title block we built and the symbol combinations are clean and east to use.

I find it very odd that the plants are listed alphabetically by botanical name but listed as the common name.

Once I learned the program, I soon realized the advantages to creating my Landscape Projects with the program and started producing all my drawings on Dynascape in my Landscape Design Practice.

The software is easy to use, and integrates accuracy with graphic quality for an end result that is presentation worthy to the average person.

Drawing with the product is painful compared to others. It's not very intuitive if you are coming from other programs.

There is a learning curve, yes, but I believe it is well worth your time and the financial investment to get this software and test it out for yourself.

Need to be able to do templates yourself and not wait on the company to do them and pay them a lot of money.

Manage 360 is a great program for estimating and managing projects. Its integration with Dynascape Design is time-saving, which is nice too.

Actual functionality is limited in some regards and it is actually the programs ability to integrate with sketchup that is it's strongest feature.

Manage has helped us capture all of our expenses, overhead and profit in our proposals. Prior to having it, we were leaving a lot of money on the table and did not even know it.

You can use the program fairly fast to produce nice presentation plans. To me the graphics are important cuz it looks like a hand drawing as much as anything can.

The only this that Dynascape is missing is a 3D function similar to Sketchup.

Poor functionality in some tools (take off tools that cannot interpret outlines without cutting and pasting the polygon to the side and measuring it as a separate entity).

This software is very easy to use and learn. It is the easiest to navigate and the cleanest looking for the customers.

I have been a user for about 15 years. I absolutely love the ability to create precision drawings that are easily integrated into  the field for actual construction.

Over all, I do really like the product. It's relatively easy to use compared to AutoCad and its tailored to the type of landscape architecture projects I like to do.

Dynascape is a good entry software, and is adequately priced. I learned it at seneca college and consider myself proficient enough in it that I enjoy using it.

Trying to tackle learning the software alone was very difficult for me. It wasn't until after learning from her that the  videos made sense and I can utilize them now when I'm stuck on a feature.

It is very user friendly and helps me quickly create creative designs.

Scheduling and mapping are excellent. Great integration with Quickbooks.

No more squinting and trying to read your technicians chicken scratches which is suppose to pass as handwriting. Has fantastic search query ability.

User friendly and makes scheduling very easy. You cannot go wrong using this software and your company will profit.

I would consider it the best program for a service company. It's easy to use and cuts down on office time and man hours in the field, which in turn makes you more money with your existing customers.

Hindsite is a great company with a great product.

The only way to take payment was to go back to the web browser and sync the program to quickbooks for my invoice to show. This is a huge waste of time and extra steps.

I like the ease of scheduling and all the features/notes in the clients data.

Not cloud or web-based: lose power at the office, and the mobile techs can be at a loss.

The support staff is phenomenal, they are always helpful and informative, and are never afraid to admit if they need help from a superior.

Their help department is the best, if I call to get their help, I know that I will not have to call back.

It is truly a complete solution for project management. The product also comes with excellent customer support and a free training session.

I really like the functionality and how it syncs with QuickBooks and have a staff of amazing helpful people.

Also if the tech is running ahead or behind of schedule there is real time updates and then can be adjusted saving tons of time and definitely money.

Reports are on the weak side and marketing aspects could be stronger.

Very user friendly and you can work toward a paperless office.

So if office loses power or internet, all your techs can be at a loss. We have been asking them for years when will this change.

The company has made the mistake a few times of releasing updates that have a ton of bugs and have caused a lot of grief and cost us money.

Great product for service companies. People are very nice and they are responsive.

The ease of scheduling and ability to customize to your own specific requirements is great, and the integration with QuickBooks makes invoicing mostly a breeze.
