Tradify is a cloud-based construction and field service solution for energy, electrical, construction and plumbing companies. Primary features include online job management, scheduling, quoting, invoicing, materials tracking and real-time project updates.

Tradify has real-time job status tracking and enables users to schedule and dispatch employees. Users can view workload overviews and organize jobs by priority. Supplier price lists can also be imported.

The job management feature provides real time job status updates from each employee, which helps users manage job allocation. The quick quoting module allows users to generate quotes for new jobs and new customers using customizable templates. Tradify offers integration with various accounting solutions such as MYOB, QuickBooks and Xero.

Tradify is available for purchase on a per user per month basis. A mobile app is available for Android and iOS. Customer support is offered over the phone, via email, live chat, online FAQs and video tutorials.

Tradify has changed the way we operate our business and has created an efficiency that we really did lack prior to using it. The tradify app has been extremely user friendly for all of our staff to use.

Pros

Provides all the features that our business requires and is incredibly easy to use for all staff.
Customer support has been fantastic.....our representative has been able to help us out with any requests and questions we had and has gone above and beyond to support us since we have been using Tradify.

Cons

We do not have any negative feedback for this product at this point in time, with all of our staff giving positive feedback also

Pros

I especially like the fact that information can be accessed through one system. The software is also very intuitive which makes the training of new users easy.

Cons

Pros

Very simple to use. I can tell that someone took a lot of time to organize the layout and make frequent functions easy to find.

Fairly Easy to use, some good features, requires more development

Pros

Saves time quoting and invoicing, layout of invoice looks good, the app is easy to use so the guys in the field don't struggle with how to use it.

Cons

when sending emails from tradify the invoices at the bottom say sent from Tradify, i get that its a bit of free advertising for Tradify but I think it looks unprofessional from our point of view, you can download invoices and documents and send your usual way but that does take longer.
Doesn't get updated very regularly I used a competitors software for a while (doesnt integrate with MYOB essentials which is why i stopped) and they did regular improvements every month.
doesn't integrate with other calendar programs like google calendar.
kits which i like where you basically put together regular things that you do ie install a double Power point, but you cant do this on invoices.
Pages on the app do take a long time to load and a big downfall no offline access to the app.

Cons

Margins need to be adjusted so that Quotes, Invoices, Job Sheets are not displayed over two pages. When clients go to view/print the Invoice there is always a second page which is blank. As this is displayed in a PDF format, it can't be changed. Logo is also displayed blurry on Invoice page.

Tradify has contributed to a huge reduction in my workload, my office is now virtually paperless

Administrative & Bookkeeping work has minimised substancially.

Pros

I like that the bulk of administrative work is done outside the office by the technician on the road, being a business that is primarily a cash based business where cash is collected on site and receipted on site, that means minimal document handling in the office.

Cons

There's not much I don't like about the software the only think I would like is more flexibility when emailing to clients, being able to choose from multiple emails stored in customer files and also being able to select from a number of internal company emails when sending documents.

If Tradify can add a quantity conversion factor to the purchase orders, so that our stock levels can show 100's of metres rather than 20 off 30metre coils of tube that would make it a 5 star product.

Pros

Easy to use, quick to learn, well it was for me. Great for getting work progressed and engineers right information straight their smartphones.

Cons

Purchase orders and units of quantity are a problem. It is ok if items are purchased in multiple quantities of 1, but if the supplier quantity is 1 unit of 30 metres there is no way to convert the quantity and unit price in the Tradify system. This leads to problems for quotations and billing. It almost renders the quotation part of the software redundant for us.

I've been using Tradify for 18 months now and have found it to be very good for my business.

Pros

Tradify integrates well with Xero and does exactly what I need out of the software. I have staff members out on the road and find that I have a lot less paper work to deal with at the end of the day.

Cons

It does have a couple of bugs but nothing too serious and they are always doing work to improve and take suggestions seriously.

Fantastic! I couldn't work without it.

Pros

I like the user interface and the ability to totally manage a job. Being a sole trader I can quote, time track, and invoice quickly and easily. I can see it's potential for multi staff job assignments.

Cons

No offline functionality. I would love to be able to use this without data coverage in the field and then have it sync with the server. This also affects the speed of usage if I am in a weak mobile signal area.

The total experience can be summed in in one word. Awesome!!!

The software allows us to have a quick view of where the team is and what work is coming up. It also help with clarity in communicating what jobs and where they are rather than calling or emailing them. its the one meeting point where everyone in the business can see where we are at any time any day.

Pros

The user interface is so easy to understand and become familiar with. The divers functionality allows so many facets of interaction including using the app whilst in not in the office.

Cons

The fact that in doesn't integrate with my office calendar. We use outlook and it would be fantastic if i could just open my app and use tradify to send out calendar invites to prospective client from there instead of having to then go to out look and repeat the same task of booking the appointments.

The best thing I like about this software is the ability to consolidate materials into a single line item named materials. This saves massive amounts of precious time not having to double handle paperwork when creating invoices.

Seemed good a the start

A basic app that seems to be still in development. Lots of small things that you would think were very basic are missing.

Pros

Somewhat easy to use. Streamed lined, nice colour, the support team are somewhat decent. Layout is ok.

Cons

There's no google map interaction, you can see a customers address but that's it. The calendar format is in dd/mm/yyyy and not in calendar format, so let's say your customer wants you back in 2 weeks, you have to go into your calendar on your phone to see what actual day that falls on. When creating jobs, they do no automatically go into the scheduler. You have to then create a job in your scheduler. A lot of things seems very easy to fix on the app, but the dev team is lacking some what. Theres not TXT/sms function built into the app.

I can run my entire company through Tradify. From customer creation, to job programming to scheduling all the way to invoicing. It does it all.

Its easy to use. Everything I need is all there. I can create jobs, customers, quotes and invoices all on the one system.
